      Bought a box of moldy pumpkin spice ********* at the **************** Costco and did a return the next day at the *********** Costco location. Me and my son both ate one of the madeleines before realized they were moldy. The clerk at the return kiosk did not examine the box or apologize and only said "oh poor guy" when I told her that my son also ate one. We were very upset and called for the manager, but it was no better experience with her. The manager did not apologize as well but instead saying there's nothing that she could do. Then she asked us many times "what do you want us to do about it?" and " tell us what do you want?" She did not bother to examine the item as well. She was not being professional about our complains and ended the conversation with "just call the 1 800 number or the **************** Costco since it was bought there." We were not trying to scam Costco by any means but was simply looking for an apology which did not happened at the first place.

      Costco SUCKS!!! *** NOT FRIENDLY! I have a very bad left hip on surgery schedule for a total left hip replacement!!I have come across a problem ONLY 4 handicap scooters per store NOT ENOUGH!!!!! never can get one. 45 MINUTE WAIT FOR ONE!!! i HAVE NEVER GOT ONE!! ALL OTHER STORES HAVE THEM AND NO PROBLEM GETTING ONE 33 YEARS AS A MEMBER I THINK NO MORE!!also I DO NOT FIT THE COSTCO MODE 105 POUNDS 28 WAIST AND CAN RUN!!! HAHAHAH COSTCO NEEDS TO WAKE UP LOT'S OLD FOLK'S NOT GOING TO COSTCO FOR THIS REASON!!! THEY ALSO DENIED A *** ******* ANIMAL AT WARINGTON OREGON STORE!!! THEY SELL TIRES FOR TRAILERS BUT ARE TO DUMB TO FINGER OUT TORK SPECKS CANNOT LOOK THEM UP HAVE TO HAVE ON ORIGINAL FACTORY PAPER!! ALL OTHER TIRE STORES CAN GET IT DONE!!!

      Costco has gone downhill. Exchanged a mattress, they said they would pick up the old one and no showed 4x. I had *********************** this debacle. Then they offered me a $150 shop card for their mistake. Still havent received. Today, after 3rd attempt, told them to keep it and their membership. Horrific service!

      My online order was covered in **** dish soap, all of my items were ruined. I called to get a replacement and they wanted me to clean the items, rebox them and then take back to the store. Horrible customer service. Do not use ******************** online.

      Warning!!! DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES THROUGH COSTCO....Their customer service people lie to you. They delivered a high end Cafe refrigerator that cost me $4600 and the delivery people just left it there without taking the tapes inside and out and there were 6 spots in the front of door with glue marks which I could not have them removed no matter what I used. Then, the next disaster! It started to beep with a sign that the door was open when every was perfectly closed. This beeping went on continuously unless I manually shut it off then it would start beeping again. I called Costco.com customer service and they didn't know a thing and gave me run-arounds and it took 13 phone calls and I talked to several different people there, including **** and *******. I needed to have the noise stopped immediately and the only was was to have it repaired by someone. They authorized the repair cost. I made sure they understood that I was unhappy and wanted to return the item and would not purchase anything like appliances through them ever again. They said they would make the exception and go ahead and reimburse me for the repair cost up to $250. The appliance repair guy I called came and checked and found the grease on the door gaskets and found the gasket was off at the bottom of freezer.I will have to write the rest in a few hours because it is going to be LONG. But I will finish it later. Just DO NOT buy appliances from Costco.com.

