5 stars****** completed the annual inspection of my property this year. He was very professional and answered my questions in detail. Aquaguard has been taking care of our home (which is the second house from a neighborhood creek which periodically overflows) for about 20 years. The company didn't come close to what they advertise with the work materials and procedure of the work. (I even had the work crew say that they don't do it the way you see it on the website and in the marketing materials we received when we first signed on). Well that was unfortunate because that is how the job was sold to us! I am sorry but that is called false advertising.
The only item in our whole crawl space encapsulation that was worth any expense was the two dehumidifiers; other than that the work materials used were not up to par and limited in how they installed it all. The workmanship was awful and didn't come close to demonstrating knowledge of the work and application use for the materials.
We spent so much money on this job and the results were insulting. I really felt they were hoping 'out of sight out of mind' approach. They were hoping we didn't pay attention and the professionalism was so lacking. It was the best "lip service" I have ever experienced. The county inspector was a waste of time, he didn't even go in the crawl spaces to inspect. We pointed out things and questioned and he really could care less. He spent more time telling us he can't wait until he retires this year. .... Funny thing in our contract we paid for a third party inspection ? and were already charged the ******* for the yearly inspection, which I can't trust it will happen if they can't even finish the job correctly.
We look over 6days off of work to meet with them and their lame attempts to fix some things to try and satisfy our dissatisfaction. One time the two man crew came in their big box JES truck and there was literally no materials in the truck. They weren't even sure what they were there for......we had them write out a list that we wanted to have done to satisfy us enough and call this done....and we never saw them again. This is after we talked with the Project Manager, certified field engineer and project supervisor.
Very disappointed.

5 stars******* and ****** with AquaGuard did a fantastic job. We had a area under our driveway that washed out and they came out to use foam injection to fill in the void. Both men were not only professional but very friendly. Highly recommend this company to anyone needing their services.Review fromMark R

I called Foundation Systems of Michigan on 9/16/2022. I told the woman on the phone that I was looking for a quote on installation of a water powered back up sump pump system. The woman said that someone could come out to my home on Monday, 9/19/2022. The representative came promptly on the scheduled time and looked over my situation. He then started talking to me about a battery powered back up sump pump system for my home. Not even what I was asking for someone to do. The rep. proceeded to tell me that their company does not even install water powered back up sump pump systems. I then asked him why hadn't the woman I had talked to on the phone tell me that they do not install the system that I wanted installed on my home? His response was that they just want the representative to get his foot in the door and then they can go from there. Besides just being wrong, isn't there an issue of ethics involved here? I will never personally deal with this company ever again. Beware!Groundworks, LLC

We had ******************* come out from this company for a quote and I cant even begin to express how knowledgeable and thorough his review of our crawl space and exterior was. We will definitely be utilizing this company in the future for our crawl space needs. They are locally owned and have options from basic water control to extensive encapsulated crawl spaces. Thank you so much and we look forward to working with you in the future as we move forward with our plans. I would highly recommend this company for any of your basement or crawl space needs!!! AFS came in and did a drainage system and wall seal in our furnished basement and garage. They were great, respectful to us & our belongings. Finished the entire setup, system installation and clean up in 8hrs. Jackson ** Micah and Jackson we're wonderful, they were professional, courteous and worked continuously while here. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Lee at the main office was diligent with following up with us & getting answers for any questions we had. Jacob did our consult and handled our sales contract, not only did he come initially for an assessment but we asked him to come out again to discuss further details and he was here the same day. They were able to schedule us 5 days later. We were very happy overall.Groundworks, LLC
