1 starI bought the Over the range KITCHENAID microwave from COSTCO.COM on 10/23/23, I had to wait 3 weeks in order to get the new microwave delivered to my house(11/14/23). On the next day, the Costcos installers came to my house to do the install/uninstall the microwave. First, They uninstalled the old microwave which came from GE, so, the size was little bit smaller, then they installed the new one which didnt fit into the place where the old microwave was, they told me that there were 2 pieces of wood on the wall that made new microwave unable to fit in. They suggested that these two pieces of wood should be removed. I told them that it is okay to do that as long as the microwave can fit into the old place and work properly. After they installed the new microwave into the old place, I decided to test new microwave while they were there, I discovered that the new microwave was defected due to the ventilation fan was not working at all. The installers told me that they already reported the microwaves problem to COSTCO, and it would take only 2 days to replace the defective microwave, and get the new microwave,. After I waited for one day; I didnt get any calls from COSTCO, so I called customer service and they told me that I needed to wait for 5 to 7 business days in order to schedule the pick up if I want to return the microwave and if I want to replace the microwave, I need to wait for a month so I can get the new microwave. I decided to return the microwave. I asked them to send someone to uninstall the microwave and haul it out. They said that they dont have anybody to uninstall it. So, I had to hired a local contractor to uninstall it, the contractor told me that the ventilation fan would not align properly when the two pieces of wood were removed. He had to install the two pieces back in and install new microwave which I bought from KITCHENAID. It cost me $175 to fix the problem from COSTCO installer. As of today, COSTCO has not picked up their microwave yet.Review fromMichelle T

1 starAvoid the tire center. After waiting 4 weeks for my apt on Dec 3 at the Costco in *************, **, gross incompetence of not being able to install tires free 2-1/2 hours. Told us 90 min wait. Checked on them after 2 hours and they said they were being balanced and would be done in 20 more min. Came back for them to say they couldnt get the new tires on and had been working on the first tire for 90+ min. How were they balancing the tires if they couldnt get them on? I ordered the correct size tires. They just have staff that have no idea what they are doing and lied about it. Wasted 4 weeks and then 3 hours sitting in Costco. Void even if it seems like a good deal. Also, website says they do walk-in apts. I went at opening a couple days after my tires arrived & woman at counter says we dont do walk-ins in ** because they are too busy. Come to find out and friend did a walk in and they had no problem doing it. So that was another lie. They also stripped 4 lug nuts on her car so yeah, they have no idea what they are doing. No wonder install is free with purchase. Because the people they hire have no clue how to put a tire on correctly. Avoid lost time and damage to your car. Go somewhere else.Review fromTristin A

1 starFor a dishwasher and microwave from Costco-comes with installation. A ***************** and older guy came to do the install. Younger guy mostly installed the dishwasher-done correctly 5 stars for him-however the older guy did so terrible installing our microwave-he had no clue how to use the tools of anything! He started randomly drilling into our cabinets to make purchase with the microwave-just random holes-we now have a Swiss cheese cabinet and the stupid guy damaged the new microwave by his random drilling and didnt even secure the microwave correctly. Not all secure screws were used. Terrible terrible-I feel dumb for not saying anything-they took the microwave box with them too-our microwave is missing parts-theyre probably in the boxReview fromMatt T

1 starI purchased 5 ** televisions of various models from Costco upon completing our home renovation in Q1 2023. Two televisions (Model# for both is OLED65C2AUA) stopped connecting to Wi-Fi roughly six months after purchase. I have spent HOURS across several DAYS working with COSTCO to resolve the issue for both of these $1,699 televisions. This is valuable time away from my job, three young children, wife and friends. Each time I call COSTCO I am told something different about how to resolve my issue. I have had technicians come to my home on several occasions and they have been unable to resolve. I have been a loyal COSTCO customer since 2015 but am now looking into other options like ******* and Target for ALL future purchases for my family of five. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable, and I would STRONGLY advise AGAINST anyone doing business with COSTCO, especially for *******************.Review fromDanny B

