  It is the worst service the sales personnel pitch you the ideas that you will solely be charged on leads that you make contact with but they send you leads that you aren't interested in and charge even if you do not accept first initial sign up fee being 284 dollars and with in 18 days with out excepting any job offer an additional 500 dollars in charges in leads not even opened horrible experience and a complete scam

  I joined Angis list to create a cleaning business. Over EasterI have become disabled and no longer have a cleaning business. I have called over a 12X to cancel, wrote 7 emails with no response. They are still trying to charge my credit card $400 monthly. Please assist me with this issue. What a scam company. The first month of leads were all fake leads. Not one prospect came from all of it. So charging $400 for fake leads. When I asked them why I was receiving fake leads , they answered saying they have no control over their leads?!?!? WTF?!??

  Contact from them is starting to turn into harassment. I reached out just once to see what they offer. after that i told them I'm trying to get my business off the ground and if i can't get any customers ill contact them when id have money. Well, it turns out they want me to skip getting commercial insurance and just buy their aggies list subscription for advertising. i told them numerous times to stop calling me I'm not interested in their services. they still call on a daily basis trying there intimidating approach to make me buy into their scheme so they can make a big profit off the commission. I've hung up on them numerous times they don't get the hint. its turning into harassment and I'm ready to get a lawyer. My webpage is way above angies list i dont need there services. boycott angies list.

  Angi's List is a complete sham. PLEASE DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM IF YOU ARE A CONTRACTOR! I don't know how those people sleep at night. I signed up my new contracting business with the intent of getting just 1 or 2 extra jobs / month knowing full well that the pay-per-lead services are very shady. I was blown away by just how shady they truly are. The offer was that if i didn't get any business after 10 leads, i would get a full refund so i felt it was worth the aggravation if i could just get 1 job closed. I filled out my profile and had previous clients provide several 5-star reviews on it. As leads came to me, I called them back within 15 minutes. NOT ONE PERSON I CALLED ANSWERED THEIR PHONE. NOBODY. I called multiple times and even the next day. I sent emails too. NOTHING. I was paying $150 each to leave voicemails to people that might as well have been randomly pulled from a 1987 phone book. After my 10 wasted leads (and being charged for each of them) I called ****'s hotline to cancel the account and get my $750 refund that I was promised. NOPE - can't do that. One of the 10 "leads" was called after the 1 hour call-back time limit. That tidbid (not disclosed during the sales pitch) disqualified me for a refund.I spoke to agents. Then their supervisor and NOTHING. I asked for the supervisor's boss and they don't give out that information. From reading other reviews, someone stated how there are pending lawsuits against them... something about FRAUD!!! Not too shocking. I hope they win and **** is made to pay back every nickel they stole from hard working contractors. Too bad leaving no stars for this review isn't an option. That's what they deserve.

  We got a call from **** service as home advisor services. My husband and I werecstarting a cleaning business. The guy called us to offer us his services. From the beginning itcwas a nightmare. We kept getting leads, when we ggot ready to go, my husband drove 15 miles, the lady told him, she been cancel the service 2 years ago that was last year 2022. Itcwas a fradulentv one. So they sent us a fake lead.We received others one of them was closed enough, when he went, the person also told my husband not to come back. Then every call we received were fake. They charged us for money back guarantee if we were not happy. We decided to call them so they could stop sending us fake services and requested for our money back. My husband told them to cancel, we do not want to do business with them at all. Do you know what? After sending us our money back they continue to charge us fir leads that we don't even accept. Their trucks was to send us leads, and charge us eventhough we cancel. So we continue to ignore them. Last month we received a collection letter under OUR small cleaning business we are trying to build, not even 1 customer from them, they want to rob us. They are fake. We we called, they apologize and tried to forced us to accept free leads, we said "NO".WE NEED **** AND HOME ADVISOR, WHO EVER YOU ARE, TO PLEASE TAKE MY BUSINESS OFF YOUR LIST. WE DO NOT OWE THEM A DIME. WE NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU, WE WERE VERY UPSET, BECAUSE THEY KEPT ON CALLING ** NONE STOP AFTER OUR REFUND, BUT PHONE CALLA KEPT COMING. WE CALLED AND PLEADED THEM TO STOP. WE DO NOT OWE YOU MONEY. WE NEVER WIRK WITH YOU, NOT EVEN ONE DEAL WAS LEGIT.

