WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CAPITAL ONE. In business to ***** its customer base.Worst ********************** card company I have ever dealt with. I had two Capital One (C1) credit cards, and had been a customer since 2017. My ********************** is excellent (E-754, T-756), as was my payment history. Today (11/2/22) I closed both of my accounts because I am extremely dissatisfied with C1's abhorrent excuse for what they call customer service.I customarily pay my full balance on credit cards to avoid interest charges. Every other credit card I own either gives customers until midnight on the due date or, if the cutoff is earlier, the interest charges are AUTOMATICALLY reversed. That is NOT the case with Capital One.Last month, on top of my automatic minimum payment, I paid the remaining $890.00 balance on the due date. However, C1 has an 8pm ET cutoff for payment, giving west-coast customer's a shorter window to make payments. When the system advised that my payment was considered late, I called C1 to make sure the interest charges would be reversed. After an hour on the phone, I was transferred to a supervisor. He advised me that C1 realizes their current policy is unfair to customers on the west coast and that, due to customer complaints, a policy change is planned for the near future. He also informed me that I had a pretty good chance of having the charges reversed because of my account standing and the fact that the minimum due was paid before the cut-off, and only my additional payment was submitted afterward. However, nothing could be done until and if the charges appeared on my next statement.I called back today and another supervisor informed that, regardless of having been with them for 5+ years, and in spite of the policy change in the near future, they would not reverse the interest charges. When I asked to escalate my complaint, he said I would have to do that via snail-mail. Isn't THAT convenient for C1? This company is NOT customer-centered. They encourage custo

I applied for Capital One Savor credit card with the 0% intro promotion for opening the account for 15 months. However, after 9 months of using the card I saw interest charges. I quickly called capital one to resolve this. However, never heard back, called again in two weeks and still no answer. They never reviewed my case. So I asked the rep to close the account and she didnt tell me my final payment. I cleared my balance and then all of a sudden a week later I was charged interest again. I had to wait for a month to get an answer stating my promotion was for 9 months. They ******* call and only promise to call in 10 business days. The reps ******* allow me to talk to a manager to resolve this issue. Basically, Capital gave me false promotions and charged me interest without notifying me the end period of the promotion. The app or the website has no where to tell you when your promotions end. Also the worst customer service for lying to me and not calling back every-time I had to call back. I have two more accounts with them which I will close them and was about to buy a car with their auto loan program, which I will refrain from. I need help on getting my interest payments back.

I attempted over the course of 4 days to unsuccessfully get a hold of the customer service agent by phone. I kept receiving the message that their system was down, call back again. For the last 3 days, when I finally got an agent on the phone, they continue to disconnect the call immediately. I know they answered my phone call, because it shifted from the terrible on hold music to the sound of agents in the background on their headsets with other callers. I've even tried to talking right away as soon as I hear that noise, asking them not to hang up and telling them who I am, but then the calls are immediately disconnected still. I have been unable to get a hold of anyone at the company. I have even tried emailing the company. What is ironic is that just a couple weeks ago, this is what Capital One issued as a press statement: "Founder-led by Chairman and Chief ************************************************** we believe that innovation is powered by perspective and that teamwork and respect for each other lead to superior results. Across the company, we're building customer experiences that are real-time and intelligent.Oct 21, 2022"So I'm just curious, are these exceptional results exclusive of any customer service experience we may have with Capital One Auto finance? Because if the real time and intelligent experience is to disconnect the call with the customer on the line, I'm not sure that the chairman and CEO has any idea what is going on in his company. In fact, it sounds kind of like the emperor has no clothes story. Maybe for some reason he believes the company is providing exceptional service because his board and Department presidents are gaslighting him. I don't know. All I know is that I have a very important matter to speak with Capital One Auto Finance regarding a Loan in which they have a direct financial interest, and no one there seems interested in assisting me.

This is probably one of the worse experience I have had with auto buying. I used Capital One Auto Finance to purchase an E400 at Carmax on Sept 16th 2022. I returned the vehicle as it had a lot of issues and so I used the 30 day money back guarantee that Carmax had. I returned on Sept 25th. So effectively, this shield be a closed account but unfortunately someone dropped the ball between Carmax and Capital One and it is still active and showing as requiring payment. After much back and forth with Capital One asking for proof that Carmax returned the funds, it still remains active. Carmax apparently paid it on Oct 10th but for whatever reason it is still active. I have spoken with 5 different Capital One people and still no one can figure this out. Now they are asking for a title but no one should have it but the dealership. The representatives who I spoke to claim its close but still late. How can a close account be currently late? When I log in to my account its still there as active. I am getting phone calls and emails stating Im late. This vehicle was returned on Sept 25th and it is now over 30 days. I am concerned that this will affect my credit and these representatives are clueless and no aptitude to realize the gravity of a negative **** on credit reports. They are quick to ask for payment but slow to response to concerns and no accountability. I just need this corrected so it doesnt reflect on my credit.

This company continues to send me a bill, long after I have paid and cancelled my card. As a result, I believe my credit score has dropped with my current Citi Card. Out of five stars I give you zero.

I'm warning you, don't try to open an account on line, It could take three hours. That's what happen to me a few days ago. I had to take a pill to calm down after speaking to customer service. They keep putting you on hold, and play that stinky music. Oh, and by the way, if you don't have a cell phone you can't open an account with them, isn't that crazy.

Capital one lures young credit card users with the appeal of building credit. They offer bogus cash rewards etc. but then charge massive interest fees sometimes as large as the minimum payment. Youre almost better off pawning something or getting a payday loan. When you pay off your card (like I do) they reach out with constant spam and texts and increase your limit. Im switching to ******. At least Ill get something back. Dont waste your time or money.

Will not release my check in a full manner. It from an employer who wrote a check instead of ACH Deposit. Instead of releasing my funds once my check cleared they chose to hold my funds which is my money not the banks for 4 days. Ridiculous measure and told me my account is to new to override. Ive been with them for 6 months. Never again exactly why big bank is losing business.

I am a new customer and got two ********************** cards with them. I made a mistake of putting the wrong bank account number for a payment, but called them, and paid them before the due date in full with my debit card. They took the payments and closed the accounts immediately. I requested to speak to a supervisor, and they said all of their managers refused to speak to me. I was not rude, or raising my voice, I just wanted to share my side of their story, but they were extremely rude. I will not do business with them even if they pay me.
