      I ordered my mom glasses on 01/05/2023 I m still waiting for her glasses to come I brought her own frames we paid 270 dollars for lenses every time we call they tells us different answers and now they told me that they have lost or her frames have been broken or lost please help me out to get this issue resolved

      My optometrist for nearly 30 years, and his staff, were consistently a pleasure.
      That experience quickly went south when the business changed to MyEyeDoctor. My last annual eye exam resulted in five...yes 5...returns of new eyeglasses because I simply didn't see clearly with them. Poor quality lenses from their eyeglass laboratory. I had Varilux progressive lenses for at least 25 years but each of the new lenses were just out of whack. Throughout the process the staff was courteous and apologetic.
      I have obviously chosen not to continue doing business there. My previous doctor has since retired. I do not trust their eyeglass laboratory to provide quality lenses, and do not want to repeat the lengthy process for a new prescription.

      I was told that all I had was an inflammation on my eyelid which in fact was basal cell skin cancer that has to be removed and eyelid reconstructed! I can't believe that Dr. M******* didn't know or tell me that I should go to an M.D. How many more people will be misdiagnosed?

      myeyedr Aberdeen, MD location caused an unjustified experience for my aunt. On Tuesday, 2/21/23 I took my aunt to pick up her glasses. The representative that fitted my aunt for her lenses was very pleasant and admitted to ordering incorrect tint. There was also a concern because my aunt could not see from the lenses that came in for pick up. She left myeyedr very uncomfortable with waiting for another set of lenses and not confident that the new set would be correct. After checking with her primary O.D, she was advised to pick up her frames. On 2/23/23 we returned to myeyedr. When asked to receive a credit to her account, the customer experienced changed drastically. My aunt is 91 years old with hearing challenges, which cause her to speak loudly. She explained the problem with the lenses and requested her credit card be credited. The manager, Caitlin, was called to the front to issue a refund. As I listened to my aunt explain the situation, Caitlin was abrupt, rude and unjustly condescending. She refused to consider a refund due to 3rd party affiliation. As we were leaving, I asked, very calmly, for proof of the transaction that my aunt received her frames and left the lenses with myeyedr. Caitlin stated there was no transaction and gave me a copy of a purchase receipt. She refused to note that the lenses were returned and indicated her manager would have to handle it. I asked for her manager's info and she refused to provide any contact. It is sad to watch someone being treated disrespectfully. It is perplexing to be confronted with a poor customer experience with all the ADA training that is available in the workplace.

      Ever since my local eye doctor switched to MyEyeDr - the quality of my eyewear (lenses) has been awful, the pricing is inexplicable by the staff (including wrong quotes that result in further billing later), and absolutely deplorable service when speaking with the billing department. I will no longer go to the local eye doctor that I am very happy with (doctor and reception) because if MyEyeDr.
      I certainly hope that other local doctors offices are not making the switch to this company. I will not use a doctor that is affiliated.

      I’m a bit baffled, there are two people sitting at reception but you can only make appt online, check if glasses came in online so why the deadweight. The doc in Kingsland seems to rush through diagnosis, I always end up at can’t see out of no.1 and number 2, glasses while somewhat adequate never seem perfect. Only get reading as bifocal not worth the cost for adequate only prescription, Not truly a bad review but seems there could be better

      I had a problem with getting my grandsons glasses in a timely manner, but upper management went out of their way to make sure my grandson received his glasses. I appreciate all the effort that were made on oh my grandsons behalf.

      This place is so unprofessional I wasn’t treated right I guess my glasses was never sent back off they kept saying it my insurance I never had a problem before I asked for a refund my glasses supposed to have come back January 18 no glasses they supposed to have been sent off January 3 so it been a whole month these peoples are unorganized I don’t advise no one to deal with them I am so disappointed ??

      I scheduled my appointment online with the Virginia Avenue, Harrisonburg, VA branch. I wish to note that this is a very convenient feature that My Eye Dr offers. I made my appointment for January 24. When my appointment date arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and courteous. I did not have a long wait time -- maybe four minutes. During the exam, Dr. Welch explained each procedure, and was very informative and treated me with respect. She asked me if I had any questions before she left and had me choose my frames, which was great. Shula was nice and helpful with helping me to choose the appropriate frames for my face. (I chose two that I was very happy with). Thank you, My Eye Dr, for treating me with respect, dignity -- and making my experience an all around pleasant one. A+
