I parked in the lot 3950 (***********************), on March 28 at 6:49pm. The indications (signage) in the place indicate the following steps. - 1) "Pull the ticket as you enter to the lot". I did so. - 2) "Keep your ticket while onsite". I complied with this as well. I parked at 6:49 PM, and the officer gave me the ticket at 7:34 PM without justification. This feels like an unfair and inappropriate action. - 3) "Pay for Parking before leaving". I also complied, I paid. And again. Could you let me know why you gave me the ticket before I left? I paid ticket number ******** as your records should confirm. I made the Claim, Reference# ********, and the answer was that I need to send the payment receipt. I asked what is the reason for the ticket, and the question was ignored several times, no answer to it. I want to go to that place and I want to understand why you put me the ticket. But, the main point here is that the signage in the place says that we have to pay before leaving, but you are putting violation tickets when the cars are going in. Totally unfair.I also talked to other people in the same place and also they don't know why the received the ticket. At least 10 every day.

      Hello,

Our goal with any customer,is to provide the reason the notice was issued, find a mutual resolution and to prevent it from happening again in the future.
I have reviewed the notice and see it was issued for Unauthorized Parking/Parked on P1, as the vehicle was parked on a level reserved for commercial parking. When visiting residents, parking is permitted on P3 in the gated area, where the resident will buzz them in.  They do not have to pay when in this section. Upon leaving, they can then validate the ticket and have 15 min to vacate the parkade.  The notice has been cancelled as a one-time courtesy.  Thank you!

On March 20th, 2025 at 9:30am I paid $12.75 for parking until 6pm, in ******************************** garage, **********************************, via the Spothero app. When I returned to my car I found a ticket from Diamond Parking Services for $75 for failure to prepay, written at 12:30pm. I contacted Diamond Parking with evidence of my prepayment and asked them to void the ticket.Diamond parking took over a week to respond, and when they got back to me told me that the ticket was valid because my payment for the parking pass had been cancelled. What had actually happened was that Spothero, after I contacted them to complain, had refunded the cost of the parking pass without asking me first if that was the resolution I wanted. They are, however, refusing to intercede directly with Diamond Parking, because in their opinion the handwritten ticket has a 2 instead of a Z in the license number. I sent evidence to ********************** that the cost of the parking pass was only refunded a week after the ticket was issued, and it was done so because I had complained about an invalid ticket. However, Diamond Parking Services still has not agreed to invalidate the ticket, and we are swiftly approaching the time frame where they threatened to send it to collections. I also sent them information showing that either A., They incorrectly issued me a ticket for a valid parking pass or B., they incorrectly issued me a ticket because the representative incorrectly entered my license plate number. In either case, the ticket was invalid. I need Diamond Parking Services to void the ticket, and I would like an explanation as to why I was incorrectly issued a ticket when I had in fact prepaid.

They own the system at my apartment's parking structure. The license plate reader/card sometimes doesn't work and I'm stuck either trying to get in or out. I'm sick of being stuck outside ESPECIALLY AT 12 AM. The callbox doesn't work anymore and always disconnects. Their phone number is constantly on voicemail and they NEVER returns calls. The worst offense was when I went directly to their office as a last resort. They have a sign that says "NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC." As a business, What kind of practice are you running?I peek inside their tinted glass and see a bald guy sitting in his office down the hallway. I pound loudly multiple times, until another guy comes out of his office into the hallway.I guarantee you they saw or at least heard me pounding, and they had the AUDACITY to close their office door.I want to reset my card so it works so I can GET OUT/IN OF MY APARTMENT.

Kauhale Kakaako parking equipment was having issues on March 27th and cards were not being read.  The parking equipment vendor was called immediately and it was repaired the same day.  All parking cards were reset from the parking office onsite.

The Area Manager for Kauhale Kakaako spoke with the Mr. **** yesterday afternoon, March 27,  2025. It was confirmed the card was active and now working properly.  The Area Manager states Mr. **** was satisfied his problem was being investigated and he was able to gain access into the garage yesterday morning. *** manager also gave his cellphone number to Mr. **** and asked that he contact him directly should future issues occur.

Our City Manager also spoke with Mr. **** at 3:35 this afternoon, March 28, 2025,  to apologize for the inconvenience and Mr. **** did say he had filed the complaint before speaking with ***** ********. Mr. **** said he was happy we were working on a resolution as he has been having intermittent card issues over the past few weeks while trying to enter or exit the garage. It was explained that the equipment vendor has been working to resolve these issues.   As of yesterday, all equipment is in working order and we checked the system to confirm Mr. ***** parking cards are working properly and he has been entering and exiting the garage without issue.

The Area and City Manager provided Mr. **** with their cellphone numbers and will continue to communicate if there should be any further issues.

I am filing this complaint regarding an unfair and misleading parking penalty issued by Diamond Parking Services on 3/24/2025, in Lot SQ95. I parked at this location in the evening, scanned the ** code, and paid for my parking through the online system. Later, when I realized I needed to extend my time, I attempted to do so by paying via the same website. However, I was shocked to find that there was no option to extend parking online. Instead, the website exited the payment page and that the only way to pay for additional time was to physically return to the lot, scan the ** code again, and pay separately. It forced me to interrupt my dinner immediately after I see that parking cannot be extended and rush back to the lot for parking extension, only to find that I had already been issued a citation (#**********) demanding a fine, and while I tried calling customer ********************** later about the fine, no response was given. I find it very disappointing with no clear communication on parking payment and instead sets up honest customers to unknowingly violate the rules with the deceptive system. I demand that this citation be voided immediately, as I made every reasonable effort to comply with the payment process but was misled by the flawed system. Diamond Parking Services should take steps to ensure clear communication rather than exploiting customers with unnecessary fines.

