I was trying to post an ad to sell a vehicle....just post an ad to sell a vehicle. W/out any explanation I am banned because I violated their community policy or something. There is no customer service phone#. I sent them an email request for an explanation on why I can't post an ad. Others say it's a great site to sell items. I posted a vehicle to sell about 1.5 months ago & the ad didn't provide any responses on a ******* I posted it on ******** Marketplace & got over **** views...over 100 people contacted ****** sold the car in a short period of time. I am not impressed w/Offerup as a business.***OfferUp, Inc.

I'd been on OfferUp (and LetGo) for some time, and have successfully sold quite a few items to satisfied buyers. I enjoyed it and I had a bunch of 5-star reviews. About a year ago, they removed my listing for a shirt, citing that illegal items or items that encourage illegal activity aren't allowed. I totally understand their need to minimize illegal activity. I figured I had inadvertently used some word or phrase that triggered some algorithm, so I inquired on their customer support (and I use that term generously) page. All I got was a scripted and canned response that said the same thing. The response said for more information, I could click on a link to the Consumer ************************** Turns out the **** had no clue what was illegal about my ad for a man's shirt. I emailed 3 times, asking what I had done wrong, but each question resulted in the identical canned response. I reposted the item where it remained unchallenged. Then, just a few weeks ago I listed a car for sale. Again, totally unknowingly I apparently said something egregious. This time OfferUp deleted my entire account (along with about 30 items listed for sale) and told me I could not rejoin. Once again I pleaded for any specific information as to what was violative about my post, but just as before, all I got was the same canned email that told me nothing. To add insult to injury, I kept receiving emails ad nauseum from OfferUp entreating me to shop and purchase from their site (which, of course, I'm not allowed to do since they kicked me off). I would think most users would be grateful for guidance when they've posted an item that the software has flagged as dubious. I would have gladly corrected whatever apparently horrible mistake I made if I could've only gotten someone to tell me what it was. This makes no sense to me; I can't figure out why they wouldn't want to educate their users. There is no way I would've purposely posted anything "...illegal or that encourages illegal activity."OfferUp, Inc.

I was using offerup to buy a vehicle. I reported a seller that I thought was doing a vin number fraud and they immediately deactivated me account. Meanwhile, I was in other discussion with legitimate sellers and no longer had access to those conversations.I'll detail out my report.... I pulled a vin number on a vehicle that said it was a manual sr5 4runner... when I showed up it was not an sr5 and it was an automatic... on top of that, I had to drive into a back alley apartment complex where I literally loaded a round into my pistol because I feared for an ambush Because I felt uncomfortable and the vin didn't match with the vehicle I was seeing, I GOT DELETED!! WTF! I guess you can't report illegal activity on their app because they want those sellers. Boycott offer up!OfferUp, Inc.

They deleted my account with over 250 five star reviews. I have been using them for nearly 6 years now. I reached out to them and this is their response: "Your account has been removed from OfferUp due to violations of our Community Guidelines and Posting Rules. OfferUp reserves the right to remove items or profiles at its own discretion with or without previous warning or education efforts. Any pending offers have been canceled and funds released back to the method of payment. It may take up to 10 days for pending authorizations to disappear or for refunds to fully process. If it has been longer than 10 days, please reach out to your financial institution. Please be aware that opening a new account once your account has been removed is not allowed." Please stop sending me promotional emails if you won't allow me to use your websiteOfferUp, Inc.

My post just got remove for no reason it say I posted something that was removed from braking there privacy policy I have not break any rules or post anything that is against there rules all I had listed was some electronic, desktop case , keyboard,mouse,chair,small tv,books and magazines collection items and men's shorts and some old f*** keep flag my same post over and over non stop and I have this account over 2 month I have contact the owner of the app I sent them a few emails and not dam one of them read my email that I have sent and they never replied back I have called there number and left a few messages then the block my phone number as a bot wtf this is the worst app ever and I try buying a item from a lady and she refused to take change that I have saved up that I have $30.00 in change and she refused to take the money and she said I only take cash dollar bills not change then she asked me a stupid question ? like what are you talking about what do you mean change she needs to go back to school and learn what change looks like then she say I will deliver the item but I need more money for the delivery travel and gas money when she lives in the same area as I do and I believe she a scam and money rip off and I don't like this app ask you for your personal information in order to use there app I believe this is invasive of my privacy information this company needs to be shut down by the *** and they customer all need to be arrested for asking people personal information by break the law. I would not even recommend this app unless you want to get rip off or scam or a hacker to hack your account and steal your personal information as the owner is not keep everyone account safe and secure.OfferUp, Inc.

Horrible company, pulled my post of items saying they were against their policy. Meanwhile others had item posted that were the same or worse than mine. Unfair practice to be selective like that. Do not do business with them!OfferUp, Inc.

Waste of time! My account was locked & items I posted for sale were removed due to a technical error I was told! I was selling baby items. My account had only been up for about 3 days! They sent me an email saying my account would be closed for violation of community rules but I hadn't violated any rules. They turned it back on but removed the items I posted for sell. I told just keep the account closed nobody has time to keep reposting items!OfferUp, Inc.
