I paid for parking via the app when I entered the parking lot. When I came back to my car, there was a parking citation for unpaid parking at 4 times the rate that I paid. This is 100% a predatory clown service. On Sunday, 10/20/24, I was driving through ********* in *******, and my 2 year old toddler had an emergency scenario around noon in which he s*** all over himself - basically as a parent running solo I frantically needed to find any where to briefly get out and find a bathroom ASAP to clean him up. Remember, this was around noon in the middle of the day on a Sunday. Not only that, but this this parking lot did not have any signs visible anywhere letting people know that they would be ticketed. (There were literally no hourly rates listed - only $15 evenings and a towing notice). Once I was able to find a public restroom and clean him up shortly afterwards, I came back literally at 12:23 PM with a $65 ticket listed at 12:17 PM. This is literally the second f****** time in 3 years this absolute clown of a service has ticketed for ridiculous, comical practices. The first time I was literally parked in my OWN gym's parking lot, USING my OWN GYM for not even an HOUR, and I received the same type of ******** ticket then. Do not trust this company - they are absolute garbage and deserve to be driven out of business. My name is ***, and I am an Area Manager for Diamond Parking. I oversee this area of ******* for Diamond Parking. I wanted to take a moment to respond to you regarding your notice from October 20th, 2024.
Diamond Parking manages this parking lot for ******** in the ***************************** This location is Reserved during Banking hours and is a paid parking lot at all other times.
For reference, this location has been a Reserved and paid parking lot for many years. At the entrance of the lot, we have not only a large sign on a pole with the parking information, but also a large red scan to pay sign. We offer two different mobile payment options for your convenience. There are multiple signs throughout the lot including our Terms and Conditions for parking.
In the picture below (showing your vehicle), there is a sign (below the large red pay here sign) with printed rules of parking at this location, including specifics on when the lot is reserved and or available for public paid parking.

On the back of your notice are instructions on how to pay, dispute or reach out if you have any questions. I did not receive any information that you tried to reach out to Diamond to get an explanation for this notice. We could have quickly answered any questions you may have had if you had reached out.
It sounds like you were having a rough day and as a onetime courtesy, we have voided the parking notice you received. Nothing further is needed.

I have parked at this location for several years including with the previous parking authority who managed it before Diamond Parking Services moved in. Diamond Parking Services removed all machines and brought in QR codes and a website. The day of the fine, none of their services worked. I ended up receiving a parking fine. I attempted to dispute the ticket online, however, their website does not have a British Columbia option for address which glitches out and does not let you proceed with the dispute. When I attempted to bring this issue up with the operator who answered the phone on 2024-10-21, he said he didnt care and I shouldve emailed instead. He then said it doesnt matter because he is going to reject the dispute anyway. We then talked about the ticket going to collections which he said it cant and not to worry about it. Either way, Diamond Parking Services needs to update their website and allow clients to dispute fines without having to jump through hoops and train their staff on customer **********************.Business Response

Please note that this location is private property, and all parking rules have been created by the property owner(s). Diamond Parking has been hired to enforce these parking rules as posted on the property due to the unauthorized use on the facility. The lot in which you were ticketed is a pay parking lot. You are not permitted to park on the facility without payment. Our system does not have any records of issues/technical errors from that date and time for payments. We also have no record of communication from you to inform us of an issue, where at that point we could have possibly assisted to find an alternate form of payment. We have however, reviewed your case/appeal and will reduce this notice as a one-time courtesy to $60.00. I am rejecting this response because its cheaper to change my license plate than pay your bogus fine. Look at the screen shot that shows when I communicated it. I will post the audio on ******* and send a link of your employees unprofessional attitude. I checked with the building owner, **** and they said they have received numerous reports about your system not working as there is no service in the parkade. This company uses trickery and deceit to fraud people out of their money. Their dispute system is still broken and does not provide all of the Canadian provinces making it impossible to argue a ticket.

Diamond Parking pigeonholes the public into paying outrageous tickets when their website/apps go offline.Diamond Parking does not have the Province of **************** as an option when appealing a ticket which does not allow you to dispute it online. This is an ongoing issue despite it being addressed to Diamond Parking and ****** ***** directly.
OMNI will be issuing a letter directly to Diamond Parking to remove the ticket from the system along with a complaint letter for the constant harassment their staff is guilty of committing.
There is no debt. I will be posting online other correspondence between Diamond Parking addressing their website / app outsges and rescinding tickets that were issued to people I know.

