If I could give them zero stars for their customer service and support, I would.
I was contacted by Loancare and my insurance company that my homeowners insurance was not paid.
I do pay escrow for taxes and insurance, but the insurance department at Loancare insists that I only pay escrow for taxes and not insurance. Mindless to say that the people in escrow advise that I do, so I have Been going in circles and can’t seem to get the issue resolved while my insurance is about to expire. Very frustrating and poor serviceLoanCare, LLC

Worthless IT department - phone app login fails, cannot pay anything other than "one click payment" e.g. cannot pay additional principal, takes a long time to get a live rep & then they are always too stupid to understand how to relay any message to their IT department. I can't tell if everyone is inept or if they are purposely poor on service to discourage people from paying additional principal on a mortgage. Either way, it feels like I have no recourse.LoanCare, LLC

Setup my autopay and made the first payment in May only to learn that the autopay has NOT been working. It's now July 7th. I called, and they said it must be a glitch on their end. I made one-time payments for June and July. I haven't been docked a late fee yet but this is annoying. I tried to fix it online but there are issues with their website. I am paranoid now that I'm going to have payment issues and the last call I had with customer service will just fall into "the void". Guarantee Rate was the last servicer of this loan. I wish it were still with them.LoanCare, LLC

I called LoanCare to ask how I could pay down my loan quicker by paying bi-weekly. They told me that they don’t offer anyway to do that and that they would hold my payment until the end of the month before processing it (effectively making my payment a waste of time). I asked if there was anyway to make a bi-weekly payment work or how I could pay down the principal faster. They got frustrated and locked me out of my account. After I got off the phone with them I was locked out and haven’t been able to get in since. It’s been weeks. I’ve changed my password at least 10 times. I’ve gone through the “unlock my account” process at least 20 times. I have tried on different days of the week. I CANNOT get back into my account. I have tried every method they have on their website and nothing has worked. I am shocked at this even being possible and am worried about my loan. I have a 740+ credit score and have NEVER had a problem paying off my loans. This should be illegal if it isn’t already.LoanCare, LLC

Horrible experience. Every time i get on track BOOM!! Oh theres an escrow shortage in your account, your payments gonna go up. Went from 871 in 2014 to 1436 in 2022. Was paying 1314 in march so i decided to make an extra 80 dollars per month to the principal now that im getting my VA benefits and 2 months later the payment goes up to 1436 due to another escrow shortage. Seems like they move numbers to benefit them. Dont believe the "great company" robo reviews. Working on credit score to get the heck away from loancare.LoanCare, LLC

I have tried to make a payment today. Unfortunately due to legal reason I’m out of work and could only afford 1 month payment even though I’m two months behind. In a matter of an hour I was told that I need to make the two months payment at once to get a “repayment plan” and after 1 hour, 1 HOUR, my wife calls and the next person tells her that I’m not allowed to make a payment and that she can make a single month payment and do the loan modification. We have worked with these people for going on four years and have had nothing but trouble for the past two years post COVID. Why is it that every time we call we get a different story? Seriously? They claim that they care about their customers but the reviews here on BBB and our experience say otherwise! Beware ******** loans because Loancare is their subsidiary and you will be screwed! Our first house and first home loan and we got the worst! Next house we’ll use our bank! Do not fall for FHA’s with ******** or Loancare!!LoanCare, LLC

Dear Esteemed Representatives of ******** *** ********,
I, Joseph Barton, the rightful heir to the property in question, hereby write to address the ongoing foreclosure proceedings and to bring forth additional compelling concerns regarding the practices of ******** *** ********. As the affected party, I feel compelled to express my deep commitment to justice, equity, and the upholding of established legal principles. In this letter, I present undeniable evidence supporting our previous assertions, while also shedding light on the distressing matter of predatory lending techniques employed by ******** *** ******** and major discrepancies in the monthly payment information provided.
Firstly, I draw your attention to the explicit guidance outlined by the ********** ** ******** ******* **** in Circulars 26-20-12 and 26-21-07. These authoritative circulars serve as pillars of accountability, providing servicers with clear instructions on the appropriate actions to be taken following a CARES Act forbearance. I am deeply troubled by ******** *** ********'s insistence on a lump sum payment upon the conclusion of the forbearance period, which not only violates VA loan servicing policies but also disregards my rights as a borrower.
Moreover, these circulars explicitly state that servicers must thoroughly review loan files at least 30 days prior to the forbearance period's end. This critical requirement ensures that borrowers, like myself, have ample opportunity to explore viable loss mitigation options, enabling us to overcome financial difficulties and resume regular monthly mortgage payments. Unfortunately, I have experienced firsthand ******** *** ********'s failure to meet this vital obligation, revealing a concerning pattern of neglect that cannot be ignored.
Additionally, my investigation into ******** *** ********'s practices has uncovered alarming evidence of predatory lending techniques employed by your....this is only a layer of the onion.LoanCare, LLC