1 starCostco saturates our ********* is VERY frustrating that they will not S T E P I T U P for their loyal customers!!!1 - They do not take MASTERCARD so we can't earn our points with our credit cards we have. 2 - They do not offer on the Costco app where you can scan your items in the stores & pay right through the app & then head right to the check out line like **** CLUB allows. NO STANDING in LONG LINES TO PAY & Checkout. 3 - Costco does not consistently carry items that we are accustomed to buying on a regular bases from ********** dont realize it until we have already traveled to the store & are inside. By then our cart is already filled & we dont even get the items we originally wanted there. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING. We believe that the extra drive time to **** CLUB might just be worth it if Costco wont step up their game and offer their loyal customers a great and comfortable experience in all areas.Review fromGabe W

1 starOnline shoppers beware. Costco double charged my account due to their authorization hold charge. The authorization hold was for the full amount of my purchase. Then once the items shipped, they charge me a second time for the cost of each item as they shipped ending in a double charge until the transaction clears my banking institution. Leaving me double charged for several days. I went to great lengths to get this resolved, only to be told they couldnt do anything to correct the problem. This is bad policy practice that many cannot afford to have happen. I highly recommend thinking twice before purchasing from Costco online. Youll potentially end up being double billed for several days until the charges clear your financial institution at which time the secondary charges fall off.Review fromTammy L

1 starMy family have had a Costco membership since 2016. I have been able to use my family's card with no trouble. Today they started doing ID checks at the register; they were not ID checking until now. At the register I was told I can't use my family's card because they needed the card holders themselves to be physically present. I said I was able to use it before, why is it that I cannot do so now? They told me that their policy states that I can't ever use it but we were never informed of this when we signed up for the membership nor whenever I use the card. We were also never informed that we will be ID checked when we use the memberships either. I have been paying for the renewal of the membership with no problems for years. I literally renewed two months ago and have been using it with no problems. I felt like I was trapped into signing up for a new membership at the register. The sign up process was h*** The lady assisting me did not know what she was doing and her supervisor, *****, did not help her with the process till she made a mistake. I prepaid for my membership at the register and need a new membership card. She rang up my information to a new card as if it is was not paid for and try to have me pay again. This cost me more time and a manager was called for. I asked ***, the manager, about the enforcement of the policy without notifying members after not enforcing the policy for years. He told me it was only during Covid that it was not enforced. However, it was not enforced even before Covid. I stated that they should notify customers of this enforcement before renewal; however, they brushed me off and I was told that I should've known and expect this. I do not understand how I could've known when they never notified us even in the beginning of the membership sign up process back in 2016! They omitted this information to their customers during the sign up process and during the renewal process as well. This violated consumer law in so many levels.Review fromKathy J

1 starCostco has changed. I made a purchase inside a store and was charged twice. I called Costco and the problem was not resolved, I received provision credit until Costco reversed the charge. It took about a week. Recently, I ordered online. The full price came out of my account. Then as ******************** started shipping the items they charged me again once the items were shipped. When I spoke with Costco customer service I was told my order shipped early and the pre authorization couldnt be reversed. WHAT! My bank cant take off a pending charge or give provisional credit until the charge is no longer pending. This was big purchase, so imagine looking into your checking account and you only have $247.00 in your account and ******************** sorry and your bank cant do anything until the charges go through. I canceled an item that had not shipped. I I checked my bank account and ******************** charged my account. I went to my ******************** account and it said the item shipped out on the day I canceled it ??. Im not sure whats going on with Costco and whether or not I will continue to do business with them in the future. This is bad.Review fromCerita M

1 starIf I could give the Costco in ********** a negative review I would. Id like to call out **** the manager. His employee Peace showed racism and discrimination towards me. Heres what happened;I only had two items and Peace IDd me at the register when I was already Identified at the door and she accused me of sharing my card when I was by myself and didnt ID the person or people behind me. Again I only purchased two items. I emailed MO first and nothing got resolved and all I wanted was compensation and an apology. The whole thing was very disappointing and humiliating. I wont be shopping there for awhile. ***** ppl just go to **** Club. Dont shop at Costco!Review fromNorma A
