      My non-for-profit theatre organization has used Brown Paper Tickets since 2016. We have always had great services with them up until the last 5 months or so. We signed up back in 2018 for their direct deposit program which ensures payment 10 days after the closing of our event. Our organization helps high school students have an advanced theatre opportunity over the summer months. In May it took over three weeks for a direct deposit to be initiated for a show we closed in mid April. On July 17th we closed a local theatre production of Hairspray using Brown Paper Tickets as our main source for on-line ticket sales. I have tired to contact them now 4 times with no response. All phone services are down and we have heard nothing more than an automatic generated conformation that our emails have been received. Currently, Brown Paper Tickets owes our theatre company $17,800! That is over 40% of our operating budget for our production(s). The lack of response from BPT has directly impacted our non-for-profit business and the function of our everyday program which directly impacts students. Brown Paper Tickets owes my organization $17,808 to date. If they refuse to pay this amount we are prepared to take legal action.

      I was advised to use Brown Paper Tickets for the premiere of a production in ******** earlier this year. The event ended over a month ago, and although I have previously used BPT with no issues, I have not received payment or any communication from the team. They owe us nearly $10,000. We worked on publicizing the event for the better part of a year, and our supporters are outraged to hear the allegations against BPT-- let alone the people we need to pay upon receiving ticket sales. Had there been any sort of contact from BPT, it would have been easy to wait patiently while they adjusted their timeline. Given the lack of communication, though, I am starting to be concerned, and seeing my concerns echoed in the complaints below me is even worse. Please let me know when we can expect our payment. Thank you.

      We used Brown Paper Tickets as a ticketing platform for an event for our 501 c(6) non-profit. We have worked with them prior to COVID without any issue, with prompt payment within days of our events. Payment from our 07/12/22 event has not been received. We have contacted them 3x, resulting in an online search today that led to our discovery of their current history of non-payment. They owe our non-profit $4,899.19 for our July 12, 2022 event, and an additional $1,805.00 (+) sales tax for pre-sales for our September 16, 2022 event. We have stopped publication of their ticketing link for our September event so as not to incur further sales through their ticketing platform.

      We are a musical ensemble, The Masters of ******** We are the performance chorus of the ******************* Chapter of the Barbershop **************** On June 26, 2022, we held our annual show in ********, **. We used Brown Paper Tickets as our on-line ticket vendor. Brown Paper tickets gave us excellent on-line support prior to the show. We had a successful show and according to the Brown Paper Tickets site, they collected $18,454.31 for us after their ticket fees. This money was supposed to be paid to us within 10 days to two weeks. As of today (8/3/22) we have been paid nothing. The do not have active phone support. I have sent four email inquiries to the company and have not received any response. We have become aware through the BBB site as well as ******** groups that others are experiencing similar difficulties. We need assistance in getting the money owed to us. We have paid our vendors and without this money, our organization may fold.

      Hi, I had a dance concert June 26th where tickets were purchased using Brown Paper Tickets. The Event is ************************* ************* Recital, June 26th at 4:00 pm. Sales ended with 67 tickets sold value $670 should had been paid to me. On the 27th I received an email from Brown Paper Tickets with the following content:Your event has ended and we hope it was a success! We strive to send funds collected through Brown Paper Tickets' credit card processing within ten (10) business days; however, please note that we are currently experiencing delays. You will receive an email notification when that payment is processed.I have not received any notification regarding my funds. I sent another email 7/30 and received another email with the same comments as the previous email.See below:Thank you for contacting Brown Paper Tickets. This is an automated response confirming that we have received your message *************************".One of our expert staff members will be in touch as soon as possible.Please Note:- Due to the impact of COVID-19, phone support has been suspended until further notice.? - Though you may not receive a direct response to this message, we will send confirmations via email as refunds and payments are issued.It is over a month now and I have not heard from this ticket company. Please help, I would greatly appreciate it

I received an email from Brown Paper Tickets August 2nd regarding money from my ticket sales will be deposited into my account within two days.       **************************** held a recital on May 22, 2022. Brown Paper Tickets was engaged to manage our online tickets sales which totaled $13230.00. BPT charged our patrons $1.49 + 6%, including delivery and credit card processing. Brown Paper Tickets states that it will issue payment for ticket sales either via check or direct deposit into an account 10 days after your event. While Brown has both our bank account/routing number and mailing address on file, over two months later we have yet to receive payment. We have sent multiple emails which have gone unanswered short of computer generated responses.       Under the name of *************** we used Brown Paper Tickets on June 26th, 2022, to sell our events tickets. The event was at Tateuchi Hall in *************, **********. It was costly but provided an opportunity for 26 musicians to go on the stage (almost all of them performed for the first time). The total amount of $2574 was raised from this event. Brown Paper Tickets was supposed to direct deposit this fee about two weeks after the concert as they have told us in their website. 36 days has passed and we have not received the fee hold by Brown Paper Tickets. We contacted Brown Paper Tickets but received no response. We appreciate resolving this issue as fast as possible!

      My non-profit theater group has not been paid for the ticket sales for an event we held on June *****, 2022. We have used this company in the past for our event and did not have an issue getting reimbursement. Their business model, as stated on the website, says that 10 days after your event they will issue payment for ticket sales either via check or direct deposit into an account. We gave them our bank account routing number and have been waiting for the deposit. We had total ticket sales on the website of $9050. I have written them several emails and have received only a automated someone will get back to you response.Attached is a screenshot of the page on their site showing our sales

      I held a Ballet performance on June 29, using BPT to handle all ticket sales. Their policy clearly states that payment will be issued within ten days of the event ending, but that delays may occur during this time. So I waited until over ten days had passed, and contacted them regarding when I could expect payment. I received the "We're working on it, hopefully soon" message. So I have tried to be patient. But it has now been a full month and I still have not received payment and my attempts to contact them have been unsuccessful. There needs to be a better system set up so that the proceeds from events are not held up and unavailable to organizations for this long. The funds from my event were supposed to cover facility rental as well as other performance costs but I do not have access to the money. This is unacceptable. I am hoping for this to be resolved quickly.
