      The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with!!!!!! They made a mistake on a payment we sent in back in 2019 and so far have refused to make it right.

      A terrible company to deal with. Hurricane Ian caused damage to our property and our insurance company paid out for repairs but the funds have to be in escrow controlled by LoanCare. They purposely create a process so ridiculous that you're unable to get the funds to repair your property.

      Less than one star! My account has been out of forbearance for over a year and I have been making payments on my own for over a year and STILL they refuse to take my account out of forbearance status and it’s negatively affecting my credit score! I filed a complaint with the BBB and LoanCare STILL has not taken care of the problem. I have called over 50 times to their customer service, talked to countless “supervisors” who claim they will resolve the problem, and cannot even fathom the amount of time I spent wasting my life on hold with these people only to get the same answer over and over again, “I promise I take care of this for you,” only to have nothing taken care of at all! The worst thing is, I didn’t event choose LoanCare!!! I was super happen with my previous loan mortgage company, but my account was sold off to LoanCare! They are the absolute worst company I have ever done business with! I have now retained a lawyer and will move forward to the next level of resolving this issue. Please heed these words…NEVER get involved with this company!

      This company has the WORST customer service. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of anyone. I called the Virginia Beach headquarters. Same thing.
      I am an owner carrier and have had them service my loan. Do NOT use them. I beg you. You will pull your hair out. They are absolutely pathetic at the main office in Virginia and ESPECIALLY the office in Chandler AZ.

      They became my mortgage servicer on 11.7.22 I called on the 8th to get an account number. My previous bank sent me 3 letters leading up to this change to let me know. TIAA and loan care did not send me ANYTHING until 11.15.22 after I called. The reason I called on the 8th of November was to assure my county taxes will be paid. I was told to call back in a week so they had time to update my account, I did that and they told me that they had to go through escrow analysis and which would take two weeks. I called back and was told it was not complete and could take a couple more weeks (taxes are due 11.30 but I had 60 days since this was a new servicer) I called in Early December and they told me that they did not see my taxes in their system and they "would get back to me" now on 12.29 I call because the only communication I received after each call was 2 letters that they have updated my address, I have no idea why they would mail that because that was NEVER spoken about. Back on 12.29 now I am told that they do not have my tax bill and I need to upload it to their system, I did this while on the phone with them I was told it would be complete in 3 to 5 business days, now we are at January 18th I call and I was told that I never gave them permission to take the escrow and pay my taxes...WHAT! So I was told that I needed to send them an email to give them permission to take my escrow and pay my taxes, I did that while I was on the phone with them and once again I was told 3 to 5 business days for this to be resolved. Now on 1.26.23 NOTHING was done, they just told me on the 30th their site would be updated, their site, not my taxes dispersed. So this was escalated and now I need to wait for ANOTHER 3 to 5 business days. I am now responsible for fines since this has not been paid. Several times I asked just to send me a check and I will pay the taxes. This company works for TIAA one of the largest Banks worth 1.4 Trillion and this is the best they can do. RUN

      The most despicable company. How is this company even allowed to do business? It's really mind-boggling. What all these reviews are saying is true. I filed an official complaint with the FTC.
      Please do not do business with these people. It's impossible to communicate with them like a normal service-oriented bank. It's insane but you will call and be placed on hold and finally speak to someone that has no idea what they are talking about and has no information. If you ask more than some basic questions they will tell you we need to research this and get back to you in 15 days. The responses are so frustrating leaving you to wonder what other recourse you may have or how you will get help. When you call a normal bank or quality servicing company they have agents that are trained and computers with information along with specialists to help with more advanced questions and requests - not LoanCare. They don't CARE. It's mind-boggling really that there are companies like this in the US and we are trapped of course because to refinance we would have to pay another 3.25% with the current rates and restart our 30-year loan.
      We have spent $14,000 to date with our attorneys to get basic account questions answered and get to the bottom of why LC is imposing an escrow account when we have always paid our own insurance and taxes on time (since we refinanced with LC in 2016). We sent them all of our canceled checks and payment confirmations for taxes and insurance and we are still struggling with them. Nobody can help and their information is conflicting. Our account is a disaster and after trying for about 12 months our attorney is not having much better luck with them for the last two months.

      Our home was destroyed here in FL during Hurrican Ian. My husband was a contractor his entire life and we have been working daily since September 28 to restore it and it looks better than when we first bought it. LoanCare sent an inspector to our home on Jan 24th. He approved all work done. LoanCare passed our inspection yesterday and said we were on our way to receiving our claim funds. TODAY they called and said they won't release any of the xxxxx of our insurance money because we did the work ourselves. If this isn't fraud I don't know what is and so the battle begins.

      I want to give less than 1 star. We didn't get a choice with this company since they bought out our loan from our original lender.
      This company LOST our October payment to our original company, resulting in us having to make 2 payments in a month. Trying to get this resolved has only resulted in me doing more work than them. Expect to get dragged along, lied to, and false promises made. It's been over a month and we're getting dragged through waiting on different departments to resolve and issue that this company caused.

      Soooo frustrated with this company. I have called multiple times to get an escrow payment moved to the appropriate account. These people don't know how to manage an escrow account. They have me owing 7500 in escrow shortages. I can't delete my escrow account until the shortage is paid, but I can't get the misapplied payment moved. I've spent hours on the phone. The supervisor never calls me back. I just got out of forbearance and did a loan modification to get my monthly payment lowered. Now it is $700 higher. xxx?
      I'm going to somehow get this escrow shortage paid and delete my escrow account. I wish I didn't have to deal with Loancare. They suck!!! Zero Stars!!!!!!
