On 1/12/2023 I received a parking ticket. As i was walking out to re-pay my time limit, the employee cited my vehicle. This is unjust- as i was walking to repay my time limit. I am requesting my ticket is dropped and a full refund.

      Dear ******************,

Diamond parking has received your email in regard to the parking notice you received on 1/15/23, Sunday afternoon at 3:08pm, at our SD090 lot located at ************************ in *********.

Going through all payment records for the 15th of January 2023, there was no payment made through any payment option for your CA license *************.

Our ********************** lots do require advance payment to park as stated on our terms and conditions signs posted in all lots. Failure to pay in advance to park in this location has resulted in a parking owed amount of $56.60 which is posted at the entrance and under the payment options. As a courtesy to you, and as this is the first time we have noted a failure to pay for your plate, we will reduce your parking owed amount to $24.00 plus the $6.50 collection amount, a total of $30.50, this is the amount you would have paid for 2 hours on a Sunday.

We at Diamond Parking strive to have outstanding customer ********************** and to make sure every customer is satisfied while ********************** with us.

January 4, 2023, parked in an underground parking lot monitored by Diamond parking. Purchased ticket from meter for one hour. Upon return within the time frame, a parking ticket fine was issued. The meter which processes the ticket stub is exceedingly slow, a full 2 minutes. My ticket reads at the top tab, 4:32. The ticket reference #********. Shows time of infraction as 4:33, one minute difference of which would be consumed by the shockingly slow meter.

      Hello,

Our goal with any customer, is to provide the reason the notice was issued to prevent it from happening again in the future.  Please note that this location is private property and all parking rules have been created by the property owner(s).  Diamond Parking has been hired to enforce these parking rules as posted on the property due to the unauthorized use on the facility.  The lot in which you were ticketed is a pay parking lot and your notice was issued for ************.  There is no grace ****** at this location.  Our patroller has no way of discerning how long your vehicle would remain parked without having paid past the ************ and there was no communication with our company until your appeal almost a week later.  If you did in fact extend your parking, you can send me the documentation directly at *************************************** for review.  Without this, the notice would be valid.  Thank you!

As per the Area Manager for this location the meter does take about 1 minute to go through the process of verifying the credit card is approved.  Also this meter provided them a receipt as per the pictures of the time of expiry.  We have offered them a discount for the violation and that is all we can do for them.

I am rejecting this response because:

the meter takes well over a minute to complete transaction which then put my purchased ticket within the boundaries of the time frame. The discount needs to be for a cancellation. Am quite prepared to proceed to small claims court. I do hope you are able to understand my viewpoint of the time frame discrepancy.

Diamond Parking services requires payment in advance in lot A694 - **********************************. They have 6 posted signs, the largest of which has the parking lot code for the PayByPhone app, and the CallToPark app. When you attempt to use these apps to pay during the period that payment in advance is required, they will tell you that payment is not accepted at this time, but not that payment in advance is required. The area of the sign that says payment is required in advance makes up approximately 5-10% of ************* posted in the area. I believe Diamond Parking Services intentionally kept that information in smaller print towards the bottom of the signage in order to collect more tickets.

My son drive my car. He is in college. We received notice to pay $500 from Dimaond parking ticket. My son was going thru exam, we were busy . To stay out of trouble and to focus on studies we paid even if charges were wrong (made by Diamond parking). They are sendind false tickets to earn money.Yesterday we received another 100$ ticket. The tickets are wrong, these are written as harassment notice. We paid (otherwise they will increase amount) and immediately send email that we dispute this charge,****** Parking is printing wrong tickets as invoice and collecting ridiculous amount by sending harrassment (credit history, collecting threat).Instead of listening they keep increasing price and do not listen to their fault. We dispute all parking notices. This is enough . We want this fraud company to be responsible. I need refund for all tickets.

      Dear ********,

Thank you for reaching out about your experience.  Our goal is always to create happy and repeat parkers and we apologize for the inconvenience and confusion regarding the six Parking Notices that the vehicle received while parked in Diamond Parking lots.  Based on your feedback below where you are disputing the accuracy, we have done a complete review of each Parking Notice.

On five different dates (11/28/2021, 12/02/2021,01/15/2022, 01/26/2022, and 01/30/2022) the vehicle with license plate ******* parked at ********************** location WU07 (**** ********** *******, ** *****) and we were unable to find a payment on record for each of these days.  We have attached the picture that we took of each occurrence. The vehicle was subsequently issued a Parking Notice for No Advanced Paymentbased on the posted Terms and Conditions at the location.  The fees consist of:
      $49.00 for No Advanced Payment.
      $6.50 for Handling Fee.
$30.00 for Late Fee (If paid after 15 days).
      $6.50 for Late Handling Fee.

