  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MARKET LEADER! The real reason they only offer 6 month minimum contracts, is so they can scam you into signing up for "leads" that produce NO OUTCOME and funnel as much money out of you before you can jump ship! Been with the company for 3 months, and have not had a single person respond or show any interest. To top it all off, we have found out that out-of-state real estate agents are using this platform to access our MLS to search properties in the area! Someone needs to file a class action lawsuit against this company asap, as they are preying on real estate agents with false promises, bogus/made up reviews, and misleading advertising. I am sure they are playing some sort of legal loop hole, but a judge will be able to decipher this company isn't following business ethics.

  If I could give 0 stars- there would be no question. I paid $99 on 2/21 for 10 leads for Feb. I paid $500 for leads in the month of march. (Which advertised as 20 leads) ************ is fraudulent and should be blacklisted from any agent use. Sales rep specifically sold this service on malicious and fraudulent terms. Not only was I told I had the opportunity to cancel this service within 30 days of service, I also paid $99 dollars on 2/21/2023 to receive 10 leads for the remainder of the month of February 2023. They did NOT notify me that it would take several days for the *** to be approved for use, so I was not sent relevant leads for February. I first inquired with the rep. ** 3/3 about returning my first lead return that was denied. I was told these leads were vetted by their respective employer- though I may receive one or two bogus leads that would be returned and refunded to my account. The first lead I received was bogus and also denied for return. I have yet to receive a legit lead. **e lead I received was from an individual register on the DO NOT CALL list, to which the account manager suggest I contact them anyway because they do not adhere to the Do not call list. As of 3/29 I have not received a refund or cancellation of contract. The account manager let me know that they have no contractual obligations to legitimate leads and customers will pay out the remainder of contract (525.00x6 months in my case). Account manager also relayed that he can only believe his representatives are doing as trained and not giving out false or incorrect information when procuring a sale - regardless of 30 day window given by respective parties. They will not cancel and they will charge you. If you discuss legal action they will terminate the conversation. I have the entire email thread between myself and the sales rep until the account manager called today. I will be keeping them for use. BE ****!!!

Customer chose a six-month lead subscription to include a guarantee of 10 Leads Direct leads per month from subscription area.Market Leader provides a lead guarantee which enables real estate professionals the opportunity to add a predictable number of consumers to their real estate network. Lead subscription services are from consumers who proactively create an account and register on agent's website from Market Leader's search engine marketing on ****** and Bing. Market Leader uses thousands of real estate specific terms and geography specific locations to attract consumers to customer's website. When a consumer clicks on the advertisement, they are driven to a results page on the agent's real estate website. After viewing a second property, the consumer has the option to register and create an account to receive daily/weekly/monthly listing alerts. A consumer who creates an account is a lead, funneled into agents contact management system and is available for the agent to engage using the Market Leader contact management system tools.?Market Leader guarantees working contact information (working phone number and/or working email address) and if email address is not deliverable, customer can return that lead. Customer received 1 lead in February ($0 cost) and 13 leads in March. Customer received a request on April 3rd, 2023 for more information about a home and customer has yet to document any communication in the contact management system.

  Their sales rep lied entire time claiming about their solid leads and willing and able to perform leads and never mentioned about 6 months contract. I clearly remember he told me if I choose not to continue I can simply give 30 days notice and I be able to cancel. I am already more than $2000 out of pockets they send me over 24 leads which all of them are trash. I worked to contacted all of the leads for hours and most there is no response and the one who responded said they are not in market to buy or sell and they asked not to be contacted. I called their customer service to cancel and they telling me I have 6 months contract which never being disclosed to me. Total ******** am letting all my colleagues not to use their service. I am seeking legal action against them as they promised me to provide transactional leads but they fail to do so.

Market Leader uses thousands of real estate specific terms and geography specific locations to attract consumers to customer's website. When a consumer clicks on the advertisement, they are driven to a results page on the agent's real estate website. After viewing a second property, the consumer has the option to register and create an account to receive daily/weekly/monthly listing alerts. A consumer who creates an account is a lead, funneled into agents contact management system and is available for the agent to engage using the Market Leader contact management system tools.   Real estate agents DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MARKET LEADER! On January 6, 2023, I called the billing department to cancel my account. The billing department acknowledged receipt but said an account manager would be calling. A few days later, the account manager called; he said he would send me a form to cancel. He never sent the form. Thus, my account was not "officially" canceled. When he called to ask for my February payment, he told me that they would not cancel my account as they need 35 days, not the typical 30 days and that I would have to pay an additional month, plus I need to complete the form (the one that I never received). I said, please send me the form so I can cancel. The account manager, again, did not send me the form even after multiple emails asking for the form and to cancel my account.Today, February 20, 2023, I received a call from the Market Leader billing department, telling me my account is still not canceled, and they will charge me for an additional month because the form has not been received. This billing representative finally sent me the online form, which I immediately completed. But stated I would have to pay another month's fee. She then noted that a "billing representative" would call me and, again, I would be billed for March. Come on, people! None of us would be in business if we did business like this. It is impossible to cancel your account. The original account manager I spoke with was unprofessional and rude! Again, buyer, beware! Stay away from Market Leader!