On March 20, 2025 I parked at ********************** in an almost empty parking lot at 18:00 tonight get my hair cut with my son at Fade Me Barbers, one of the businesses associated with the lot. I parked in one of the stalls with the faded marking on the pavement labelled visitor. I did my due diligence and went into the business and registered my vehicle to get free parking. When I returned I found a ticket on my dash that says unauthorized parking and no other explanation. I looked at the signs and there was no evidence that I was parked in an unauthorized stall. I disputed my ticket and I got a response today that my appeal was denied with the reason that it was a reserved stall. Yet, it wasnt reserved. It was a visitor stall. This is very disappointing and has left me confused. After doing a ****** search I realized that this type of stuff happens very regularly.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/02/2025

      Hello,

I have reviewed the ticket and see it was issued for unauthorized parking as the vehicle was parked in a stall reserved only for *************************** Hub for City of *********  As stated on the receipt for registration, there are specific visitor stalls on Level 1 and 2 reserved for this tenant.

Attached photo shows the vehicle parked in one of reserved stalls, which is why the notice was issued. The markings are slightly faded and we have cancelled this notice as a one-time courtesy.

Please ensure to be extra diligent of possible stall markings when parking in the future.   Thank you.  Have a great day!

There is a small parking lot with a sign that states, "customer ********************** only until 5:pm". I parked there and I was a customer at a store in the area. If you check the time of the ticket with the time of the receipt of purchase at the store I was in, you can clearly see that the attendant watched me get out of my car and then walk to the near by store. Waiting till I was in the store, placed the ticket on my car. Did not once do the ethical thing and approach me to let me know anything. Just watched me walk. That is not acceptable business practices, but as we can all see they are not on the BBB to show their ethical practices or to be held accountable for their customer mishandling and abuse. Where I parked is heavy with tourist, just imagine how many they have ripped off with the same actions over the years...

I unknowingly parked in one of Diamond parking lots. This lot was completely unlabeled as a private lot. It has a massive sign at the entrance that says Public Parking I believe to trick people to park there so they can write a ticket. There are absolutely no signs on the outside of the lot that its paid, no fee rates, no paid parking signs, nothing. The inside of the lot there are very small signs to indicate where to pay the parking, but they are hidden on the inside of the parking spots. They are impossible to see unless the lot is empty. I was only able to locate them after searching for them because I had a ticket.I have called their business 6 times in the last two days and have not been able to reach them at all. I believe the whole setup is just to ticket people for way higher rates than ************************* ticket reference # is ********** This is for their lot at ************ in ******.

I used the Park Mobile App to pay for parking at the Diamond Parking Lot downtown **************, near ***************, at ********************************************** In spite of having to pay for 2 hours parking and only staying one hour, within that one hour while paid for, I received a parking ticket for $61 as if I had not paid. I saw the parking attendant, and showed them I had paid and was still within the time period that I had paid ----- I also took time stamped photos of the ticket (attached). I was told it would be taken care of, not to worry about it. Several days later (today) I checked the ticket the number and it showed as open/not paid. I went ahead and submitted a dispute and am awaiting resolution. There were some very specific requirements for submitting a dispute and if you dont follow exactly it will be automatically rejected --- 1. You can only submit one page of evidence (yet the app allows you to upload multiple pages) 2. You must show the entire receipt (This was tricky because it doesn't print in one page and the phone was not resizing it -- it took a while but between my computer and the phone I was able to get the entire proof of payment tin one graphic to upload), all receipts must have a business name along with a date and time stamp, among other requirements. I went to ****** Maps to write a review about this experience and saw that many many many other people faced the exact same situation with Diamond Parking having had paid for parking and then being given parking tickets during the paid time period, just as I was. This was clearly a pattern for this business.

      Dear ****** ******,

Thank you for reaching out regarding your parking citation at the Diamond Parking Lot in **************. We understand how frustrating this situation must be, especially since you made the effort to pay for parking and even confirmed with the parking attendant at the time.
Upon reviewing your case, we found that the citation was issued due to an incorrect entry of your license plate number when using the Park Mobile App. Specifically, the system registered a letter "O" instead of the number "0," which unfortunately caused the payment not to be associated with your vehicle at the time of enforcement.
We appreciate that you took proactive steps by submitting a dispute, and our team is currently reviewing your request. Given the circumstances and your proof of payment, we will be voiding the notice.

      Hello,

Our goal with any customer, is to provide the reason the notice was issued, find a mutual resolution and to prevent it from happening again in the future.
This location is private property and has the parking rules posted.  It is to be monitored at the request of the property manager. Diamond Parking is provided a list of specific rules and is contracted to enforce by ticketing and/or towing based on the challenges the location faces due to unauthorized use.
I have reviewed both notices and see they were issued for unauthorized parking as the 2HR time limit was exceeded parked in the stall. A notice was sent out to all owners for retail and residents about the rules of the lot. There is 2HR parking for visitors/residents if you are not registered. Alternatively, you are permitted 3 OffStreet system registrations per unit per month for 48 hours each .  You can contact our office for further clarification if needed.  I have cancelled these notices as a one-time courtesy. Have a great day!