I am rejecting this response because there are no parking pay stations at the location. I asked security and the building manager for confirmation and they both confirmed there is no actual pay station on the premises. There is also no access to the office buildings main floor before 8am limiting the public from contacting in-site security. Diamond Parking waives all fines and penalties after reading this statement. That is basically Diamond Parkings arbitrary fine enforcement, a sign with a threat that nobody reads.**** B

Please note that this location is private property, and all parking rules have been created by the property owner(s). Diamond Parking has been hired to enforce these parking rules as posted on the property which states that drivers can only park their vehicle while they are a patron of said business on the property. If a driver leaves the property without their vehicle, they will be subject to ticketing and/or towing. In your correspondence to us you stated there would be someone reaching out with the authorization to cancel. We have had no contact regarding this matter. This leaves the notice open and payable in our system as of today. Without this, we will as a one-time courtesy, reduce the notice to $40 if paid by the end of business day Oct 31/2024. I paid for parking and only stayed in the parking lot for my allotted time. I was charged during this time while it was still active. I am rejecting this response because:Diamond Parking is a scam.
In order to have an enforceable policy there must be a legal contract of carriage and Diamond signage at this location makes no mention of terms or conditions and is therefore non existing. Your statement of parking inappropriately by the regulating authorities is absolutely ?? ******** and you know it. I have complained management of Planet Fitness and advised them we will never return so that's what they get for dealing with your antics.
I expect a full refund because you have no legal basis to determine appropriate parking or charge me a parking notice charge. That's why you can't call it a citation or ticket because you know it's a scam and illegal.
The only reason I paid this is because it was a rental car and you knew it and prey on rentals. We are not done and PBAAB

I conceded and paid the embezzlement because it was lodged against a rented car license plate and I didn't want the car rental company to be involved in this scam and holding my future rentals hostage with a scam for payment.
This is why I reported this scam to the BBB for public awareness of the illegal activity by this business. They are demanding payment for their arbitrary judgment of one's parking activity and knowingly targeting rented cars with no documented contract or notice to the intended recipient
The entire process is an illegal scam but nobody can afford to challenge them to stop.
Hopefully public awareness will help others.

Today while parking in a lot owned by diamond for my work I received an infraction for allegedly impacting two stalls . First I own a MID size suv so its not large enough to impact two stalls Second I parked next to a cement pillar which I did not want to damage my vehicle Third the spot I chose to park in was away from the majority of cars and no other cars were in the line of 3 but would be able to park if they wanted to I was not impacting any of the other two spots around me When I called I asked where it was posted that parking outside of lines or on the lines would result in a fine & there is no such posting to the public I also asked to appeal the infraction but instead was presented a reduced penalty At this point Id like ********************** to post the infractions that could lead to penalties in places that are visible to the public and address my concern that my car will not be targeted in the future for parking violations since today I was targeted when no other cars were around or impacted by my improperly parked using two stalls infractionSince I park there five days a week Im Not confident that the parking representative for Diamond will not be prejudice and keep a constant eye on my vehicleBusiness Response

Hawaii law permits us to post signage solely at the entrance of the property, and I want to emphasize that we have exceeded these requirements by providing additional signage to clearly communicate our parking rules. When vehicles are not parked within the designated lines of the parking stalls, it creates challenges and risks for other drivers seeking to park and navigate the area.
Improper parking, such as positioning your vehicle beyond the stall lines, can hinder access for other vehicles and contribute to an unsafe environment. The stall lines serve a critical function, as they are designed to delineate parking spaces and assist drivers in maneuvering safely throughout the lot.

That spot was the pick up location and I was there to pick up cake which I ordered online. The customer parked in a ******* reserved stall for online orders only. The sign states to call the number on the sign and the order will be brought to the car.
It is a wonderful service for people that cannot go inside the store .
The Notice was issued because the Driver had gone inside the store.
Unfortunately, with the limited amount of Online Order Stalls, we enforce that rule.
It was my believe that a reduction of the Notice was fair but

Good day,I attended one of the stores at *************************** on September 20, 2024 at 1318 hours, and was parked in the parking lot (4678) for around 15mins. The bakery/cafe staff did not mention having to pay or that she would help us register the plate, so we waited for our food to be prepared. I understand if the shop had told us, but there were no options to register the plate and I literally just parked and walked to the bakery/cafe on the same building but on the other end and your ticket person started writing the ticket.This company is purposely posting signage that states vehicles be registered but they do not provide the smaller shops at the plaza with such machines to do so, I literally waited for my baked good to be freshly made before they allowed me to purchase and the dispute reply was to refer to the signage. When I tried to speak to someone about this, their phone number goes to nowhere, and stating it was not in service.
