I ordered a swimsuit for my 7 year old daughter. They sent an adult sweatshirt. I called and an exchange was started. They sent me the same ugly sweatshirt the second time. I called again. Both times I had to make a trip to return the same ugly item I didn't order and they never sent what I did order. The packing slip both times listed an order date a year ago. No assurance was given that they would look into the problem. Hopefully I'll at least get my initial money back. My daughter is disappointed, I'm out time and gas x2. And I'm sure if I tried again it would happen the same way again as it seems there is no desire for the company to fix this issue.Nordstrom, Inc.

1 starI dont know if Nordstroms is trying to save money, or what! I ordered some Fendi shoes ($850) and the delivery company they are using cant get through the main gate of my community. Some shipping company called LSO. They keep sending my package back saying they dont have access. We dont have this problem with *********** DHL, AMAZON, ***** etcI have no idea who LSO is! I didnt recommend everyone I know to buy anything from Nordstrom anymore. They dont have any solution for lost package. Which is ***** ship to wrong address. They refused to refund my money for $4,000 packages. I have call and explain and I have 5 *** cameras to prove that no ***** ship anything to us. The story starts with I placed order for a YSL bag. On 12 January at *****, I got the email said my package delivered. But we didnt receive anything. I call to Nordstrom they said the people who name ****** have signed ***** received. I have walk and ask everyone on business building but no one got my package. After that, They have investigated and refused a refund. They refused to see the *** prove that on jan 12, the ***** truck parking infort of my restaurant and loading a package for anther room. Then, the truck run out without come to my door or walk-in my restaurant. The ***** guy in a short pants never come to dropping anything packages. However, I dont know why Nordstrom didnt carefully investigate and work with customer who have full evidence on ***. I offer to share an online *** access to see. Sadly they refuse to cooperate and refuse a refund I need the Nordstrom issue a refundNordstrom, Inc.

1 starI received a knit sweater that had a giant hole in the back, and was covered in pet fur. It was very clear to me that this was a return that shouldve been damaged out, but was sent to me instead. Customer service refused to send a replacement (no store near me had it in stock), or even offer a price adjustment especially when a competitor was selling it for $14 cheaper. Their reasoning was because I had used afterpay, but no where on their website does it say I couldnt receive a replacement or price adjustment based on my payment type. Honestly, this company has gone downhill. I used to work for this company so Im very familiar with all of their policies and I continued to shop here because of how they stood behind their products. As of late they seem to have made their exchange/return policy super vague and it is no longer you can return or exchange anything without a time limit. I purchased a pair of designer sandals for $500 from them and only wore them about 3 times before they broke. I went in to try and exchange them for the same exact pair and they refused it and made up some return policy of 40 days not worn for designer shoes. Im sorry but $500 shoes should not be breaking after 3 wears. Honestly, terrible customer service now and I will never purchase a designer item from them again. The actual designers themselves have better return/exchange policies.Nordstrom, Inc.

We have more specific return parameters for designer purchases listed on our website: "Designer items can only be returned if they are in the same condition as purchased and with all tags attached." Because the item had signs of wear and was not in the same condition as purchased, the return could not be accepted. Horrendous experience today at ********* Nordstrom by two managers **** and ****. Neither would take my merchandise that was purchased just over a week ago in the US in perfect conditions and all tags attached simply because it was bought in the US. Apparently this is a new policy?! Nowhere on the Nordstrom return policy or website is this communicated. Neither of these managers would even offer a gift card where they could easily take the product and sell it in store. I was told to return it back in the US. Funny how you can return the same product without a tag and they would happily return it. Backwards policy. Very upset customer. ******************** has lost my business forever.Nordstrom, Inc.

Long time Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack customer. Placed online order with ship date. Days later received email about shipping delay. Days later received email cancelling two items. No offer of help finding comparable items, Contacted customer service. Offered small discount on items too large to be used. Had more questions, including about any shipping charges because items were cancelled, but received cryptic, incomplete response from different CSR. No offer of help or discount against future comparable items when in stock. Why take orders when you cant verify items shown as available really are? Other online retailers Ive purchased from dont do this. Items were gifts that now will go unfulfilled. Missed out ordering from other retailers because this order initially appeared confirmed. Poor resolution and business practice. In the future, confirm and hold items the customer has ordered, please.Based on the reviews here, am now waiting to see if I will even receive the remaining items and the charges for the out of stock items cancelled. Sad that you now have to worry about a company once known for impeccable customer service. Hope this gets resolved so I can update that they still do a good job for the customer.Nordstrom, Inc.

I was shopping in the Nordstroms on Michigan avenue. I wanted to buy a pair of jeans that they didnt have in stock in my size at that location. ****** the sales rep assured me the pants were in stock and encouraged me to buy two sizes and return the size that didnt fit. So I purchased two pairs. She recommended that they be shipped to my home (not the store). However, the jeans that I purchased never arrived. When I tracked the shipment, the US postal service tracking and Nordstroms website stated that the clothes were delivered to a parcel locker. However, I live in a single family home and there is no parcel locker at my single family home. Moreover, my home has a security gate that is only accessible if me or my wife grant ***** via a video surveillance system. We monitored packages the entire week and we received all packages that we ordered except the pants purchased from Nordstrom. Upon notifying Nordstrom, they informed me that they we not liable and I needed to file a criminal complaint or a complaint with ***** First, the package was never delivered. Second, they never informed me of their ridiculous liability policy upfront, otherwise I would have opted to have had the pants shipped to the store. Third, I tried filing a complaint with ***** but Im unable to file a complaint because I dont have the necessary information because I wasnt the shipper AND UPSP doesnt accept complaints on packages of the priority level that Nordstrom chose. Therefore, Nordstrom has stolen $385 of my hard earned money. This is beyond immoral and wrong, its criminal. I have spoken with the department manager, the store manager and headquarters. I advise that no one shop there again!Nordstrom, Inc.

My husband had bought a designer handbag, on the 15th of December at ***************** Nordstrom and was unaware that the handbag had a scuff **** on the outside. I was unable to go with my husband the day he went to get the designer bag. And the designer manager denied him the return and he had spent almost $2,000.00 on this handbag! I went in the next day and reached out by phone, and still both the department manger was rude and inconsiderate to the fact that this handbag was sold under this condition! Not only were the employees extremely rude but it seemed as if the employees did not understand how customer service works and/or professionalism and quality!Nordstrom, Inc.

1 starNordstrom offers "free shipping, free returns in the stores, or free shipping back" without any disclosure that the in-store returns are accepted only at the store manager's discretion and that they do not provide any insurance on their "free" return shipping. So if your return package is damaged or lost in the mail, there is no guarantee that you will ever get your money back for theitem that was returned.Furthermore, if the store manager of your ******** chooses - for whatever reason - to not accept your returns in the store, even if the item was never worn and youhave the original packaging and the receipt, then you will have to buy shipping boxes, pay for insured shipping, and only then will you receive the money for your returns at a much laterdate (if the items are actuallytransportedwithout issue by the mail carrier).In my case, the new manager of Nordstrom store #9, *********************** (and her assistant *****) obnoxiously offered to have my returns SHIPPED to her store instead of just accepting them there at the customer service desk. ********************'s vague return policy (at the store manager's decision) allows people like the aforementioned manager to discriminate against customers and cover up their actions by corporate policies and shifting the responsibilityfor her decisions by referencing some undisclosed corporate employee.
