      Don't use Brown Paper Tickets. They will not pay you after the event. Our non-profit used them recently and has not been successful in our requests for payment from our ticket sales. Also, there is no one to call, and no one responds to email support requests. This was a reputable company in the past, but this is no longer true.

      We have been using BPT to sell tickets for events since 2018. I most recently created and sold tickets to an event in December 2022. I've never had a problem with BPT before, but now I haven't received my money nearly two months after my event.... and there has been no response from their customer support email team. At this point I'm wondering if we will receive our payout of $2,800. I almost went with another company - and they mentioned to me that BPT was out of business, but when I reached out to them (after having received one of their "NEW EVENTS IN YOUR AREA" emails - I reached out to them directly via email to ask if they were still operating and received a resounding "YES". But what they don't tell you is they're operating to collect your money - but they won't distribute your payouts. Had I known they were in a major lawsuit - I would have NEVER started back up with them. WHY are they allowed to take new events while knowing all along they have no intention to payout quickly. Prior to this mishap - I would receive my monies within 2 weeks after closing a show, but now - it's been over 2 months and we have not received anything! Businesses are relying on their service and they knowingly aren't fulfilling what they say they are offering. I had to take my paycheck to pay out my cast and crew and now I am facing foreclosure on my home. HELP! Brown Paper Tickets - I can not believe you all are doing us like this! We are a small Mom & Pop Theatre Troupe and you have confirmed that you no longer wish to have business. SEND ME MY MONEY and we'll part our ways!

      We have been using BPT to sell tickets for events since 2016. I most recently created and sold tickets to an event in Oct 2022. I've never had a problem with BPT before, but now I haven't received my money nearly two months after my event.... and there has been no response from their customer support email team. I obviously got nervous about receiving our $2240....and within two seconds of googling realized they are in major lawsuit and haven't paid all of their ***************. Since they only collect a fee of the event, there is no reason for them to continue to take new events while knowing they are not paying promptly. Businesses are relying on their service and they knowingly aren't fulfilling what they say they are offering.

      I will always use Brown Paper Tickets to sell my tickets for any event. The client service is excellent and responsive. I strongly recommend BPT for their ticket services.

      If you're buying tickets online, use Brown Paper Tickets. I'm very pleased with the transaction's simplicity and ease. Mobile tickets are delivered quickly. A concert was once postponed due to inclement weather, and I was informed.

      Brown Paper Tickets made it so easy to buy tickets online to an upcoming concert. The website was easy to use, the process was secure and I received my tickets via email right away.

      The absolute worst company. I purchased tickets in March 2020 for a community theater show, as I have many times. The show was the following day but was cancelled due to Covid concerns. I immediately contacted Brown Paper Tickets for a refund and could not reach any customer service. This was before the mandatory shut down. I received an automatic response email "please bear with us". I emailed again when my credit card used for the transaction expired and never received any response other than an automated "please bear with us." The same automated message for 2 years and 7 months. This company is an absolute scam. They have kept funds into the millions that were procured by others fundraising efforts. I wish I could give them zero stars because that is what they have earned.

      I have enjoyed this service in the past to sell ticket and collect funds for community events. However i am still waiting for payment for an event I held on August 27, 2022. I fear this company may be out of business or have moved to the dark side based on other reviews I have read. Like me, many others are waiting for payments months after their events. Fortunately they only owe me $1300. Others are reporting that are left holding the bag for multiple thousands of dollars.

      Do not use BPT. I used them for an event in June 2022, more than 3 months later we've still not been paid
