This company still reporting inaccurate information on my consumer credit report. I don't have any contract with this collection agency "Convergent Outsourcing Inc" I have previously requested proof and documentation bearing my signature. Wheres the proof that I had a legal obligation to pay this company?Your continued derogatory reporting of this alleged account in my credit report is a form of punishment and hurts my chances of improving my living situation.       I saw the business reply. However, I do not understand why I was never contacted by TSI and why Convergent is still claiming that they own it. 

      I contacted Convergent on Monday and I was told that the dispute is valid and the account was closed. I went to 2 ******* stores (as I was told) to get the final bill but the system showed the debt and the account was locked.

      I called ******* on Tuesday morning and I was told that ********************** owns the debt. 

      I do not understand why there are so many accounts involved and how TSI responded to the complaint. Could you please advise what the next steps should be?

      This is a formal complaint against CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING located in ******, **. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable collection account on all 3 of my credit reports, TRANSUNION, EXPERIAN AND EQUIFAX and not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have refused to validate per my request under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for nearly a year now, CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit reports. I am well aware of the many, many other complaints filed against this

      ******* Wireless, through Convergent Outsourcing, has attempted to collect on an alleged $8k debt owed to my client Mr. ************************** ******* alleges that ******************** owes this debt from an accumulation of costs/expenses from August 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022. ******************** has at all times been current on his ******* Wireless bill. My office has attempted to dispute this debt with Convergent Outsourcing but received no responsive communication. Instead, Convergent sold the debt to another company, I.C. ************* who is now also trying to collect on the debt. My office, on behalf of ********************, has also disputed the debt with all three credit reporting bureaus. To date, no corrective action has been taken by *******, Convergent, or IC ************ ******************** does not, and has never, had an account open with ******* under the alleged account number and would not incur the debts alleged. Convergent, *******, and now I.C. Systems has ignored all attempts to resolve this matter and their failure has negatively impacted my client's credit report and debt/income ratios. Collection should cease immediately, Convergent should be penalized for selling the debt to I.C. Systems, and ********************' credit score should be restored to its pre-collection status.

      This is a formal complaint that Convergent Outsourcing Account# ******** has been reporting inaccurate and incomplete account information to my credit file. I am distressed that Convergent Outsourcing have included the referenced inaccurate information on my credit profile. Convergent Outsourcing have failed to maintain reasonable procedures in their operations to assure maximum possible accuracy in the credit information they report. This account has been paid in full and should not be reflecting negative on my credit files. I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with you for the purpose of filing a complaint to the *** if the non-compliance continues. Like, Wenger ** ****************** No. 95-6445 (C.D.Cal. No** 14,1995), Convergent Outsourcing may be liable for your willful non-compliance. Credit reporting laws ensure that bureaus report only 100% accurate credit information. Every step must be taken to assure the information reported is completely accurate and correct. The following information therefore needs to be reinvestigated. I respectfully request to be provided proof of this alleged item, specifically the original application, contract, note or other instrument bearing my signature. Failing that, the items must be deleted from the report as soon as possible. Under federal law, you have 30 days to complete your reinvestigation. Be advised that the description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information is hereby requested as well. I do not validate this debt. Therefore, the following accounts must be deleted from my report. Failure to respond satisfactorily with deletion of the above referenced account and a free copy of my report after the changes have been made will result in the above actions being taken against your company. This account is inaccurate under 15 U.S.C. ****g validation of debt. Please expedite the removal.
