1 starTerrible to work with. Applied for a loan modification over a year ago and received emails that it was approved. Statements continue to show I am in default and owe over $******. When I call in I'm told to disregard statements and that my account is in final closing status. This has been going on for eleven months. Additionally I received a payoff statement which indicates "fees and charges" but fails to break down what these are. When calling I am "bounced" around to rep after rep and am told these are related to the loan modification. Have asked for a break down but rep isn't able to explain what the charges are. Can not access site on-line and have repeatedly requested this but get the run-a-around. Terrible customer service and no follow up on questions.Review fromCarlos M

1 starThe worst customer experience I’ve ever had. EVER. If I could give 0 stars, I would. They took over my loan and failed to provide me with the necessary information. Then they hit my credit and I spent hours trying to reach any representative mostly to got attitude, hung up on, or confusion. No one had the accurate loan info, which took 4 reps to find, and yet still hit my credit and are still holding my account “past due” despite me having made my payments!
The worst experience I’ve ever had and I dread having to interact with their company. Just expect to lose a whole business day dealing with their nonsense and lack of customer empathy. Avoid if you can.Review fromestate of Diane D

1 starI had a horrible experience speaking to Peter yesterday. This is my sisters loan- (she passed away in March). I am the personal representative. Peter was extremely rude and condescending. I was told her was the supervisor. I am just trying to get the estate straight and having the hardest time getting answers from this company!
I did however speak to Mada today in the collections department and she was friendly and helpful, but yesterday made me so frustrated and hurt!Review fromJohn D

1 starThey will lock you out from making payments on their site which is already a hassle to even sign into in the first place… after you call to Pay wait on hold for hours then pay extra to pay by phone plus now it’s late so another fee … They bought my loan and it had no interest left because it was a fixed interest va loan…so they take nefarious actions to make a little money once you get sick of it theyll say you’re behind and we won’t accept your money unless your pay double… lol I sold my home and title company needed Lawers just to Make them accept the balance on the loan after they were paid, I made over **** profit over a month ago and they have it listed on my credit as the loan being in foreclosure and are reporting that I’m not current on payments…..WHAT!?
Another family is living there that bought the home from me… these people are absolute snakes don’t tell them your business because they will use it to try and steal your lane equity or make a quick buck off the gullible last punch in the stomach will be ruining your credit with lies …. Waiting for this dispute to be resolved they are the worst kind of business in the world stay far away from them!!!!Review fromChristina L

Horrible Service. They paid my homeowners insurance last year and the check was never cashed. They cancelled the check three months later and never said anything to me. Their payment history site STILL shows that the payment was made but no reference that it was refunded back to my account. I had no insurance for a year and wasn't aware and neither were they until this year when the polity would have expired. Now I had to get my Insu company to insure me, the rate was higher due to the gap, and LoanCare STILL hasn't paid the new policy. When I call I am told someone will call me back. I haven't received a call (Day 2) and when I call back they tell me I simply had to wait and that I can pay the insurance out of my pocket. I explained that they have my money I need to Pay with. They also JUST put their temporary insurance on my account.. after a year of no insurance and are charging me. Meanwhile my new "real" policy will expire in a few days and we are going into a holiday weekend. I am going to end up having to pay myself. I can't get anyone there to help me!!!!
After reading all the issues posted, especially those about their insurance payment practices, I think they need to be audited.LoanCare, LLC

THEY ARE THE WORST. I applied for a loan modification and partial claim as I was laid off due to Hurricane Ian. I was only behind 3 months. They offered me a package that would cost almost ******** loan repayment when i only needed assistance for 3 months. I am back to work now and just wanted to apply those 3 months to the backend of the load. Instead the want to DOUBLE my interest rate and add on 5 years to my mortgage for this payment. No remorse or respect. Hope they go under! Disgusted!!!LoanCare, LLC

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the worst company my husband and I have ever dealt with. Lakeview Loan, which is subserviced by Loan Care LLC, bought our loan on our house from a fantastic mortgage company in November 2022. Since then, it has been an absolute nightmare. If it made sense to refinance, we absolutely would. They don't set up your insurance escrow account, but fail to tell you that in their welcome letter. In February 23, we received a homeowners insurance cancellation policy and found out they had never opened the escrow and our policy was to be cancelled at the end of March. After two weeks, and 4 phone calls that lasted over 2 hours (we only talked for about 15 minutes- the rest was sitting on hold and being bounced around), we were told that they would pay our premium as a courtesy and that we would NOT have to pay it back in any way. They said they would ***** overnight it after the Escrow department finished opening an escrow account for us. 2 Weeks later, less than a week before the cancellation date, they said they apologized and that for some reason, it was taking a bit longer so we would have to make a personal payment (2 months) to insurance to avoid cancellation. We did that and almost a month later, we called again to ask how that ***** overnight payment was going. They said they had sent it weeks ago. Finally, May 1st the payment was sent and received. However, we went to our account information and now we are negative in our escrow account, our payment has went up from **** ** **** starting in July (our original payment with the best mortgage company was **** with our insurance) and now it says PMI isn't a feature to our loan but says were still paying it. We are going to have to call again which is going to be another 2 hours of phone calls to ask what on earth they think they are doing. We will be seeking counsel to find out what we can do to settle this and get away from these 2 awful companies. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANYLoanCare, LLC

Recently received a physical letter stating I needed to change my homeowner's insurance due to the insurance company's rating was too low. I complied and the new insurance agency provided everything to LoanCare. That letter was dated approximately March 26 and I did not receive it until April 10. So I could not get new insurance until April 11.
Fast forward to May 10, I receive another physical letter from Loan Care stating I am going to be charged for the period I did not have insurance on my home (April 6-April 10). When I call their insurance center, I am told they are required to send by mail the original request I received and that sometimes will take time for the recipient to get. Also they cannot clear the charge unless I provide proof of insurance. So even though I got new insurance coverage per their request once I received their communication, they are going to charge me for something I never got the chance to prevent. THIS IS A COMPLETELY UNFAIR PRACTICE. While I understand charging for not having coverage, the homeowners need ample advance notice so that we can actually have time to correct the issue.LoanCare, LLC