We see in our records that there was an appeal submitted by Desh ******* (*************************)with the same physical address as provided to the BBB on 01/31/2022 and 02/09/2022.  The feedback of the appeal was I used pay by phone and I put in the stall number and I am still receiving tickets.

Our ****************** denied the first appeal on 02/04/2022 with a feedback of, Dear Desh, Thank you for reaching out to us. We are unable to locate any Pay by Phone transactions under your account. To proceed with your dispute, please access your Pay by Phone account, go to "Parking History" and you will have the option to obtain your payment confirmation receipt, which will have the details we need to confirm your transaction. Once this has been received, we will be able to open a dispute for you.

Our ****************** denied the second appeal on 02/17/2022 with a feedback of, Dear Customer, We are writing to inform you that your appeal has been denied. The referenced parking notice has been reinstated and payment is now due. This is because you have not supplied information necessary to prove you were not in violation of our terms and conditions. To continue your appeal, please submit the following: Documented proof of payment at the time of parking for the vehicle on location.Failure to provide this information will result in final denial of your request. You may pay this balance online at ********************************************** or you may send a check/money order paid to the order of Diamond Parking Services to: Parking Services ********************************************** All payments and correspondence must be made to Parking Services for proper credit. All balances are due in full. Please return this letter with your remittance and include your license plate number. Thank you for being a Diamond Parking customer.

Additionally, we see a third appeal submitted by Desh ******* on 03/07/2022 with a feedback of, Hello, I parked here in the gravel area which is next to your lot but not in your lot, I think there may have been confusion because they are really close to each other, I also parked there at 10pm.

Our ***************** closed this appeal due to the Parking Notice was paid in full on 03/17/2022.  We researched the picture (attached) of the date in question and see that the vehicle was parked in stall 12 at location WU07.

A payment on 3/17/2022 was received by a credit card belonging to Desh ******* in the amount of $465.00 which paid in full the Parking Notices amounts and fees received on 11/28/2021, 12/02/2022,01/15/2022, 1/26/2022, and 01/30/2022.

We have conducted a thorough review of each date and have been unable to find a payment in any of our platforms for either the license plate or the stall number at the time of the Parking Notices.  Based on your appeal feedback of using PayByPhone, your account will have a history of any payments made.  As requested on 2/4/2022 and 2/17/2022, if a payment was made, please send us the receipt or proof of payment and we will be happy to review and we will refund the paid Parking Notices upon confirmation of the Advanced Payment.  Until we are able to confirm that a payment was made on the dates and times that the vehicle was parked, we must deny the request for a refund.

After reviewing the Parking Notice issued on 10/19/22 we see our team made the mistake of categorizing it as No Advanced Payment rather than Unauthorized Vehicle.  For that we apologize and will issue a refund for $103.  Please note that this lot is permit only and any future use without a permit will result in a Parking Notice.

Additionally, we appreciate the opportunity to speak with you on the phone today (1/9/2023).  We are also going to refund you the Late Fee and Late Handling Fee ($36.50 times 5 which equals $182.50) of the five Parking Notices that were from the **District location.  If your son is able to find the payment receipts, we will be happy to refund the entire amount.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond and communicate as we strive for customer ********************** and a win-win resolution.

The company has given misleading/incorrect answers.  So I can't accept as resolution.

      1. If you see attached picture.  As per this notice - one can park for shopping/dinning.  The parking ticket was incorrect.  In email response to BBB Diamond parking said they gave wrong type of ticket , thats why they are refunding.

      2. In response Diamond parking wrote that they are refunding 103 and 180 .   We received partial refund of 103.   We are waiting for remaining.

They gave long/misleading answer to suppress the issue that Oct 2022 ticket was invalid.

      Regards
      Prashant K

I received an "No Advanced payment" fine while parked in a lot in *******, **. According to the Attorney General, privately owned lots can only issue fines if they have clearly displayed parking fees and instructions to pay AT EVERY ENTRANCE to the lot. This particular lot does not follow that directive. I have never noticed the parking lot payment signs until after I drove back to the day after receiving the fine to search for the signage. It is NOT displayed at every entrance as the Attorney General directs. Their notice only appears at one corner of the lot, and can only be read when approaching from a particular direction.GIven that this lot (code WY52- *************) is not in compliance with the requirements of the Attorney General of ********** states directive that "they must post a sign "near each entrance and on the property in a clearly conspicuous and visible location to all who park" there." I would like this fine dismissed.