      Pro: Costco's food selection is undeniably impressive. The quality, ****************** of their food products are the stars of the show. Whether you're seeking fresh produce, bakery items, or bulk goods, you can uncover remarkable deals on high-quality items that can justify the cost of a standard membership, especially if you're a frequent shopper.My enthusiasm for their food is diminished by certain less-than-ideal aspects of shopping at Costco. Firstly, there's the constant card checking: you're required to present your membership card twice, once at the entrance and again at the checkout. It almost feels as though they suspect you might magically sneak after the initial check. This incessant card flashing can become tedious and is redundant.I've come across a review claiming that they tend to be more rigorous with card checks for minority customers. While only time will tell if that holds true, I must admit that I have never been overlooked. On my last visit, six individuals strolled past the greeter at the entrance without any hindrance, while I was always stopped and asked for my "CARD." This is disconcerting, and although I initially thought it bad luck, after reading similar accounts from others, I can't help but wonder.Also, the relentless promotion of the Executive Membership is exhausting. It is pushed at every available opportunity, despite not being the right fit for everyone. If it truly offered value, they wouldn't need to work so hard to market it.I purchased a refrigerator, which arrived late and damaged. When I reached out to customer service, it took an unacceptably long time to for a response, missing their own deadline significantly.As of 10/3, I am still waiting for the repair of my refrigerator, despite reporting the issue on August 30th. Such levels of delay and miscommunication are unacceptable.

      I OREDERED A GENERATOR THROUGH COSTCO IN SEPTEMBER OF 2022 .WE WERE ON A WAITING LIST AND AS OF MARCH 2023 WE WERE 197 AWAY FROM GETTING THE GENEREATOR AND OUR HOUSE SOLD AND WE HAD TO BE OUT IN MAY OF 2023.WE WERE THEN TOLD THERE WOULD BE A ******* RESTOCKING FEE FROM THEM TO REFUND THE ORIGINAL ***** WE HAD PAID IN SEPTEMBER.THEY WANT ANOTHER CREDIT CARD PAYMENT ABOVE THE ***** BEFORE THEY WILL REFUND THE *****.00 THAT WE ORIGINALLY PAID.WE NEVER HAD A GENERATOR IN OUR POSSESION OR INSTALLED, THE COSTCO KIOSK SAYS IT GENERATOR SUPER CENTER THAT WE NEED TO GO THROUGH BUT THE CHARGE WAS THROUGH COSTCO.VERY DISAPPOINTING

      Costco delivered a Dishwasher that my sister and I purchased for our 88 year old mom as a Mother Day gift this May, they sent out their contracted installers to install the dishwasher and it has been a Nightmare ever since. The dishwasher was installed and the water supply line leaked Afterwards destroying my moms hardwood floors. The dishwasher was removed and till this day 9/22 its still sitting in my mom garage. Meanwhile everyone is playing the Blame Game.The installer claims that GE Electric supply line was defective , GE claims installer stripped the connections when attaching to water line, and Costco is not stepping up to the plate and dealing with this issue. Four months later after numerous emails , pictures and video documentation of the damage floor, video showing the supply line leaking we havent had any resolutions. We have Received estimates on the low side of less than $2,400, but a big company like Costco hasnt Responded. My mom homeowner insurance shouldnt cover this , she will be out of the$1,500 Deductible as well as face a insurance premium increase due to a claim that should be paid by someone else ie: Costco at this point. P.S. The one star is too generous of a rating..they didnt have less.

      On 09.18.2023 I tried to return toilet paper at the ****** warehouse. The customer service *****, *****, and **** refused the return, saying it wasn't allowed in the rule. Where does that come from? I asked reasonably for them to show me the rule written somewhere, cause the only one I see right on the top is "100% Satisfaction Guarantee". And they arrogantly refused. INSTEAD, they asked me to show my receipt - which I did have in my bag, and asked me to show my membership card -- which I also did. They still held a suspicious look assuming I was somehow abusing the return policy because I'm Asian. They still wanted to run my membership card to check my purchase history like a freaking policeman. This is not the right attitude towards customers and never have I come across this process. I didn't freaking pay the $120 annual executive membership fee for this racist attitude!My previous return experience at other Costco warehouses has always been smooth and satisfying. They are usually people of color and understand customers' scenarios. My impression of Costco henceforth has been brilliant. However, in the ****** store, all of them were so racist and biased. Their arrogant and inappropriate attitude towards customers absolutely disgusted and infuriated me.This should not be the representation of the Costco brand. I looked up the website everywhere and the only rule is "100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE" and I am not satisfied, with this attitude and their product!!!

      Beware don't book vacation through costco. The worst company to deal with their prices are extremely higher than priceline or expedia. Very poor customer service.
