      I am the treasurer for the ******** Institute for Contemporary Art. We set up an account with **********************. We held 3 events in 2023: JazzFest ******** August 3-5 FunkFest August 26 ****************** September ***** BrownPaperTickets is holding $9,415 worth of ticket sales. The phone number is only a recording. The email support only provides Case ID numbers: ******, ******, and ****** Can you assist us? What are your recommendations?

      Please see the attachment.  You will notice that once BrownPaperTickets (***) received the BBB inquiry they sent $80 to our deposit account.  Yes, the $80 was received. However, as I pull up the *** report the remaining $9,335.00 is not scheduled for payment.  There has been no additional correspondence from *** other than the case ID numbers provided with the complaint. I still have reservations they will make payments on the outstanding balance.

      We haven't received our payment from Brown Paper Tickets. We are owed $5,577 in sales. We have tried to contact them, but they haven't reached out to us or returned any of our emails.

      My name is *******************************. I am president of the board of directors for ***** Community Theatre, a not-for-profit theater organization in *****, ********. We have been using brown paper tickets for years to sell tickets for our productions with no issues. We have had 4 events since the beginning of 2023 that we have sold our tickets through Brown Paper Tickets. According to the website, and all previous years of using this site, we generally get paid no later than 2 weeks after an event. We have yet to receive a deposit into our account this entire year. As of 9/21/2023, Brown Paper owes ** at ***** Community Theatre $10,570. This money is our money. Brown Paper already took their cut of the money and have not released our funds. These funds are crucial to our existence as we rely on funds from shows to continue. I have reached out to Brown Paper Tickets and their new owner, Events.com for help with no response. I have tried to call the numbers on their sites with no answer. I have threatened legal action with no response. I need your help with this.Thank you!***********************

      My fitness center, *********** ******* Fitness Studio, used Brown Paper Tickets as a ticket agent for showcases in June 2023. Total ticket sales were $2400 net, not including the fees they collected. Even more frustrating than not having been paid after three months (not in line with their stated policy,) is that NO ONE responds other than an automated response. They have no phone number listed and it is impossible to reach out other than email. As a business owner, I could understand if they are behind in payments, but they need to be mandated to have a better customer service option than just sitting by waiting for someone to reply.

      Our roller derby team, the Gainesville Roller Rebels, has used BrownPaperTickets for 5 events over April-September of this year, but have not received payment for any of them. By their own account, they owe us a total of $3048 in ticket sales, which should be deposited within 10 days of each event. I made sure our banking information and paypal was up to date, and contacted customer service via email on August 21st, 2023 requesting that they deposit our funds. We received an automated response with a Case ID (#******* indicating that they would reach out 'as soon as possible', but never received a response.

      Like the person who complained before me, we used Brown Paper Tickets for ticketing for 8 performances. We were told we would be paid 10 business days after the event closed. It has now been over a month. I have sent 3 email requests to Support which have not been answered, other than an auto-response. They have discontinued their phone support.

      I threw a 4 day event in late August spanning from August 24 through the 27th (************************************************ ) that grossed $1885 in ticket sales. Per the website, they promised to pay me the above amount within 10 business days. At the time of this filing, it's been 13 days and I have not received an email and I'm not able to contact them via phone to figure out what's going on.

      Brown Paper Ticket collected money and service fees for tickets for two shows my band, The Cookies, performed on 8/25/23 in ********, **, and on 8/26/23 in *******, **. They have not paid ** for the ticket sales, which is in excess of $6000.00. They no longer have a phone number that allows you to speak with someone. It is an unmonitored recording referring you to *********************************************************** I am not receiving replies to my emails to that address. BPT account number is *******.

      A Propos LLC produced a show "Nos Annees Paralleles" in April/May 2023 and used Brown Paper Tickets for ticketing purposes. A total number of 144 tickets were sold through their services and Brown Paper Tickets, after its commission, owes A Propos LLC a total of $3888. This amount was supposed to be paid 10 business days after the show (May 2nd). Despite our multiple requests, we have not yet received any significant answer (only automated answers, one of them mentioning a "case number" of ******), nor been contacted by their staff. Your help to recover this amount would be greatly appreciated.
