I am rejecting this response because: I have already mailed the class administrator in writing as per their request to reissue my check to my updated address provided in this complaint
I am not sure why they are saying they have not received the reissue request in writing. This complaint which is put in writing should also provide clear provide documentation to the class admin that i am requesting the reissue of the check. If they can provide an email i can send a request there as well. So i encourage them to do the right thing and mail the settlement payment

My Equifax Breach Settlement Claim of PHCX3GW4QZ says via the website that it has been paid on 12/19. It has not been paid because I do not have any emails from them. As the claims settlement administrator, this company has ignored my request for a detailed status report on a claim filed 90 days ago, despite available funds deriving from a class action settlement (Mercedes-Benz Emissions Litigation). They are clearly understaffed and taking advantage of their near-monopoly situation in this business category.Business Response

I have a claim in the Equifax settlement, #D6297-W8HBM.On Oct. 7, 2022, JND emailed direct deposit instructions to do by Oct. 14, but if I chose to have a check, it would be mailed unless I replied by Oct.14 for direct depost. I emailed the company twice in December and have gotten no answer. I think this is a con game, this company's reviews show many others being deceived.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The answer was vague, it is already mid December. I want to know when the check will be mailed, a definite date. I do not believe this company. If really mailing the check in December, why didn't they answer my two emails asking when the check will be mailed. I am requesting an actual date for when MY check will be mailed. The answer from the business continues the deception. It is the complaintants money, not JND's.

I am part of the ************ settlement, and my information was compromised by the breach, settlement became final as September of 2022, and all appeals have been resolved, i was informed payments were to sent out out to us starting this fall 2022, all documents submitted and resubmitted to the administrator, settlement payment has yet been set to me i have also contacted the *** regarding refunds issued as of September 2022 and why i am continually being told no payments have gone out yet because of appeals not being resolved and was informed all appeals have been resolved. So they submitted a complaint regarding this matter and being a victim of identity thefty I have no Trust in anyone when the information is not matching. Settlement also became final because I had received my credit monitoring already and it clearly states only when settlement becomes final. After speaking with administrator from JDL ***** who infact confirmed i do have a pre-paid card regarding settlement reimbursement but yet has been mailed out to me. That information was told to me in October 19 of 2022. I am seeking assistance with retrieving my settlement from the ************ breach settlementBusiness Response

JND is the settlement administrator for the Equifax ***************. My claim number is PR6TJ-3LHKF. I have completed the requirements for the ************ Breach and was informed by JND that my claim was deficient stating I failed to provide receipt with my name included. I not only provided multiple receipts I was included a copy of my bank statement showing the bulk of my out of pocket expenses. All documentation clearly included my name, amount paid, etc. I have called several times and each time I am read a already scripted general statement. Supervisors are never available & when I finally get a call back I am again given general information. It is almost as if the company tries to make it hard to get any where to keep consumers from receiving the approved settlement. I see several other consumers have filed like ************** plan on filing a complaint with the ********** if this is not resolved immediately. I was told today that I have to resubmit the same documents I've submitted numerous times by 10/21/2022 even though I've been reaching out to JND NUMEROUSSSSSS times and get no where but general information.Business Response

*************************** filed an ************ Breach Settlement Initial Claims Period claim requesting an alternate compensation cash payment,10 hours of time spent, and $1,274.24 in money spent. She responded on May 30, 2022 but the additional documentation provided did not cure the deficiency on her claim. No documentation has been submitted for some of the money claimed and the documentation submitted is not fairly traceable to the ************ Breach. **************** was issued a partial denial notice on September 21, 2022. We spoke with **************** on October 19, 2022, went over the status and deficiencies on her claim, and reminded her that she can file an appeal of the partial denial of her claim by October 21, 2022. I am rejecting this response because:JND is not being transparent and lacks integrity with the reasons provided for my denial. I was issued a Notice of insufficient documentation, because *** said I did not include my name on the receipt provided. JND overlooked my name which was clearly included on my receipt provided. I resubmitted my receipt along with a copy of my bank statement which included my name and the actual charge which matched the receipt. I informed JND that what I submitted included my name the 1st time and I also included my bank statement with the matching information. After *** examined this was indeed true, JND seemed to scramble for other reasons and I was informed well I never submitted a statement stating these charges were a result of the ************ Breach. I was informed to type and submit a statement for this to be approved. For JND to state the documentation is not fairly traceable to ************ Breach is bogus and I feel a ploy to dismiss my claim. There is no question my information was not protected and affected by the ************ Breach. There is no question time and money was spent in relation to this breach. For JND to continue to not do their due diligence, to administer settlements unprofessionally, and to have so many complaints of the same nature causes me to question if they are administering settlements correctly. I intend of filing a complaint with the **** & FTC if this is not resolved quickly. I have documented all of my efforts and communication attempts concerning this ************ Breach and with JND. I called and confirmed my appeal was received. I was told there is no time frame for processing, which is not right. I have been in constant contact with JND and get general to no responses. I will utilize whatever avenues I have until this is resolved.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:JND chooses to further delay the processing of my claim. Clearly my name was on my receipt provided along with my bank statement showing the exact charge. JND has failed to review my documentation properly & has shown a history of doing this exact same thing with various other consumers. *** has received numerous complaints from consumers stating JND issues deficiencies when the consumer has provided the proper documentation. Conveniently, JND has called me each time they have responded to this BBB complaint only to state they still have NOT processed my complaint & there is no timeframe to do so. This company has some horrible business practices & I intend of filing a complaint with every entity available.
