The place need to be shut down. Cannot keep store hours insistent. One day they suddenly close down from ,1 to 2 pm If they cannot keep enough staffing they shouldsbjtfownco.pletely My eye glasses poor quallity . place is awful, they make you order glasses from them give you a promise date and then don't fulfill the promise and say they are waiting on shipping. Why give a promise date if you're relying on ********** going on 2 weeks now of waiting. I could have ordered glasses elsewhere and already had them. Never again.MyEyeDr

Terrible service scheduling appointments. Two years ago (after having been a patient there for 7 years), I called to get an emergency appointment. They could "get me in" in almost 3 months. I went somewhere else. I recently decided to give them another shot because they are more convenient location-wise. Set up an appointment. They canceled and rescheduled 2.5 weeks out. Day of appointment, they called to again cancel. Could reschedule in 2.5 weeks. Since I was at that point running out of contacts, I asked for a supply (free) to hold me over until the appointment date. Manager said nope. So I'm back to a less convenient option where they actually keep appointments and work with you. I DO NOT recommend them.MyEyeDr

On 30 Apr 25 called Yorktown VA office bc I lost my glasses and needed a replacement. I was told that I needed to come in & select a new frame and that it would be 1/2 price. I specifically inquired if it was for any frame and was told yes. So I went in, selected new frames ($99, same cost as the glasses I purchased previously) bc the assistant at the desk said that the person I spoke to was new and didnt know the policy. I also asked for transitional lenses and the assistant entered the order in her system and told me theyd send me a message for p/u. I paid for them and left. Got a message for p/u and went in today. The assistant gave me glasses that were from original order, not the one I came in and ordered on 30 Apr, and not transition lenses. All she could say was Oh, I dont know what happened. I remember putting in your order. This was not satisfactory but Im traveling and need the glassses now. Another person offered for me to find the frames and Id take this one until those came in, but I couldnt find the lenses Id ordered on 30 Apr that were $99.MyEyeDr

My wife and I have coming to the ********* NC shop for 3 years. ***** has been a joy to us.She's knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My new glasses kept sliding down my nose until she installed silicone nose pads. No more slipping! Dr. *** is all of the above. Their entire staff is also.MyEyeDr

Im extremely disappointed with my recent experience at MyEyeDr on ****** ** in ********, **. I showed up on time for my 9 a.m. appointment, only to be completely ignored by the optometrist on duty. I told her I had a confirmed appointment, even tried to show her the proof, but she didnt even acknowledge me. She dismissed me without a second thought, saying someone else was coming in and then just walked away.When the second doctor showed up late, I once again explained that I had a 9 a.m. appointment. She barely looked at me and said it wasnt with her, then immediately took another patient instead. Ive never felt so invisible and unimportant. It was humiliating.Eventually, a gentleman stepped in and figured out the problem apparently the online system let me book with a doctor who no longer works there. I get that technical glitches can happen, but the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. No one took ownership, no one apologized, and the lack of basic courtesy was shocking. I've never experienced such poor customer service, and I walked out feeling disrespected and like I didnt matter at all.MyEyeDr

For two weeks Ive been dealing with the office on ******* Highway in ******** *****. The manager there is rude and had me in tears today.Last week they had gotten my lens wrong it was too thick (Right lens) and I asked her why she didnt tell me that it would be so thick and I had to pay another hundred dollars for her to resend the prescription in to make another set of glasses. I am legally blind in my left eye and when I went there the first time they had the left lens right like it was supposed to be when I went there today It was the same prescription as the right. I could not see out of them. It was throwing me off and making me dizzy & I was trying to explain this to her. She was cutting me off like I was an *********** would not listen to me. She raised her voice in returned I raised mine I started crying and shaking. she would not listen to me Now Im without glasses. My insurance is not the best and I think that I was shortened at least $50 on what I had in a refund which was CareCredit, which is not posted yet.I call my insurance and they said that I would have to wait 5 to 7 days to see if my eye doctor would return what money they spent. It will not cover another eye exam .I got my prescription online.I had been with TSO that was there before for many years never had an issue today I am physically and mentally sick over this. She did not have to talk down to me like I was stupid. I was trying to explain to her you messed up the left lens of these glasses were supposed to be clear like it was last week. Why did yall put the same prescription on both sides of the glasses and she kept raising her voice and said this is what the doctor ordered and I said ***** stuck with no glasses and Im sitting here still shaking. All I needed was my glasses and I trusted them to get this right I will never do business with yall. One pair of glasses, $600 and thats with insuranceMyEyeDr

On March 3, 2025. I picked up new glasses. At that time, my viewing area for computers appeared to be blurred. I was advised to take them home for a week, if not better, then come back and they would make an adjustment. A week later I went back and explained to a different technician that the lenses needed to be adjusted. She took measurements and stated that she could see that the progressive area was a little too high. I saw her enter some information into the computer and she stated that the lenses would be back in approximately two weeks. On Wednesday, March 19th I called the office for a status on the delivery of the lenses. The receptionist advised that it was noted in the computer that I had picked them up on March 3rd. I told her that was impossible because I would be the only one picking up my lenses. When I realized she was talking about glasses instead of lenses, I corrected her. I asked for the Manager and was advised she wasnt at that location so **** (the technician) took the call. I explained to him what was happening. He apologized, but said that it didn't appear that I ordered new lenses. I told him I would be there around 12:30 and he promised to have an answer for me about what happened. When I arrived, I was advised that the lenses were never ordered and he couldnt tell me why. I requested a full refund, but was told they don't give refunds even though it hadnt been 30 days. He re-measured me and ordered the lenses on an expedited basis. I know I will never receive the truth about the lenses not being ordered. I also made a complaint with my eye insurance company, who called and spoke with someone at MyEyeDr. She confirmed the no refund policy and that the glasses should be back by Friday, March 28th. They were back on March 28th as promised. My issue is they are not being honest and not disclosing the reason, which I am sure they are aware. I am done with this company because of such dishonesty.MyEyeDr

Very bad prescriptions from a doctor my glasses were made wrong after I received I went back to the office in ******** Florida at the desk they refer me to a gentleman were I summit my complaint that my right eye was lower than my left eye he asked me for my glasses then he to bend my glasses frame defacing the original form still the problem continues Ill never go back to that place again.MyEyeDr

If i could id give this place a ZERO STAR REVIEW. I was given the complete wrong prescription after my exam, i was told they will not recheck me only if i paid out of pocket for another eye exam for $144 then i would be able to be seen by the doctor. My local office is an absolute joke! The employees are very rude and very unhelpful!! Ive dealt with a lot just for one pair of glasses that in return because i bought glasses elsewhere. I will never be returning here. They try to blame insurance for everything when in reality its myeyedrs doing. I had my lenses remade after ordering glasses here , the remakes came in and i went to pick them up, after multiple headaches and not being able to see , my insurance called my local office and was told that Oh! here remakes are here and ready to be picked up But told me the glasses that i already picked up were my remakes and even the remakes are still incorrect!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!!! Go some wheres else!MyEyeDr
