Usually really good but lately been alot of bait and switch see a price on something and th3n they say something is wrong and charge over that sticker price. Called corporate then said they didn't care and have instore fix it and they won't pr I wouldn't of called corporate but neither will do anything about itAdvance Auto Parts

Eddie and Shawn at the ******* ** ****** ***** store are amazing! I came in to return some parts from the advance auto store on ******** ** ** ***** as I was furious to find they sold me used parts and Eddie and Shawn were so patient and understanding they helped me get exactly what I needed and they showed true compassion and care for my situation! 1 starBought directional/window washer switch from advance. They said they had one at this store so I drove 25+ miles to pick it up. The man in charge at the time exceptional employee handled situation right asked if I could actually see the part. Took it out of the box showed it to me and it was the right part. He told me that I could return it if I did not use it because I was not sure whether or not it was the part I needed. As it turned out it was not the part I needed so I did not even install it so when I went to return it the manager of the store, Alex said no it’s electrical. You cannot return it got it a big argument he handled it the wrong way got loud And became very disruptive. . I told him if I didn’t get to see what was inside the box I would never bought it for all I know there could’ve been a Barbie doll inside that box. Again I don’t know how they can sell you a item if they can’t prove to you it’ works also it’s what’s you want inside the box and you can return it it you never use it! Very unprofessional will never shop at one of these stores again and never recommend anyone else too.Review fromSmith J

Never again will I walk into an advanced auto parts I went to 3 different stores In the **** ***** and *** ********** area every employee smelled like weed 3 different stores and everybody smelled like weed is it that they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for stoners to get me auto partsAdvance Auto Parts

This is a review of AAP in general, corporate/company, not for the local stores. Bought a lifetime warranty alternator and two years later it failed to charge, leaving me stranded. An expensive tow home and return to the store showed the alternator was bad on their tester. But..., they no longer have an alternator for my vehicle (older Mercedes diesel) in their system. So..., they refunded me. But the refund went to a card that is no longer valid and it did not go to my new card number (same bank/account, different card number). Repeated calls to corporate and they claim that it can take 3 months to come back to them (in this day of computerized ACH's and such, this is complete bollocks!), then they'll refund me in another way. So I'm out the money for this "lifetime" (made in China rebuild, so "lifetime" just means the lifetime of the crappy rebuild) AND have to fork out ANOTHER $200 for one from ****. The manager at my bank wrote a letter that they've checked my account and it has had no transfers, returns, etc., in the amount that Advance claims they refunded. Advance corporate doesn't care, they're just glad that they got my money and will never refund me. I've shifted to buying my own and parts for customers vehicles from other sources now.Advance Auto Parts

Until we have the credit back from the bank (********** ****** *****) we cannot issue a check for the refund. Me and my dad purchased a battery from the *** **** location in December 2021 before the location closed recently. The purchase was made in cash. The warranty to my battery is until 2024. The battery was purchased under my father’s perks number and since he has passed away. I went to advanced auto parts in *** **** and they said they couldn’t help me. After about 40 minutes on the phone with the customer service they said it wasn’t transferable. I was with my father at time of purchase and deserve the warranty still left to replace the batteryAdvance Auto Parts

warranty begins the day you purchase the battery and expires at the end
of the warranty period printed on your original receipt and Order
Confirmation email, or when you sell your vehicle, whichever occurs
first. This warranty cannot be transferred to anyone at any time.

i ordered a part online and it turned out to be used! no location wanted to return the part for me. called corporate and they said “we stand behind our teammates and will not force anyone to return the product” since when do they stand behind their employees? * ****** *** ******* *** *** ***** *** *** ********** **** ****** ***** ***** ** ** * ***** ***** *** ** ******* *** * ****** ** ** *** **** *** ******* ** ****** ****** ***** ******* *** ******* ** ******** ******** **** **** ** ** ***** ********* ********** *** ******* *** ***** ********* ******** ** *** * ******** ******* *********** *** **** ****** ****** ***** *** ******* ** ** *** ***** **** *** ***** ****** ********** *** ***** *** ********** now i’m stuck with somebody’s crusty old o2 sensor because the associate who returned the item in the first place never checked to even see if it was a new return!!! very disappointed all around with advance auto parts and will NEVER shop there again! i currently am employed by a company who does DAILY BUSINESS with advance and the company has decided as well to NOT SHOP THERE EITHER. not only did they lose some customers who spend hundreds of dollars there every week combined but also a very large commercial account. very disappointed in all who i’ve had to deal with in the company especially the corporate associate and his manager who said they refused to help me.Advance Auto Parts

I purchased a starter from a young lady at the counter. We both searched on the screen and found my identical starter. I gave her the model number she entered it in and said OK you are right that is the correct one. After bringing it home and installing it, although the starter worked, it would not start the car immediately. Had to take it to ****** for a factory starter( like the starter it showed on the computer screen at Advanced Auto Parts. Almost $400 in today’s economy is highway robbery.Advance Auto Parts
