    Handy/Angies List scam. No way to contact to complain. No contact info available. Link provided does not accept user id info used directly with handy. Paid for 4 hours of deep cleaning. Professional brought a broom and a bucket. Didnt mop floors. Vacuumed master bedroom after I asked her to but she insisted on using my vacuum which I repeatedly told her was broken. In 4 hours of deep cleaning, she wiped down baseboards in front room, cleaned stove and half cleaned master bathroom counter and toilet only. She never entered other two bedrooms. I had to ask her to wipe down my fridge, which was included in deep clean. She didnt wipe down any drawers!Missing a remote control which I had on top of my tv cabinet. Why it would be moved I have no idea. And worse, handy has a supposed happiness guarantee but impossible to communicate as links and even chat are not available Even here, unable to locate correct company since I only had HANDY to go by.Terrible terrible terrible

    This man was calling me everymorning to join their membership. Which I wasn't too fond of it being $288 but then he guaranteed me my money back if I wasnt satisfied within the first 10 leads. I gave it a try, because I am a startup I could use the work, no risk with my money back being guaranteed. But aparently I cant have my money back because agreement states i must contact the customer within the first hour. So after the first 8 leads still not one good lead. I would contact the customer and there was just a busy tone on the other end. I would receive a message on the app attached to the leads stating the customer wanted cleaning service along with an email address for me to contact their wife. ON EVERY SINGLE ONE? NOW THATS BIZZARE! So if I keep seeing this repeated cycle of leads why would I make the effort to contact fraudulent leads? APPARENTLY THEYRE OKAY WITH FRAUD BEING DONE TO THEYRE PROS. They must be a scam theirselves! I'm a startup buisness, I had to scrape for this membership that was guaranteed money back that ended with them not being able to deliver. After reading some of these comments i see similar situations. DONT BE VICTIM TO THEIR SCAM like the rest of us.

    If I could give a negative star, I would.I purchased a new faucet at Lowes and paid for installation. Lowes uses Angis List for certain plumbing installations. I was contacted by Angis list on May 14, 2024 that they would install the faucet May 16, 2024 between 7pm - 10pm. Then on the morning May 16th they said it had to be rescheduled to May 18th 10am-1pm. May 18th came and no one showed up, I checked the Angis list website and it showed **************** had installed my faucet and he was paid. I had to contact ***** who contacted Angies list to inform them my faucet had NOT been installed. The installation fee paid to ****** was withdrawn. Angis list reset my appointment to May 24th.on May 24th I received a text that my appointment was rescheduled to May 28th. And thats when I decided that if I continued to allow Angis list to handle my faucet installation, it would be done 5 years from now. I contacted ***** to cancel the 28th installation appointment and asked for my installation fee to be refunded. I will NEVER EVER use Angis list for anything and I will let everyone and anyone know to not use them!!!!! ????

    I don't know how they stay in business. Their customer service is terrible, their technicians don't show up, and their Supervision is not accessible. The technicians would not show up and would not call me or ****. I purchased a TV from ******* and ******* contracted **** to install it. They cancelled FOUR times on the installation.I went with Best Buy's Geek Squad. They showed up on the scheduled day and time and installed the TV.DO NOT USE ****.

    I've been a pro for about 5 years now and this company has continued to fail me. They never want to assist you when you have issues with a job or pay. More recently there has *** a couple jobs where I needed help and the help never showed up so I end up not getting paid because of this or they'll give you 20 dollars for the inconvenience which doesn't pay for my time nor gas. I've also had where my pay was supposed to be one thing and when I go to collect my pay it's all of a sudden less and they blame that to be a glitch. DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR ANYTHING THEY ARE GARBAGE

    I hired a contractor through Angie's List for an extension patio project because of his good reviews. However, he did a terrible job. None of the work met the required standards. He even hired an unlicensed electrician who damaged all the electrical wiring on the first floor of my house, costing us over $5000 to rewire. Additionally, the patio color and bricks didn't match. When confronted, the contractor said that nothing can be perfect and that's just how they work.He refused to finish the job, and we had to call the police. We then discovered that the contractor had been deported six months ago and had returned from ****** to continue his business using Angie's List.This is a big warning for everyone. Be cautious about who you hire. Angie's List never verified this information, which makes it dangerous to let such individuals work for you. I also filed a complaint with Angie's List, but they responded with an email saying homeowners need to beware and that they cannot resolve issues with contractors. Despite the complaint, the contractor is still active on Angie's List.I will not use Angie's List anymore; it's a big scam. I plan to file a small claims court case against Angie's List, though the contractor doesn't care about such cases because they are not legal here and do not face consequences. All of this was facilitated by Angie's List.

    I paid to have Angie's List put together a tv stand for my mother. The handyman employed by Angie's List never called or showed up. I have been BEGGING for this company to give me a refund OF ***** for services I never received. It's been almost two months now. Everytime I call I'm told this matter will be escalated and that I should expect the funds in the next couple of business days. Guess what? Never happens. I will NEVER use this company again. NEVER!

    I feel scammed by this company. They never disclosed to me that they would be charging me for every lead , even if I dont get the job. On top of that they send that same lead to many other contractors and I was t aware of that either. I guess its all in the contract as with the non refundable $288 fee for their service, but I fell for the sales person promising me all these jobs and got excited and just signed up without thoroughly reading the contract. My mistake, but I tried canceling my service and getting a refund for the yearly subscription I paid for and they refused to give me my money back, even though they did nothing for me except extracting money from me. Very shady practices, shady business, this way of doing business ahiule be illegal.

    Nasty, hostile sales rep ****** calls me unsolicited and quickly got sarcastic then aggressive when I indicated I was going to pass. Never heard a single good thing about this company and my experience with this A**** **** confirmed- not good people/bad for small businesses.