  I put in a request to have the lawn mowed (recurring). I called to have a member of ****'s list to come and perform landscape work to a property in ********* ** (this was requested on Thursday Apr. 4th, the service was postponed until that weekend). I called ****'s list to inform them that the landscaper needs to call so we can give them a QR Code in order to enter the property (spoke with someone on Thur, they stated that they would have someone call, no one did). I called back that day at 12 or 12:30pm and stated that no one called. He stated that the number on file was the wrong number published n Angi's site, she corrected it, I followed up again and found out the number was wrong again. I called back and asked for the correct info, the lady on the phone stated that she will provide the correct info. I texted the landscaper, he responded back and I asked him for his direct line (sometimes **** gives you a number that routes to that person's cell phone). After talking with him, he stated that the scheduled time was set from 4- 6, on the documentation it stated 2 -4. I said no issues, at least someone will come out. After the day passed the gentleman/landscaper called back and stated that the scheduled service has been cancelled. I called back again after talking with him. I asked to have someone from **** (manager level) to give me a call (this was on Fri). Mind you, I called back on Sun asking for a manager to give me a call, he stated that he would do so. After all of this, now it is Thurs and no one called. I called back again today and asked to have a manager give me a call around 12 or 1 pm. At 5:05 pm today, he finally called (I could not get to him) so I called back. There was nothing in the notes about the call nor did they identify who called. The young lady said she would re-enter the request, so we have to wait another 24 - 48 hrs to get a call back. **** is the worst and poorly run organization I have ever done business with. I would not recommend.

  Ive been using **** list for a couple months while I get my small business off the ground. Hoping it would generate some sort of income. I was wrong. Like really wrong. Its a scam! False lead after false lead. Leads are fake. Leave voicemails messages and emails for the clients and no results. Ive payed 100s of dollars for what? Absolutely nothing. Dont waste your time or your money. **************** is a joke as well. I cant believe they are an actual business.

  They are scamming new business that are looking for leads to get work but send bogus leads. I was looking for trim work because my business was a finish ********* and I was receiving leads for bathroom problems and yard work. I tried to contact them but never was able to get anyone on the phone. I was told during the initial signup that I would have an expert in my corner that would help me with any of my needs related to my business. Never got any expert to contact me and when I tried calling them to let them know they were sending me bogus leads, which I was being billed for, no one return my call. In left many calls with no response. They finally started to withdraw money from my account that I set up with them through my local bank and finally had to contact the bank that they were scamming me so I was told to put a stop payment towards the company and had to change my credit card to totally stop them from withdrawing more funds. I called several times and told them to discontinue my membership. I never heard back from them. Now I received a message from them that they are turning the $400.00 dollar they say I owe them over to a collection agency. I never opened any leads they sent me except for the first three which were bogus leads.

  I purchased a new ceiling fan and a light fixture from ****** and purchased the installation services, which ****** outsources to Angie's List. The service professional arrived and started to put together the fan and light fixture. He began sneezing and coughing badly. He was in my house about 3 hours spreading germs. He shouldn't have come to complete the service because he was clearly sick. I tried to stay in another room to avoid him. I sprayed ***** after he left, but 3 days later I got COVID. I contacted Angie's list to let them know the situation. That's all they said was that they were sorry but this rarely happens. Based on their response, I highly doubt they contacted this service professional to ask him to take a COVID test. Based on my experience, I feel that Angie's list doesn't care about their customers, they only care about making money!! Be aware that service professionals from Angie's list will come to your house sick!!

  They are a bunch of scam artists that have bogus leads for contractors.they charged me so much money and gave me nothing in return but headaches.please dont sign up with them if your a contractor the lady whom signed me up lied to me and said I was paying $******* for a years worth of leads a minimum of 20 leads per month and it was all a lie.they said it was a one time payment and charged me ******* for the next four months without my consent I contacted them and they said if I wanted to cancel my contract it would be an additional ***** dollars more.**** these people I hope they all go to h***
