1 starI bought the ******** Signature 3lb Local Honey (*****) between January 2019 and August 2022 in *****. And I received an Email from Costco that this product is not 100% honey as advertised on the bottle. I am no longer a Costco member now since my membership expired 2 months ago. When I received the Email (Nov. 4th, 2022), I went to Costco to request a refund as instructed in the Email, but the staff over their refused the refund because I am no longer a member. I do not understand why I can not get a refund for the product that was mis-advertised.The reason I bought the ***** honey from Costco is that the advertisement on the bottle said it is 100% ***** honey, but now I know it is not. So I was tricked to buy something I did not want to buy, and Costco refused to refund me for the mis advertisement. I will never be a Costco member since I do not believe in their credibility.Review fromEdward T

1 starCostco.com invalidated my shop card for one purchase because we had a dispute on another purchase. Isnt that illegal? I bought a washer and dryer online. Turns out the dryer was cracked and we canceled that order. Should be pretty obvious I get my money back right? Nope. They wouldnt refund. After months, I contacted my credit card company and got my money back. They still owe for cash cards for the washer and dryer and I owe money for too much of a refund for the charge back, so they take another cash card away?No one in the company will resolve this. 1 starI had ordered an 77inch ***** from Costco online. This was a horrible experience from the get-go: Costco logistics guys called 1.5 hours before the delivery window and said they would be in front of our house and didn't honor the delivery window! Fortunately, I was home. Once they came, I wanted them to deliver it to an upstairs room (per Costco, this service comes free). These guys didn't wear shoe covers and I asked them to wear. They didn't even have them - never came across a white gloves delivery company to not even have shoe covers. The lead delivery guy was very rude and just started leaving with the ** on our front porch. I politely asked them to wait for a sec to consult with my wife to see if we should let them without shoe covers. The guys didn't even wait for 10 secs (literally) and right away picked up the ** and started loading to the truck again. I went out and asked them what they are doing and why can't they wait even 10 secs. He didn't even talk and respond and proceeded to leave it in the front porch again. I asked him name and he didn't even respond. I asked them to leave the ** inside the door and ended up moving it ourselves to upstairs. I am very disappointed with Costco and will likely not make another online purchase of any big items.Review fromSabe W

1 starThe staff is very rude including the manager. I have never in my life received such horrible customer service. Let alone from a **********************. ****** was rude right off the bat, unhelpful and giving incorrect information. I was kind to her the whole time and requested a manager to verify information she was incorrectly providing. The first time i asked she refused to get one for me, so i asked again and she rudely got one for me. Then the manager shows up and ****** does not let me speak and the manager is just as rude to me even though i was nice the entire time and only seeking help. The manager was able to get the receipt pulled up that ****** told me did not exist lol. I work for an apartment complex and we need receipts for the invoices. I was not the one who picked up the original purchase and the employee who did used her mothers membership, they told me the card is non transferrable and I told them I am sorry but I was not the one who did the purchase and they continued to be rude over that one point even though they were the ones who failed to check ID and it wasnt me who did it. ****** immediately had a very rude tone and talked down to me like I was dumb when all i wanted was a receipt for a purchase that she could not pull up even though her manager could. I asked questions like can you look it up by the purchase card number and she proceeded to ask me behind the counter to show me her screen to tell me she cant in a very sarcastic and unfriendly way instead of just saying she unfortunately cannot. I have never received such bad service especially when it was undeserved, I even apologized for the inconvenience it was for THEM. Which is what they should have said to me. The manager was just as bad and that is not the first time I have seen that manager be rude. She should not be the manager there, it is clearly too much stress for her to not be able to be kind or helpful to customers. I hope something changes. 1 starTruly the worst service I have ever received. We bought a dishwasher through Costco. The delivery team missed several appointments without any communication with me. I took each of these days off work, and they were all no-call-no-shows. I spent several hours on the phone with Costco to figure out why & to reschedule, only to have another no-call-no-show. We hosted Thanksgiving, and the reason we ordered this dishwasher is it was assured to be installed in time. Despite assurances from Costco, it didn't happen. I was finally given the number to the man in charge of installation for the district. He apologized & assured me he'd take care of it. He also promised me, "After it's all installed, give me a *********** make sure we make it up to you." After it was installed, when I called him, he didn't do right by his ***** ********* extra was done for me. And even after his guarantee, there was another no-call-no-show.When the delivery finally came, they didn't have the right parts to install because, "We didn't know your counter faced this direction." The incompetence! Yet again, I waited for another appointment for installation. All along this process, the men spoke to me like they were doing a big favor to me to go out of their way for the installation, completely disregarding the missed appointments, hours on the phone, my time off work, and utter misuse of my time. I will never be ordering another appliance or installation of any kind through Costco & will continue to urge to others to do the same.Review fromLatisha P

