April 28, one of the inspectors came to my home and showed me all this information and he came up with ********** I was believing all of this. I gave him a check in the amount of $*******. I had until May 3, 2023 to cancel this. I called May 1, 2023 to cancel this and he tried to strong arm me. I was informed that I needed to sign and send the documents back. A week later my check was cashed. I called and was informed that the check was coming from cooperate. I spoke to a unit manager and tried to inform me that the check was cashed immediately. They was suppose to call me with a tracking number. I was never informed that the check was coming. I received the check ***** and it was dated last Friday.

Charles *****, Mark *****, and Nathan ******* worked tirelessly on my foundation repair. They were not shy about jumping into opened area and working with their hands or equipment. When the job was complete it was an excellent clean up, straw and grass seen. Thank you gentlemen for a job well done.

Hired to do foundation work and requested a engineer to sign off of the work. Was never shown the engineer report and they did not do the recommended work by the engineer. This cost me the sell of my home: the work recommended was out of there scope so they continued with what they had first suggested.

Very Disappointed.I was so excited to have AquaGuard come to our property to repair a water damaged area. I heard really good reviews and advertisements. Our experience was not good. We paid over $5000.00 dollars to have a problem fixed. Much to our chagrin, the problem was not the elaborate design that was recommended to us. The simple water problem were the gutters. My big disappointment is no one responded to our concerns, no one responded to the letters written and no one came to ensure the job was done right. We didn't get a survey, and no one responded to the messages left with the administrative staff. So much more happened with our project that was disappointing, but I will stop here.I will NOT use AquaGuard in Marietta ever again.

I hired Ohio Basement Authority to encapsulate my crawl space, but what should have been a simple project turned into a disastrous experience. The crew showed up and only completed a portion of the work, leaving debris scattered all over my property. It took multiple phone calls and over a week of waiting before they finally returned to continue the job.
When they did show up, they were late, arriving in the afternoon instead of the scheduled morning slot. To make matters worse, they let themselves onto my property, vandalized my house and deck, and left without returning any of my phone calls. I have been extremely disappointed in the way Jeremy and Travis have handled this situation.
When I initially asked for their insurance information, they refused to provide it, and instead promised to "make it right." Unfortunately, they have since ghosted me, leaving me with an incomplete project and out nearly ******* I have been left feeling frustrated and betrayed by a company that I initially trusted to improve my home.
I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Ohio Basement Authority to anyone. If you are considering hiring them, I would urge you to proceed with extreme caution. Don't make the same mistake I did; save yourself the headache and find a more reliable and professional company to work with.

I had an experience with this company on which a representative came to my address did an inspection, wrote up a proposal based on his inspection. I asked for a copy of proposal and was promised I would get a copy by email. Have not heard anything and even left my review on their reply asking for my review. I explained that I had not received anything and the company to date still has not reached out to me for over 4 days. Very disappointed in company that represents itself as a professional business. This is one company I will not be doing business with.

I'm having issues with my foundation. A friend recommended AFS so I made an appointment with a sales to come out for a free evaluation of the problem. He was very nice and explained that they could fix it but that a different crew in their construction dept would have to come out and look at a section of the repair. He left me his card and said someone would be in touch with me in a few days. Two weeks went by and I didn't hear from anyone. I called the salesman and left a message. No reply n 5 days. The following week I emailed the main location. They sent a crew out in a few days. The crew went under the house and just left without a word. The head guy texted me and said they had all they need. I requested a quote, he said ok. It as been more than a month since I've heard anything from anybody!! I'm searching for a different company but wanted to make people aware of their poor business practices. I read the attached reviews and I I don't know how they have an A+ rating. **** *** *** **** ***** **********

Had FSM out to put in some jacks, beams and cookies. Ended up needing warranty work due to jacks not being level, no gravel used for cookies and broken cookie.
After warranty work was done, had issues re inspected and find out the jacks are still unlevel, and big old cookie was left behind, all my plastic under home has been cut up and destroyed, and the the jacks.that needed replaced were not replaced as they are marked by paint marker from myself.
I want the work done right and correctly, or I want a refund before I escalate this any further.

Please please please hire a structural engineer consultant prior to contacting JES. You will be happy that you did. I contacted JES for some abnormalities I was seeing in my floors and drywall. They sent an alleged" structural engineer over to assess the situation. The guy that came over was a straight salesman, and not just a salesman, but a highly dishonest salesman. Unfortunately, there is a character limit for this review so I can't get into all of the issues. But after this guy told me that my house was in horrible shape and had major foundation issues, he sits you at a table for a 45-minute sales pitch about why you need to hire their company. The wife and I thanked him for his time and informed him that we needed some time to digest the $********* bombshell he just dropped on us. The guy became very angry and frustrated that we would not write him a check right there and then. He even went as far as asking us how much money we had, and where we were thinking of getting $*** to complete the job. He became so frustrated that he slammed his little notebook down on my table. The guy had a story for everything. He said he was part owner of JES. He said that he was a licensed structural engineer and that he teaches the other employees at JES on how to become structural engineers. Upon looking up their professional licenses, there is no record in DC or VA of this guy ever having a structural engineering license through the state. When you look up on JES's website, you can see their list of employees. This guy's job title is "site inspector", not a structural engineer. Upon contacting 3 other structural engineering consulting firms, they advised us that this is a common issue in the foundation repair industry. The consultants gave us a completely different outline of what our problem/issues are. And when I say completely different, I mean completely different. Please do not let these guys pressure you into signing $****** checks.
