      Every review I have read here is like dejavu. My husband and I have been going back in forth with Loan Care (Lakeview) for months now. We applied for a forbearance. We received notice that we should hold off payment until they had made their decision. We did this. We received paperwork saying that we did not get the forbearance, but we did qualify for a trial discounted rate. This was only a little over $300, but we could make that work. With this we had to up our interest. Frustrating but we got to do what we got to do. We agreed to this. About a week later we were served with foreclosure paperwork. We called again. We then were told that we had to make our mortgage current to qualify for the lowered rate. We borrowed and scrapped up the money… then we get a call that we cannot be current to qualify for the modification. We asked if that money could go towards future payments and they said no that they would need to refund us the money. We said ok. Well over 2 weeks later we had nothing. My husband called and was told it was still being processed. THEN our mortgage did not come out. I called and they said it was paid… we asked about the refund and were told they wouldn’t refund the money… we spoke with ***** and she was very confused about the whole thing. She has now put the request in for a refund… fingers crossed and praying all the prayers we are done with this fiasco!

      Had a fire. They took the insurance money and 2 months later still sending me payment statements and charging me late fees!! One department doesn't know what the other has done nor an they remedy the issue. I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life! Steer clear of Loancare/Lakeview loan services because they are a mess with your loan, you credit, and your hard earned money!

      Cannot change payment information or make separate payments online. Went online to change bank account and all went through, I thought. Next month of auto payment came and they tried to charge the old account and charged me overdraft fees for the money "not being there". I had to call and was told the change did not go through and had to make the change manually. They did not know why it did not work. THEN, when I changed insurance companies and went to make a single payment back to my escrow, I chose the bank account I wanted it to come out of and it still did not work. I actually took screen shots of this payment type being saved and successful from my online account. They continued to try and charge a different account where I incurred several overdraft fees from them again! I had to call again to make a manual payment, the customer service was rude and said it was my fault because there money wasn't there. She couldn't get out of her head long enough to understand that I said THEY still tried to take out of the wrong account. She said she couldn't see any of my saved accounts and I would have to talk to the website people. Start watching your accounts with this company very well people.

      0 stars. They keep changing the website, now making u use a “tap pay” button. But the button doesn’t schedule a payment. Not other option on the site to do so. They have an app that has not worked since I got this home about 4 years ago. Truly the worst company to deal with. Now I have to pay this by the 15th and watch they either over draft because the button doesn’t work or they will act like it works and try to charge some fee because they changed to this! Absolutely horrible

      I wish I can give them zero star. I have friends and family with different mortgage company and I never saw them dealing with what I have to deal with this company. They treat you like you nothing. Every time I call they would give me a different answer. I was told to pay an extra amount because of escrow shortage for my monthly payments not to go up. I paid that amount and still the payment went up. It is absolutely ridiculous that nothing can be done against this company.

      I have my previous loan with them tried doing a cash out. They stated my home had to be rented prior and they could help. After the home was rented they told me I made too much and could not get the loan. Then they came back and said I had to reserve 6 months before the loan can be approved. All this happen after I received the you are approved we just need to get the home appraisal to make sure is of value. Yes I had to dis out money then they told me NO the home is well above the asking amount

      If I could do zero stars I would. Covid hit us hard and I did everything I was supposed to. I applied for assistance April, informed the company and requested a forbearance and turned all the paperwork in. They kept sending me stuff saying I needed to turn the SAME paperwork in and whenever I called the representative would "find" the paperwork already uploaded and send it to a supervisor stating I didn't need to send anything in. Imagine my surprise when I get a foreclosure notice in August AFTER I just get off the phone informing them that the housing assistance agency had been waiting 2 months for a response from them that they somehow can't find. I have called monthly and a payment was sent in December and yet they have it as a suspended balance and my account is still in foreclosure but they never call me to tell me what steps to take. They escalate the call and a supervisor is supposed to call within 24 hours and it NEVER happens. I

      Absolutely zero stars. It has been nothing short of a nightmare dealing with this company. Our loan got sold to these people and although we've paid on time every month they put us in delinquency status and saying we owe them ******!!! We've been trying to work this out for over a year now and nothing is happening. Getting an attorney now.

      My loan was sold to LOANCARE in December of 2022 by *********** ****.Payments were to start in January of 2023. I received a letter from *********** **** stating NOTHING about my mortgage or loan payments would change.It is now February of 2023 and I am not able to pay them because they are charging me escrow which was not my original loan and additional $1201.70 per month. I have tried to pay the actual amount of the loan that is truly due to them, however, they will only take the full amount with the additional escrow.I therefore cannot pay them. I have called since 1/17 and spoken to *****, who said they did not have the proper documents from *********** ****.I spoke to *********** who says they do have the proper documents. ***** asks I call back by 1/23 and should be corrected.I call on 1/23, not corrected asked to call back in a week.I call back on 1/31 and speak to ***** who says he is sending a letter to the team who can delete the escrow and to wait a week.I ask if I can make a payment for the correct amt as the website won't allow it. He asks for my banking info and I said to him, how about a secured link? He hands me off to ********* who says a supervisor will call me back. No one calls me back.On 2/8 I call and speak to the escrow dept and talk to ****** and then to ***.They advise they have not received doc's from ***********.I once again call *********** who says they have sent documents and can only deal with LOANCARE. *** advises to call back in a week as it should be corrected by then but still pending documents from ***********. Today I go onto the LOANCARE website and it's still the same payment.They have a feature to contact them by email, there is a drop-down menu that allows you to request an escrow delete. I request that and upload all the documents they say they do not have, taxes paid to the town as well as insurance paid to the insurance co.A message pops up that I cannot request that because of the loan to value ratios. HORRIFYING!
