The signs from where I parked were covered from all areas, you can see no signs were there from the photos taken by Diamond Parking. The only signs visible I walked up to the east wall that states (by Diamond Parking) "2 HOUR PARKING ONLY WHILE SHOPPING ON SITE, PAID PARKING AFTER BUSINESS HOURS".I was shopping at ******************** and was there from approximately 2pm to 2:45pm. I don't believe I should have a parking ticket if the signage states 2 hour parking while shopping next to another sign that says "paid parking"?I am under the assumption that I shouldn't pay if I am actively shopping in that 2 hour window. I am kindly asking that Diamond Parking either resign the area or remove the current signage that states 2 hours of parking is free during business hours, whichever is applicable. However, having both signage displayed leads to misinformed consumers such as myself who would've gladly paid the notice had the proper signage said that.

I am rejecting this response because:  I was fined with a parking ticket for trying to park when I paid.  I did pay the $65.50 fine, but do not agree with it.  I could not extend for the additional 2 hours online.  Therefore I was penalized for an additional 12 hours of parking time that I did not use.  There is no attendant or means of fixing the situation.  When called, they just refuse to help.  I should get the entire amount back.  Thanks.

      Sincerely,

On the 14th of October, I went to a venue at the ******* ************** We parked at Lot B218 and paid for 10 hours of parking and we noted the time our parking would end as we knew we would be longer than 10 hours and would have to pay to extend. During this initial purchase, we had the option to pay for 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 hours. An hour before the parking time was up we went out to the lot and tried to extend our parking time. When we scanned the ** code, we were given two options for time, those being 10 or 20 hours. Thinking that there was a glitch in the system we tried multiple times to see if the options for time would change as we would only be parked there a few more hours. We left the parking lot and back to the venue not sure how to resolve the situation because the phone number on the sign when called did not have options to try to resolve any technical issues. When the event was over we came out and found a ticket on our windshield, which we were not surprised to find as we were not able to pay for the amount of time we were trying to remain in the lot. We came back the next day for the same event and when we parked we only had two options for time like the previous evening. 10 or 20 hours. We were only going to be parked for 4 hours. Already being fined by this company we paid for the 10-hour rate and went on to the event. When finding a different phone number to call when I wanted to pay the fine, I was able to speak to a third-party representative and they were able to reduce the "fine". During the phone call the representative said that the parking options adjusted from 10 am to 4 pm. Outside of that time you only have the 10 or 20-hour option to pay for regardless of the amount of time you are parked in the lot. There is no overt information on any signage or on the parking website to state that information and this seems like a predatory business practice that encourages the company to issue fines and fleece their customers.

I received a H3139333236333****232H ticket for H3139333236333****232H at ***************** with particulars that I was unauthorized to park there. My ticket reference #******** on Oct 13, 2023 at 8:52 AM. I attend a fitness class located at ***************** from 8:30-10:30 AM every Friday since the beginning of September 2023. This is the first time I have been issued a ticket for H3139333236333****232H in the H3139333236333****232H lot WHILE ATTENDING the class. I appealed the ticket and even attached a receipt for the ************** at ***************** that I went to after my class on Oct 13/23 at 10:46:13 AM, which is clearly evidence that I WAS AUTHORIZED to park there because I WAS A CUSTOMER of ***************** and have a time limit of 3 hrs. I am sure the attendant issuing the ticket did not follow me because if he/she did, they would have noticed that I entered the mall for my class. I was a bit early for my class and therefore walked onto the sidewalk next to the H3139333236333****232H lot and was checking my emails for about 5 min on my phone before going into the mall. It seems to me that it does not matter what I would have put in my appeal because they will not overturn any H3139333236333****232H ticket issued anyways. This is very dishonest and unfair. When I am able to provide clear evidence that I was a customer of ***************** and still denied my appeal, what other proof would a person need to be able to be granted an appeal? It seems quite arbitrary and more of a matter of "he said, she said" versus looking at the evidence that this was clearly a mistake. If the attendant only sees a person getting out of their car and not enter the mall immediately after, then jumps to the conclusion that the person "walked off", it is not evidence that the person is not a customer of the mall. It is the person's right to get out of their car and not go immediately inside. What if someone just wanted some fresh air first or wants to check their email? That is not a violation. Please cancel the ticket since it was issued in error.

      Hello,

Our goal with any appeal, is to provide the reason the notice was issued, find a resolution and to prevent it from happening again in the future.
This location is private property and has the parking rules posted.  It is to be monitored at the request of the property manager, and Diamond Parking is provided a list of specific rules and is contracted to enforce by ticketing and/or towing based on the challenges the location faces due to unauthorized use.  I have reviewed your ticket and see it was issued for unauthorized parking as you were notices walking off property.  The signage states you are not permitted to leave the property without your vehicle or you are subject to ticketing and/or towing. For any amount of time/for any reason.  This is private, free customer paring while conducting business on the property.  As  you we noticed walking off property, the documentation you provided was for over 2 hours later for a to-go order at the coffee shop. The appeal did not include documentation you utilized any other business on the lot for the missing timeframe.  If you have further claims to submit please do so.  Otherwise we will reduce the notice as a one-time courtesy to $50.  This will hold on your account until the end of business day Monday Oct 23rd.

      Regards,

Thank you for the response. I am rejecting this response because even if the justification is valid, the fees charged ($80+) for exceeding 15 min do not reflect parking fees in the area. The only reason they were paid in the end is the lack of time to pursue this issue further.

I received a parking ticket ref# **********, claiming Im not parked in parking stalls. However, the same standards are not applied to all vehicles since I observed multiple such scenarios where the vehicles are never ticketed. It is unfair practice. Date: 10/05/2023

      Hi *****,

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about your experience. Im sorry to hear you had difficulty finding a parking stall. I know we have seen higher than normal occupancy percentages in our garages and this will continue to be the expected normal flow. However, all the parking practices are supported and directed by Meta and we keep consistent practices throughout all Meta garages.  We appreciate your feedback, and we will investigate ways to block off areas that are not a deemed parking stall to prevent parkers from any confusion.

We have voided the notice # ********** and no further action is necessary. We hope this doesnt discourage you from using any Diamond Parking lots in the future and again apologize for the inconvenience.

      Thank you,
