I've become a victim of their recent cyber attack and they can't even answer calls. I received an email from "loancare" stating that I am eligible for a federal mortgage assistance plan and that my payments would be lowered by 30% for 3 months. I spoke with "Jason ***" and he did have a lot of my personal information but not my exact loan information. I hate being scammed and I hate feeling unsafe about my mortgage. I did not sign anything with them but I'm sure I'm not that last person this has happened to.

Terrible customer service. I have been mislead and provided with inaccurate information. Would be nice if I had a say in who purchases my loans, as I would never have picked this company. Also, feel that if customers had more say in who owned the loan the service team with the company might care a little more about their customer.

This company no longer answers the phone and if you try to email it has to pertain to specific drop down options that all require documentation. They take several days to take payments out. They have zero customer service. Took out a double payment and no one would pick up.

Insurance department totally incompetent. Everyone tells you something different. 4 months to solve a simple problem, spoke to numerous supervisors, each 1 is dumber than the next. Then finally a manger gets on the phone and now I understand how everyone can be so incompetent. They always say this message is recorded, they should be required to give customers a copy of that recording.
I am upset that I had to give them 1 star.
WARNING TO EVERYONE! Don’t trust them, they are all liars. Make them put everything in an email.
Then to top it all off after 4 months of dealing with people who have no idea what there jobs, I get a letter that all my information was given to HACKERS! I said given to because they probably got in by calling the insurance department and asking the manager I spoke to for his user name and password. Now that I think about it, I should change my profession, probably would be really fun to go to work and be totally incompetent, have zero accountability, and the dumbest manager on the planet.

this is a mortgage company that has my mortgage. I had emergency surgery back in August. was out of work from August to October 23rd. I've been trying to work with them on mortgage assistance. beware, they will document you to death for 2 months. I sent them at least 20 times. finally in October they said my application was complete. takes 30 to 60 days for a review and decision. they are now telling me my application has expired and I have to start from square 1. horrible company. gives your the run around until your application expires. I'm warning people now refinance with someone else. ot hopefully you don't get sick and miss months of work.

Unfortunately this incompetent company holds the mortgage to our home. They've not given us any communication regarding the recent cyberhack. They shut down all operations but failed to let the folks who make payments know any of this. Fast forward to when their new and improved website is back online. We attempt to make a payment, get ap message saying something went wrong try again later so we did, three times. Two days later three payments are posted to our bank account. I call and 1st person says no problem I'll get the 2 payments reversed. Next day nothing has changed, I call back this person has no notes of me requesting the 2 extra payment to be reversed. She initiated the request. Later that day, my account is showing they reversed the extra payments. A fee days later I check the website just on a feeling. It says I'm behind and still owe my payment for December. I call and ask where is my payment I made. I was told we reversed them like you asked. No you only reversed 2, I paid 3 where is that money. It's probably ending with your back call them. Call my bank, nope no pending deposits from loancare. Call back, where is my payment it's not in my bank. They now say they mailed that reversed payment to us in the mail. It'll be delivered tomorrow per usps. I ask for a email confirming said check. I'm told they can't provide that. So I wait. No check in a week. I look into my account with them and low and behold the payment has been credited to my mortgage account. They are the worst business I've ever dealt with. No one knows what is actually going on and everyone you talk to has something different to say. They've yet to inform us of the breech and it's been a month. At this point I'm praying my loan gets sold again to someplace that is competent. Loancare is anything but that.

I was issued a reimbursement check of $******* on September 14, 2021. I didn’t cash it in time so I requested a new one. After speaking with multiple reps and sending back and forth emails , I was told they would send me a new one.
I waited months and when I went to follow up, loancare had no record of me or the check!
Oct 12, 2023 I received a letter from loancare, acknowledging the check (and the check number) that has not been cashed. I was instructed to fill out the attached form and they would send me a new check.
I waited 8 more weeks and when I went to follow up, I was told they never received the form but now they can send a the checkwhich will take 3 weeks!
This company is either incompetent or they are giving me the run around on purpose

I would give zero Stars if it was available. My house burned down a year ago and I got the payoff amount from loan care when I got my insurance check I sent the payoff amount and they held the check for over 2 weeks so they could charge me extra saying that my payment was late so they took a full payment out of the payoff toward the monthly payment and added late charges then didn't let me know until it was a couple months later accruing more late charges so now I'm stuck paying monthly until they decide that I've paid enough extra and they're still harassing me. My neighbor said they came out and said that I was in default. That is a blatant lie as I have paid for the last 4 months on the extra amount that they decided to add on after I paid the house off.
They claim that most of the payment that I've been making is going toward the insurance and taxes there's no insurance because there is no house and the taxes are minimal because there is no house so basically they're just keeping all the extra money and applying a minimal amount toward the extra balance that they added on after the house was paid off. This sucks because little people can't afford lawyers to fight this kind of criminal behavior.
