If I couldn't leave a star at all I wouldn't select one. I am a single Mother, first ********** due in a few months, was homeless until March. I was scammed by an Impersonator claimed to be a Navy Federal employee. Navy Federal denied my fraud case, denied my appeal, basically told me I'm not VALUED as their customer. I offered to give numbers that the scammer used, asked why they couldn't contact the person where my funds went to, I got nothing. I basically lost two weeks pay but they didn't give a ****. Navy Federal...You would think their cyber security would be tighter. I'm getting treated like a CRIMINAL when I'm the VICTIM. I will not bank with them ever & wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

**** issued me an emergency fund check. Navy Federal is not allowing me to cash until someone at their corporate office reviews the check. Which will take up to 5 days for a response. Meanwhile Im sleeping on an air mattress of my home which is filled with dust. I owe contractors money. Workers have stopped showing up as I dont have the money to pay them. This policy is so backwards it makes me sick.

This bank is fraud and you cant convince me otherwise. In September someone hacked into my account and disputed 840 then went to an atm and took the money out. Also found out my card was taken at a cheer comp along with some of my other belongings. I called to file a claim and the lady told me there was unusual activity from a device that was NOT mine or in my city. Red flag number 1. Also the atms have cameras where you can see its NOT me- unless theyre fake (which i believe they are cause footage wont be pulled). They took my 840. Im a single mom who works hard and Im NOT ok with this s*** Whoever is still until this day trying to use my card for Lyft and game ticket purchases- Ive received the text notifications for the old card that right there is freaking proof!. I got a fraud call a few days ago from a number that popped up as navy federal- called them back and the lady said they didnt call. Red flag number 2. Today woke up to a text for an unauthorized transaction and they cant tell me anything about it, but I was sleep and now I have to get a new card. However there is no one i can talk to in the fraud department to get information or see what all was actually done about my case, but this is supposed to be the best bank. Im very disappointed and will go to court about this because its bs and i will NOT just let them rob me of 840. Its sad i cant trust my own banking institution who is supposed to protect my money !!!!.

Navy Federal Credit Union: Unauthorized Withdrawals and Lack of a Valid Loan Agreement Im sharing my troubling experience with Navy Federal Credit Union regarding their unauthorized withdrawals and failure to provide a valid loan agreement for my vehicle. Their actions have caused significant financial and emotional harm, and I want others to be aware.1. Unauthorized Withdrawals Before a Signed Loan Agreement On November 17, 2022, I financed a vehicle with Navy Federal. Despite requesting a physical promissory note, they never mailed it. Meanwhile, they withdrew:$769.19 on January 5, 2023.$779.19 on February 1, 2023.These withdrawals occurred without my authorization and before any signed agreement, violating basic banking practices.2. Invalid Promissory Note Given in February On February 11, 2023, I received an invalid promissory note missing key terms. Yet Navy Federal had already withdrawn funds and continued demanding payments.3. Unsigned Real Promissory Note Found On October 2, 2024, I discovered the real promissory note, which was never signed, meaning no valid contract exists. Despite this, Navy Federal continued to withdraw money, demand payments, and damage my credit. Conclusion Navy Federals actions show a blatant disregard for proper banking practices. Theyve demanded payments and damaged my credit without a valid contract, causing significant harm. Proceed with caution if youre considering doing business with them.

Absolute garbage. Couldn't possibly recommend strongly enough that you (no matter who you are) should steer clear. I cannot WAIT to put this garbage "credit union" in my past. Not AD, Reserve, National Guard, or Veteran friendly. Absolutely would NOT recommend, even in a dire situation.

I have been a member for 30 years and I have hated every moment of it. Early on **** was a friendly, responsive cu for those in the military... now it's just a huge conglomerate that basis every thing on algorithms. YOU want to join? You can have my membership... they let anyone join ******.

An absolute joke of a credit union. Been a member for over 16 years. My wife goes to apply for a car loan with an excellent credit scored over 810. **** comes back with a *****% APR, nearly double the 5.59% they offer to those with excellent scores. Called and asked how they arrive at that number, they refuse to give any details but then offer that if we pay $2500 within the first 60 days, they will run her credit again and possibly refinance! What an absolute disgrace this company has become, putting profits over their military members they claim to care for.

****'s professionalism and customer service is deplorable. I wrote my mother a check, and today, she tried to deposit the check with no success. The teller at the ******************** branch denied the check and wouldn't give my mother any reason why. For security purpose, I can understand that. However, when I called **** and asked if there was any restrictions on my account, I was told that there were none. There was no reason why she couldn't successfully deposit this check. Either this was incompetence on the tellers behalf or it was a personal matter to deny my mother the available funds. This isn't the first bad experience I've had with ****. And I no longer use **** as my main banking institution. My hard earned money is really no good here.