1 starI'm disgusted and I'm not sure if it's a New York thing but there is no advertising and if it is it must be microscopic This store doesn't take AMEX or Mastercard (unless it's a debit card) only seem to take **** and foodstamp cards which is ridiculous If your store has such conditions it should be widely advertisedReview fromDavid P

1 starCostco online and logistics are horrible. DO NOT ORDER FROM COSTCO ONLINE!!!I cancelled an order for a shed when they wanted to leave it on the sidewalk in front of my house. Costco logistics agreed to cancel the order and give me a credit. They did not give me a credit and a months later dumped the shed in my driveway blocking my garage.Review fromRobert F

1 starI ordered a set of new Michelin tires from costco and then a couple days later my order amount was refunded. I called customer service and was told my order was cancelled and that is why my money was refunded. They told me that they don't have any of those tires avail to sell. I said i am looking at your website right now and it lists the tires that are not available and it says these tires are available. They said that the website is wrong and my order was cancelled. I then ordered tires from a competitor and had them installed the next day. A few days later Costco decides that they can get the tires in and without notice Charges my debit card illegally for $1600!!!!!!! I called and told them that order was cancelled by Costco and I didn't authorize the charge. Costco then said ok we will cancel the order and refund me my money. That was last week! still no refund in my account. I called again and was told the money sometimes takes a while to process and to be patient... Costco is becoming a GARBAGE retailer!!!!!! I am done with them. I will just shop at ********** from now on. ***'s lets you pay for your purchase on your phone with a scan and go option Same thing at the gas pump, scan and go. ***'s sells regular and organic produce as well. Costco only sells organic produce, twice the cost and half the product! Another example, why can I buy milk cheaper at ******* everyday cheaper than Costco and I paid for a costco membership??? For what??? To pay more money than people who can just walk into a grocery store and buy the same product for free with no membership!!!!!Review fromDan B

1 starmy name is ******************* i have been trying 2 years to get a job at clostco part time but once i tell them i am on ssdi they dont want anything to do with me i am on ssdi but it dose not mean i cant work part time every time i have went to costco after they call me for interview the people i am to see are busy they dont have the time but ***** the person who called me to come up and told me to speak with managers looking for help do have the time to interview i feel i am beening used 5 calls from the no interviews company should get tax break if they hire people on ssdi part time then they would for the money tax breaks well they should be fined if they dont hire people on ssdi we can be good worker to give us a chanceReview fromDenise F

1 starOn 10/11/2022 I went to self check out because there was only one lane open and approximately 30 customers waiting to checkout. ****** a supervisor was on the floor with another Costco employee that was not checking out people. I went to self check out. And ***** an employee who wore no name tag or vest walked over and scanned diapers I was purchasing. I could not lift another item that I was purchasing and asked her to help me. She said Im not allowed to scan things that are not heavy. I told her that I cannot get the item to scan, I had already tried. She scanned the item and stated to me, I dont know why you cant scan the item, snobbishly. She began to argue with me. I asked her not to argue with me and to please step away from me so I could finish checking out. I mentioned that supervisors in the past and other employees have used the scanner gun to scan all the items without my asking. Today, I only had 3 items to check out.I called the supervisor to talk to him about the situation (******) who did not apologize nor did he take any responsibility for the situation, stating, theyre allowed to scan want the want to scan. I repeated, I am a member and needed help with scanning an item, I did not ask her to be rude to me or be argumentative. Her job is customer service, I believe. This did not seem to get across to him. I am allowed to become upset when I am being mistreated by an employee. He shouted out me twice, calm down! That is not how to calm a person down. I did not approach either of these folks with aggression. Customers/ members of Costco deserve to be treated with respect. I had to approach ****** again to find out the employees name and stated to him that I would write upper management about the situation. Unfortunately, I have seen the quality of the employees and customer service at this location drastically decline over the past 3 years.
