I got a parking ticket for parking at the *************. It says customer ********************** only walked off the property now that said, thats exactly what happened. I arrived about an hour early before the mall opened and I went for a walk. Then I went into the mall when it opened and I received a ticket Because I walked off the property. I tried to dispute the parking ticket or at least get a reduction in fee and they Declined the dismissing it as well as any reduction in fee. I have not received a parking ticket in a long time but $83 seems like an awful lot of money for a one hour in fraction when the mall wasnt even open yet. I called Diamond parking and the woman was very rude and said I couldnt do anything else.

      Hello,

Our goal with any customer, is to provide the reason the notice was issued to prevent it from happening again in the future.
This location is private property and has the parking rules posted.  Diamond Parking is provided a list of specific rules and enforces by ticketing and/or towing based on the challenges the location faces due to unauthorized use.  Your notice was issued for Unauthorized Parking Customer ********************** only, walk off.  One of the rules posted is that you are not permitted to leave the property without your vehicle, or you can be ticketed and/or towed.  This is for any amount of time/for any reason.  You can park for free while conducting business on the property.  Once you leave the lot you are in violation. Specifically in your case, you were witnessed by our patroller leaving the lot which put you in violation, as stated on signage, and the patroller is contracted to immediately issue a notice.  If you have documentation or receipt/s to show you were in fact a customer when the mall opened that morning, please submit for review.  You can send it to me directly at ***********************************************************************. Thank you!

On 09/27/24, I received a letter stating that on 08/17/24, I was issued a parking notice fee in *******, **********, at the ************. This occurred while I was parked in their lot for a few minutes as I checked in. I was a paying guest, parked on their property, and promptly displayed my proof of parking once I was checked in. I never received any ticket or prior notice until today. The letter also states that an additional late fee will be charged after 15 days from the notice date of 09/17/24. However, I did not receive it until 09/27/24. The envelope was sent as presorted first-class mail with no stamp showing when it was mailed. Since Olympia is only a two-hour drive from where I live, I find it unlikely that it took 10 days to arrive. I suspect this may be a tactic, similar to the lack of prior notices, to add additional fees. The letter states it is from their collections department and includes a parking fee of $46.50, a handling fee of $6.50, and a late charge of $30.00. Again, this is the first time I was made aware of any issue. I called the hotel because I believe this may be fraudulent, and I plan to follow up when their manager is on duty, as I was on the ************ property the entire time as a paying guest. I believe this business is scamming, victimizing, and defrauding the public, and I request that this charge be voided.

Reference number ********** ; On September 24, 2024 my friend and I stopped at ****** for our lunch break. We did not realize that you had to pay for parking. Within 3 minutes I made my way out to scan and pay for parking. However, within these three minutes I already received a ticket. Someone was watching the lot and gave it to me immediately without even allowing time to pay thru the app. I called customer support on 09/24/2024. I spoke with a ****** and was notified that chilis validates parking. I was told to send in my proof that I dined at ****** with my reference number and my parking would be considered validated and nothing would be due. I received an email back on 09/25/2024 stating that was untrue and I still owed an amount; they reduced it, however, I am requesting it be reduced to $0 as I was given conflicted information that was wrong.

      Dear ****** *********,

Thank you for taking the time to relay your concerns with your parking experience on September 24, 2024. I apologize for the confusion when discussing the matter with our Customer ********************** Representative, we have a number of locations associated with restaurants that validate and when notices are issued they are able to be voided based on proof of dining at the establishment. Unfortunately this location does not utilize that policy, and I think our CSR just got their wires crossed.

I also understand the concern regarding the timing of the notice, but I assure you the timing of our enforcement patrols is random, that your notice occurred minutes after parking was not due to anyone stationed at the lot but just result of the time that particular patrol happened to have  occurred. Just be aware in the future, unless specifically noted, all parking should be paid in advance.

I understand parking in **************** is often confusing and frantic, and I hope this doesnt sour your experience. Because of the trouble you have already endured with this notice, we have voided it out as a courtesy, and apologize for any inconvenience.

      Hope to see you again!

      Truly yours,

      ****** *****

I would like to raise a complaint with BBB for Diamond Parking lot in ************************* They are engaging in PREDATORY PARKING practices to ticket unaware customers of ******************************* The lot is attached right at the wall of the restaurant and the wall clearly states the name of the establishment, and not "diamond parking" (photo attached).I arrived at 1 am in the morning of Aug 31 for picking up food from this restaurant. there was plenty of free street parking in this area. However, due to no clear signage that said that this lot was not affiliated with the restaurant, I assumed this was customer ********************** area and parked here instead. Upon returning to my car, I was left with a parking ticket (Notice# **********). I tried to dispute this with the lot attendant and the customer care but they didn't respond to my further inquiries. You can clearly look at the photos of the lot in ****** maps and how they intentionally mislead the customers of the adjoining establishment to slap a hefty fine. I have attached a picture of the parking spot where I was parked in and how it looks like (no signage). The wall did have a sign of "Honey court seafood restaurant" which is clearly misleading. If they want customers to pay for **********************, they should have appropriate signage for that.