On December 30, 2023 my family attended an ice hockey game in the city of *******. We parked in a garage that stated it was $10 to park. Out of concern that our payment wouldnt be valid if we were not parked in a numbered spot we ensured we moved our vehicle to a numbered spot (#**). The were posters from ParkMobile with a QR code stating you could pay that way (H**3933323633**323232H area *****). My payment was processed at 6:47pm for a total of ***** (H**3933323633**323232H fee ***** -not the ***** listed, .70 transaction fee). We returned to our vehicle around 9:30pm (H**3933323633**323232H valid thru 12/30/22 11:45pm) with a ticket from Diamond Parking Services on the windshield for $55.50 (if paid within 15 days) and $85.50 if not. If you send more than 1 email your dispute is denied, and if you dont pay they threaten to send you to collections, and they tell you that you may call to follow up after 10 days to find out what the status of your dispute is. I shouldnt have gotten a ticket to begin with and this business it practicing illegitimate practices to coerce money from people.

After parking in the parking lot to visit a business on the lot. I received a parking ticket to which I have inquired as to why I received one and my friend whom I arrived with (in separate vehicles) did not receive one. We both went into the business to get coffee. The company in question will not drop the parking fee without a receipt, which I do not have since my friend bought our coffees with cash.

In November I parked in the lot near ****** centre. We selected one hour of parking, put in credit card information and paid through an online platform accessed through QR code. We saw that the count down on the webpage had begun and went for dinner We got back about 40 minutes later. The app had glitched and and error page appeared asking us to refresh and resubmit the page. I provided proof of the error page and filed a dispute to Diamond parking. The claim was denied because payment is required for the lot- which I acknowledge and tried to do. When I tried to raise my concerns to customer ********************** their response did not acknowledge the glitch in the webpage saying that because they didnt receive payment it is impossible there was a glitch.

On 9 December 2022 at 9:02 we self-parked at the ********* hotel and tower self parking facility located at ************************************************. We saw the hourly/daily rates sign posted on the entrance at 1st street, drove in to the yellow gate bar, took a ticket and proceeded to spot B266. From there we checked into **************************** hotel, and was given a hotel parking pass, which we did not use. Upon leaving, a parking ticket was placed on our windshield from Diamond Parking Service, Reference #********** for parking owed, no advance payment and apparently improper parking. We were in a small Acura MDX plate number BXZ5025, which was nosed all the way into the spot and well centered in the lines. The ticket was for an insulting $93 or $123 if not paid in 15 days. We proceeded out of the lot, paid $23.98 at the gate and contacted diamond parking via phone and e-mail on 19 December 2022. An employee named ***** took my call and listened to my issue. He stated that if I emailed a picture of the ticket and our receipt it would be voided. Upon receiving a reply from *********************** stating Notice ********** was issued correctly as the vehicle in question had broken our terms and conditions for parking in this location. As a one-time courtesy, we have reduced the amount of this notice to the lowest acceptable payoff amount. Based on past reductions and voids, we may not offer additional voids or reductions going forward (if this is the case, all notices will stand as is). Please make sure you are able to pay Diamond Parking when parking in a Diamond lot beforehand to avoid these notices in the future.I feel this company is in the wrong as there were NO signs saying advance payment was required! The ticket we took at the yellow gate states pay at pay station, front desk, or at gates!!!!! Not only that, the car was parked in an open, marked, and clearly obvious parking spot and our car did not stick out into the drive lane as the bogus ticket described.

Customer states that he believes this ticket was issued in error while parked at the ***************************** parking located at ************************************************* which is a gated facility that requires payment upon exit of the facility.  However, that facility is not one that Diamond Parking manages or enforces and that is not the location in which the ticket was issued.  The ticket in question(#**********) was issued while parked at our facility located at 121 **************** in *******,**(Lot ID# ******. Customer also ****** that there was no signage stating advance payment was required. However our facility is clearly marked that payment is required in advance and there are several options to do so.  Vehicle was also parked in the drive lane located between the *** stalls and general parking.  The rate for parking during the time he was located at our facility(9:37pm on 12/09/2022)Was $15 plus tax.  So be reducing the ticket amount to $23.94 that is reducing the ticket to the amount he would have paid for parking at the time plus processing fees.  For reference I have attached a Map highlighting the facility he believes the ticket was issued(in red), the facility in which the ticket was issued(in blue), and the location in the facility where he was parked(black X).  Additionally I have attached the picture taken of the vehicle at the time of ticket issue as well as the signage clearly stating advance payment is required as seen from the exact spot in which the vehicle was located.