  Agents do yourselves a favor and steer clear of this company and they're sales reps who disappear on you after they "got you". There's a reason why they insist on a 6 month contract cause otherwise no one will stay with them past the first few weeks after realizing that the leads they promise you are garbage. They send you a random name and email address, without any type of scrubbing or confirming that the person is in fact the owner of that email address or have any interest in speaking with anyone. And 99% of the time the name you receive isn't even a match to the property owners they claim to be tied to that lead. Total BS and they won't let you out of the contract. Waste of $280/month. Don't believe anything they tell you. Fake emails and fake leads. I'll be filing a formal complaint against this scam of a company.

There are customers who are unhappy as their approach does not align with today's consumer. House Values lead subscription services are from consumers who proactively visit housevalues.com to receive an automated valuation of their home and a market analysis of their home from a real estate professional. Market Leader guarantees the number of leads associated with the subscription and only one real estate professional can own a zip code, so leads and zip code is exclusive to one agent. A consumer who registers their contact information and home details are funneled into agents contact management system and is available for the agent to engage using the Market Leader contact management system tools. Market Leader guarantees working contact information (working phone number and/or working email address) and if email address is not deliverable, customer can return that lead.

  Absolutely the worst company. The service is not good, the website is not good. I fulfilled my obligation to them and canceled, went through the process and they wouldn't let me cancel when I wanted to cancel. They told me I had to keep it and pay for an additional month. I told them Absolutely not and to cancel my account immediately. They refuse to cancel the account and shut off my website. They keep trying to charge my account after I canceled. They literally are the worst company. Absolutely horrible. Avoid like the plague. You will regret doing any business with this company.

Market Leader received your completed account change request form on January 2nd, prompting a cancellation date of January 31st, 2023. Market Leader should not have invoiced you on February 1st for your website and CRM. Market Leader has credited that invoice. No future billing will occur. Market Leader appreciates providing you 24 months of service, we wish you the best.

  I cancelled Market Leader and received an email, indicating I would receive a refund with **** working days. On Day 12, I sent an email requesting status of the refund and received no response. On Day 15, I opened a credit card dispute. Only then did I receive an email with stating if I dropped the dispute, the credit would be refunded. The other reviewers are correct, don't do business with Market Leader. It's just not worth the hassle!

  Real estate professional purchased via the SELF-SERVE purchasing process and accepted an online agreement to prepay services for one year at $199. The credit card dispute (for a self-serve purchase) interrupted the refund process.

  I wish I had reviewed the BBB reviews before signing up for Market Leader (ML). It would have saved me time and money, because I would not have signed up. If I could call it a scam I would, but by definition ML barely escapes. The leads are of poor quality and their system relies primarily on email communication which is very ineffective. Phone numbers are not provided for most leads and those that did have phone numbers were invalid. I will spread the word on as many applicable platforms and to as many real estate agents as possible that this ML is much like most of the other companies selling leads - not worth your money.

  I was told I would have 10+ leads a for 6 months starting Nov 1, 2022-April 2023. The cost was ****** a month with a promotion of Free the first month Nov and ****** off the second month cost ******. These leads were to incl legit PHONE # and Emails. Since the day I signed up, Ive been getting telemarketers getting MY email and phone #and calling me ALL hours of the day. NOT one so -called lead has any interest in buying or selling a home, and Most of them do NOT have a phone or its disconnected. NOW they are saying they never guaranteed a phone # , which was the only main reason I joined. I was told when I signed up by ************** would be reimbursed for these bad leads no prob. I feel by looking at these reviews, myself along with most of the other people on here have been SCAMMED too. Ive Called them and Ive sent emails, explaining my unhappiness and frustrations to NO Avail. They said my contract wasnt up until end of MAY and that November didnt count because it was FREE,! which again they lied about !! They have only called me back only one time and said I cant cancel til my contract is up and if Im not happy, they would have the person whom I signed up with get back to me ( which he hasn't ) , and they have no control over what was promised to me by them and said they cant guarantee anything!!! Legally I feel there shouldnt be a contract if Im not getting what I was promised in that contract. They also require you to fill out a form to cancel, BUT no where on their website you can find this form and you have to email them to get it ,Ive asked for it several times, How is that right?, When they dont return those emails with the form? Ive sent emails I want to cancel , these people should not be in business. *** filed a complaint with my credit card and will take this all the way to the attorney general if I have to. PLease read all these complaints . Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I also have a feeling their good reviews are all fake!

  i completely disagree and do not accept this answer. Look at all the people on here saying the exact same thing and that should be the truth! Even your ******** reviews are lies and the bad ones are erased . Not one lead was a real lead , I was promised phone numbers or I would never have signed up !! That I was VERY clear to ****** , who clearly said phone numbers would be provided , instead my phone number and info is given out to every solicitor out there ! Everyone on here should come together and file a class action lawsuit you. you are stealing from people . we may have signed a contract but didnt get what was promised in that contact it was lies , then you say you have no control over what the person who signed me up says ?? Dont hey they work for you ? Then you make it very difficult to cancel so you keep stealing money for nothing in return This is Fraud all the way , I will tell this to every realtor I know .
