On two separate occasions I have asked Groundworks to please cancel my appointment with them and also to pleas stop calling/texting me. The sales rep that came to my house has kept asking to set up my appointment and will not stop texting me. I feel like asking for them to stop once should be enough for a company who constantly talks about their high *** rating.

Terrible foundation company who doesn't back up their work. I paid them about $*** to stabilize a basement wall and a retaining wall. Both walls continued to shift. They came up with excuse after excuse trying to say their work and products were not the cause of the instability. I hired them to do a specific job and that work didn't fix the problem. I had to hire competing companies to come out and do the job correctly. Their communication is subpar as well along with cancelling appointments on the very day they were supposed to arrive.Groundworks, LLC

5 starsI recently had my crawl space encapsulated, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Miguel **, Jasmany *., and Mike *. did an outstanding job. They were professional, efficient, and respectful of my home. The project was completed quickly, and they made sure everything was cleaned up afterward — even my backyard was spotless. 4 starsThe work crew led by Jaid Long came in to correct water leakage through the foundation walls. His crew did the demolishion on several areas of dry wall and worked up the flooring and installed a drain system. While there they also discovered the foundation was settling and quoted correcting it. By the end of the second day they were finished.
I have only two concerns - one, the join between the new concrete and the original is not smooth, there are ridges, dips, and pockets. These are significant enough that someone in high heels will find them and possibly twist and ankle. Two, when they left, they removed all of their equipment by did not vacuum or sweep up the floor. Walking across it there was a noticeable crunch, so I swept and wound up with about two heaping handfulls of of dust.
I contacted the office and they promised to send someone out to correct the rough spots in the join, but to-date I have not had anyone stop by.
Also to date I have not received and invoice marked paid.Review fromMolly A

5 starsMountain Valley Foundation Services out of Greenville was amazing! From our starting visit with Travis who identified how our house was not being supported by our current piers and designed a repair plan to scheduling and installation, this company is first rate. So much communication beforehand on what to expect, confirming their dates of service, and showing up each day! Our crew of two, Cory and Scotty, did such thorough and amazing work. They let me know each morning and evening where they were in the process, called to let me know when they were on their way, checked in to see what questions I had and answered them thoroughly and knowledgeably , and were even sweet enough to honk each day as they left in their box truck, to the delight of my kiddos. I cannot recommend them enough! If you ever need to have crawl space work done (supports and vapor barrier as we did) or anything else, call Mountain Valley and ask for Cory and Scotty and Travis...you won't regret it!Review fromSTEVEN R

5 starsWaterproofing and repairing our crawl space at our Lake House in Coldwater MI. Big job!! Crew had to replace joists, add a perimeter drain and sump pump and encapsulate the crawl space. Simon Watts was great to work with. was my partner through every step of the project. Professional, shared great information, focused on getting the job done correctly. 5 starsThe entire experience was fantastic from the time Seth came out to do an estimate and talked us through how the system worked to our amazing crew that worked diligently to ensure our job was complete. I cannot say enough good things about Cliff and his crew, Bill and Adam. They were very courteous, professional, communicated well and went above and beyond to ensure our project was something they could be proud of, not only doing an impeccable job but also ensured we were left with the knowledge needed to maintain our new system. I cannot thank everyone enough for making our once scary disgusting basement a new usable and pleasant space in our home.