Ticket Ref # ******** LOT Code G0211 - ************************************************************* Reason for the ticket: Unauthorized Parking Date: 9/7/2025 Event on the street was Airdrie Fest. Parking Ticket was issued by this company. According to them, the *************** is based in ******, **. This was an opportunistic cash grab. They knew there was an event by the city that day. They knew people would park in their private parking lot. They sent out enforcers to issue tickets. This particular enforcer made the judgment that I was going to the event and not to the businesses the parking lot is for. It's a he said, she said situation. After going through Diamond's arbitrary appeal process, they denied my appeal. Simply put, because I saw so many people go to the event, I expect Diamond to have ticketed every single car there that day. I have already sought legal advice on this because this was so sleazy. If Diamond is so desperate to boost their revenues, they should make the entire parking lot a paid one so that they can be guaranteed profits every year. I have already written to the city and are asking for their assistance on the matter. And judging from the reviews here and the reviews online, this is standard business practice for Diamond to simply make tickets in an effort to make easy money. We have given them proof that we were there to go into the businesses but they still would not give us reprieve. With their enforcers on steroids, are we supposed to keep taking selfies each time we go to the stores for proof that we are in fact going to these stores???

      Hello,

Our goal with anyone, is to provide the reason the notice was issued to prevent it from happening again.  First, I want to state that this location is private property, and all parking rules have been created by the property owners.  Diamond Parking has been hired to enforce these parking rules as posted on the property due to the unauthorized use on the facility. One of the rules is that you are not permitted to leave the property without your vehicle,or you can be ticketed and/or towed. This is one of the terms and conditions posted on the signage throughout the location (and on the pole in front of your vehicle). You can park for free while conducting business on the property.  Once you leave the lot you are in violation. Specifically in your case, you were witnessed by our patroller leaving the lot and as stated on signage, not permitted,  the patroller is contracted to immediately issue a notice.  I do, however, see this notice was cancelled as a courtesy.  Enjoy the rest of your week!

Their response is smug and asshole-y. I still stand by my recommendation that if Diamond simply wants a stable revenue stream, they should make the entire lot a paid lot

They were predatory and they know it. And if I got ticketed, I expect everyone around me did as well.

On September 2, I parked in Diamond Parking lot (WU91-QFC) around 12:30 pm. I left, and then came back shortly before 4pm, I was in the store before 4pm. I was only in the store for a few minutes, and when I returned there was a $65 parking ticket on my windshield for time limit exceeded, The manager explained that was I parked the first time the "meter" (there are no meters) does not stop just because I left. Some people, like myself, run to the store more than once a day. There policy is just a scandalous way to con people of money.

I purchased a parking ticket for this garage through "Spot Hero". This garage has listed (on the attached receipt) a few things to know about their business, but it doesn't include the fact that they close and lock the parking lot at night at some point. The exact time they lock it is still unknown, since this information is not listed on the receipt, or on the premises. The parking I reserved was from 2:00 PM to Midnight, as shown on the receipt. When I returned to the garage at approximately 11:15 PM, it was locked. Since we were several hours from home, this oversight (or scam) resulted in spending over an hour to locate a hotel vacancy serval miles away and paying for transportation to and from the hotel on top of the cost of lodging. When we returned to the car the following morning, the garage was open, but no attendant was on site, and a note with a hefty charge for parking overnight was found on the windshield.I am seeking a few things:1. A refund of the parking reservation 2. That they drop the additional parking charge 3. That they take responsibility for omitting the lock-out policy from their business listing on Spot Hero, and the inconvenience and unexpected costs that I (and many others) incurred as a result.I imagine this happens frequently, so they're bound to be aware of the issue. As a consumer, this felt like a scam.

On August 15th I parked in a lot in **********, **. I paid in advance. The app made it look like the payment did not go through so I was forced to do it again. Subsequently I was charged twice for the same license plate and the same time period. I emailed the business to request a refund. They said that they couldn't because the lot was owned by someone else and they had already sent the money there. They did not provide any information on who the owner was to contact them and since it was the fault of their app, I requested a refund of one transaction. There has been no response since. I was charged $5 for each session.

I am rejecting this response because: I received and responded to an email on September 6th asking for details of my transaction. I was told that the 2 transactions had been located and a request for refund had been submitted. This appears to be someone dragging their feet on issuing the refund. They have my email address. If they need additional information, why didn't they email me instead of waiting a week to request data they already had and more data.

Does the business need this data? I will send it, but I was told the transactions had already been found?
