  I had this man *** call me claiming to be from Angie's List that he got my name from a lead I have no business that I'm working with I'm not having a cleaning company which he thinks I do he keeps calling two times I told him to take my phone number off the Do Not Call list he called the third time his name is *** his phone number is the other number he calls from his the other number. It's somebody's idea of a joke to be calling from Angie's List isn't Angie's List no more isn't it called **** now ?

  This company has billed me for leads that I did not except and agree upon even after turn off the automatic leads being sent they still were billing me for there services that I havent used. I spoke with someone over several months ago to please stop sending leads and they continue to do so..I deleted and blocked them it almost has been a year now but they keep trying to send me clients billing me for a service that I am not using now they have just changed there name to **** I wonder why maybe due to indirect harassment that I am experiencing

  Attempted to use Angie's List to book a chimney sweet. They scheduled my appointment after promising a contractor within a week, they attempted to pre-charge my credit card, and have since cancelled me 3 times. There has been a lack of communication, no effort to make things right, and are not working with me to schedule a proper appointment to actually complete the promised work. Very disappointing from several aspects. I hope that the BBB can properly look into their practices of broken promised and poor customer service.

  DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU ARE A CONTRACTOR!! Unethical and thieving clients can falsely claim that the job is incomplete and you are then charged cancellation and late fees without any Avenue for your defense.They have no regard for your personal costs and refuses to acknowledge your claims. Doesnt even deserve one star

  I used **** to find a roofing contractor. A few days after looking at **** I received a call from an **** representative asking if I would be interested in the **** guaranteed price service. I opted to accept this and I was charged for the service and assigned a roofer. The roofer assigned refused the job so a different contractor showed up at my house explaining that if I did not accept his service I would be charged the price I had paid but if I accepted his offer to do the job the pre-pay price would be deducted from the total cost of the job. So ************************* did the roofing job although he had no idea how to do roofing. He left and a few days later during a heavy rain I had leaks. But now he was unreachable. I checked out the address that he gave but it did not exist. So it seems that the first contractor gave the information to the second contractor. Which means that information given to **** is not secure and anyone can get it. I called ****, was on the phone twice for over and hour and they did not seem to care that their company was being used to run scams and people were being ripped off in their name. I would suggest that you just use ****** to find a professional, vet them yourself and skip **** altogether.I gave them a 1 star because I had to rate them to be able to write a complaint. Actually I think their services deserve a 0 rating. You are better off without them.

  This should really be 0 stars (hut you can't leave a review with 0 stars). I hired a woman to clean the kitchen and bathroom specifically. She was 2 hours late. Then when she looked over the areas, she said that she could not clean because Zhe had asthma (Why was she "working as a cleaning" person?)I called Angie's List to let them know the situation and they rescheduled the appointment with a different cleaner for a week later. The person never showed up. When I contacted Angie's List about it, customer service's reaction was indifferent and then rude. Avoid this very unprofessional organization at all costs. Ex

  DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU ARE A CONTRACTOR!! THEY LIED FROM THE BEGINNING! Was told that leads were sent to me and solely me UNLESS I didn't respond to lead quickly enough. Not true. They send every lead to 4 different pro's. Charge each pro over $100 for the lead. 90% of the leads were FAKE. Either the customer didn't answer phone, text and/or email or they had no interest in actually doing the project, they were only doing basic research. The lead refund system is a joke. They will not refund leads EVEN IF YOU DONT TALK TO THE CUSTOMER. They took money out of my bank account for leads that were fake and when I asked for refund they say they don't refund!! Finally someone told me they would issue a refund and wait 3-4 business days. I waited a whole week. Called again. They said "oh its now a different amount and we will have someone from accounting call you to explain". Never got that call!! Call again after 2 weeks and they can't find anything about the refund and told me again they don't do refunds. Absolutely unacceptable. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!

  I tried to file for the three pieces of wallpaper to be put back up and I tried to file for a Screen repair and Angies list deducted $234.08 and $264.07 A total of $498.15 and plus $99-no work was ever done. someone came out and gave me a consult on the screen and ***** charge me another $99 I tried to explain and I have no resolution yet . For the work he said many hundreds of dollars- I googled and found someone for a company much less. I cannot afford to lose $498.15 . I think its at least Im more afraid of ***** then I would be the *** .locked my account and I may have to go close my credit card and get another one because of this.***** said they have no proof/ I cut and pasted the debits -to *****. From my bank When you call and try to explain they try to double talk you .The guy for the Wallpaper was on his way out but I didnt know this and so when I got a call about Wallpaper I said I had somebody and so he turned around and was going back and then I realized it was the same person so I called him I tried to call him back iMessage Him call him he would not ans - he was with someone a message to him and he refused to answer wouldnt answer my call wouldnt return my messages and he had somebody else in the car with him so he wasnt texting and driving or calling and driving so anyway thats how it went and so they are Are you ugly can lookedcharging me the full price for him not messaging me back or not or him not coming all the way to my door . I even cut and pasted the conversation on the message where I tried to explain to him and he wouldnt answer I even cut and pasted It I have no idea why they charged me the other 200+ dollars because I paid the $99 for the consult on the screen and so I have three charges from from Angies list and with nothing to show for it -nothing as I had a guy for $99 consult wanted hundreds and hundreds of dollars I went on ****** and I found somebody who will do the job for $198.A company.

  I am a new cleaning company I went with **** leads because I thought I would be able to build clientele. For one whole month everything went down hill first week *****. Second week another ***** then another. I told them I wanted to cancel and would like my money back but they told me I agreed to the terms. When I talked to them when I first got with them I didnt think it would cost me so much money I was told I would pay for the leads that I win. I only cleaned about 4 peoples homes ever from the app and only made around 500 dollars. Half of the leads were not even leads. I would contact the leads and they would sound very irritated and tell me they never were looking for a cleaner. They have this instant booking system I went to the persons house and waited 30 mins outside to find out they never even booked me. That was so embarrassing to show up to a persons house and they didnt even book me or even know I was coming. The others that booked me would call and say please cancel the booking I never booked you. They want me to pay ***** after I canceled and at this point I will not pay it. They took so much money from me for me to not even get clients or for people who werent even interested in cleanings. Please if you are just starting like me do not get involved with **** list because of them I am a-little behind on my bills. I will figure out on my own to build my clientele ****** learned.

  I recently booked with **** to have four replacement doors installed. I joined their program that worked with their contractors and they would pay the contractor directly after the project was done, for a fee of $29 plus $395 for the job. I received an e-mail from **** giving me the name of the contractor that would be doing the job. I called the contractor, and he said he had not been informed of this job by ****. I explained to him the program and he said that he did not work that way, he got referrals from **** but he did the quoting and billing himself. He called **** to inquire about the job and they could not find where I had booked a job. To make a long story short, this whole thing (and I have only stated part of the story) has been a nightmare. The people who are in their customer service's are apparently from another country which is ok but it seems to be real easy for them to not know what is going on. On top of that the contractor which I talked to (and hired) said that $395 for my job was really low and unrealistic. On top of that, I had hired someone from ****'s/Home Advisor to replace a deck. It cost me $4,000 and it is one of the worst jobs I have ever seen. I can't build a deck myself, but I can guarantee that I would have done a better job myself. I would not recommend **** to anyone at this point. The last two people I talked to at Angi's to cancel my booking were very helpful and polite and understanding.
