1 starordered item off a baby registry; item was delivered to me instead of the mother; answered a knock on my door and there was the item; never saw a delivery man; contacted Amazon; after much runaround Amazon hung up on me and refused to issue refund; also I found out that they had opened up an account with me without my knowledge; after more runaround they (apparently) did close the account but still did not correct there delivery mistakeReview fromLinka M

1 starThis is not a review it is a complaint. I purchased items from Amazon and requested a refund which I received, however I did not know they were issuing a refund lieu of returning my money to the cc I used for purchase. They advised me I choose this option which is not true. They have the gift card refund box pre-checked which should be illegal. I never noticed this nor was aware I have received gift cards as I assume my cc on file is used for all purchases until other people told me they have experienced the same thing. I cannot use that gift card to pay my bill I have to use it to purchase more Amazon products. I wanted to file this as a complaint but was not able to do so and can't figure out why.Review fromEric R

1 star**************** has DEPLETED! I cancelled my membership and will possibly delete all associated accounts. There is no such thing as on time delivery with this Company anymore! All orders are delayed, even if you pay Prime membership fees. Amazon has went down quickly with customer service. It was better when *** or **** delivered their items. Now that they have their own delivery trucks, it has been HORRIBLE. I will definitely use ******* for my shopping needs going forward. This is of course when shopping for items that I would have purchased on Amazon. Again, horrible company and they continue to decline!Review fromTracey H

1 starMy name is ************************* I ordered a couch from Balus shops I thought this was amazon but it was actually a third party seller . After taking out box and putting together, I realize I can't sit on this comfortably and I did not like at all. So I requested refund. Amazon provided me the return slip and I printed it off and put on box bought a postage stamp and scheduled a pick up through fed ex..and sent it on its way. This is back on April 27... Now it is may 17... The seller quickly reached out to me and asked would I take a partial refund I declined because it wasn't at all what I thought it would be...so I'm waiting for responses mind you every other day or couple of days from this seller...asking them did you get my package because I would like my refund so I can purchase a different couch that I would like being six months pregnant I want to be comfortable so I keep getting run around so I filed a a to z claim on Amazon to recoup my funds...so I'm telling them my issues mind you every other day a to z wants more info...then finally I think I'm going to get my refund on may 11 a to z asks what my shipping costs are I tell them I received a postage return already and just bought a stamp..I even screen shot them the return slip..so a few more days go by a tonz says that I did not respond and you can clearly see I did ...so I'm thinking this is crazy I've never ever had this traumatizing experience with Amazon ever...I've always liked what I have received...I feel like a to z is not on my side and we're not even paying attention to what I've said. I finally had to appeal because then they say I'm not eligible for a refund now..so all this conflicting info and they even say I did not reach out to seller when you can see all my messages back and forth for days. Why would I make a claim of I didn't try with seller first...so now I have no couch and no money even kept getting told by chat associates that my refund would be back within three to five days.. more lies ??Review fromLinda L.

1 starI no longer have an account with **********************. #1 they sent my daughter the wrong thing I ordered not once but twice! Never tried to make it right and took down a review about the seller. This past Mother's Day, 2023. #2 my Daughter sent me cookies that I like. Stale and broken. Expiration date was Jan 2023. I posted this on FB. It was removed. I will NEVER have another account with this business again! Anything negative gets removed. I am sure this will be removed as well.Review fromTorah W.

1 starI have been a customer on ********************** for probably about 7 years. When I leave a review I should be allowed to leave positive and negative reviews. But I noticed that when I leave a negative review following their guidelines they never post a negative review from me warning people about certain products yet, they allow other people customers to post negative reviews this is discrimination when you allow one person to do one thing but you don't allow another person to do it if both customers all customers are following the guidelines then you should not be penalizing them that would be discrimination when you treat them differently.I consider myself a professional when it comes to discrimination I have literally had to get a lawyer and go to court on it so therefore, I definitely know what discrimination is and I know when I'm being discriminated against.Because of this and I also got a letter in the email from Amazon stating that I'm doing too many returns well if the product is broken or something's missing or something's wrong yes I'm going to return the item it seems that Amazon doesn't want me as a customer.Therefore I'm going to cancel my account on ********************** I don't need to shop on Amazon there are plenty of other online websites that I can shop.If this is how I am going to be treated then I don't need to give this company my business I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars on Amazon and to be treated this way is appalling.I don't know who's doing the customer service for ********************** but the quality of their customer service has gone way down their policies have changed I used to love to shop Amazon now I'm not happy shopping there at all so I'm canceling my account as of today and I just want people to know that this is what they are doing in case it's happening to them as well that is discrimination you have the right to post negative reviews you have the right to get refunds in which I have always done.Review fromTanya M

1 starIf I could give Amazon a 0 I would. I started recently as a content creator for their website for KDP. I Published a few books, and then I purchased books that I created and spent lots of money, only for them to close my kdp account, for no good reason. Supposedly I have broken their rules, but no real explanation as to exactly why and which books I published were in violation. I make all my original creations on Canva, and I have no copyright issues. I played by the rules, and I even sent them proof via digitally sent documentations. I never copied anybody's creations and used trusted resources to create my composition notebook designs and my 2 coloring books, that I was so proud of. My husband even has a business and he wanted to create books for our business, and all we have to show for it are 2 notebooks, that should be arriving today. And I am not even sure if they will be delivered today if they shut down my account completely and taken down all my designs. I am a loyal customer for **********************, they can even check my purchase history. But somehow one way or another I keep getting disappointed by them. The customer service for ******************** is completely horrible. Also the messed up part is I am an Amazon prime customer and I was also a publisher recently and they had me pay for shipping and today they are finally delivering my books and it took about 2 weeks to send me my items even though I have Amazon Prime. I am so disappointed. I ordered two coloring books that I created and three composition notebooks that I created on Amazon kdp publishing site, and they closed my account. It defeats the point of why I purchased them in the first place. I was purchasing these books in hopes to gain sales when I advertise my book and show people my creation by word of mouth. I am currently pregnant, about to be due in July, and I am trying to make an honest living off of my creations with Amazon. I am so disgusted by them, of how quickly they are willing to get rid of people.Review fromCandy C

1 starI had three charges come out of my bank account for items not received. I cancelled and two charges for same item I did not even order. I have talked to so many people and you never get the same answer. Its obvious they dont care. They are yet to refund my money after days and days. Its hard to get to a real person and most of the time the customer service reps could not speak good English. It is ridiculous. I will never order from them again. 1 starGot sent the wrong pants been fighting and arguing with Amazon and dxl to get the right ones said it would be here in 3 days nothing happened said may 8th or 9th nothing they cancelled it turns out they never had them in stock and it's been over a month still waiting for my money meeting with district attorney today to get a court date
