We parked in a parking lot cross from mezzanine **** in ****** ******. There was a restaurant logo on the back wall of the lot, we made sure to look and see if this said it was for that restaurant patrons but couldn't see any. We also did not see ANY signs directing us to pay and there were NO lights in the parking lot at all. We parked, walked across the street to the pizza ace, ate ,came out to a a $41 fine for not paying in advanced. We looked around and STILL COULD NOT see a sign or payment kiosk. Diamondparking.com

I went to park at a parking lot which I parked before. I did not see a sign anywhere that a parking spot is reserved 24/7 until I went back and found a guy taking pictures of my car and giving an $80+ ticket! The sign was on the floor painted which was that legible! For one, I did go and checked the "reserve for day care" daycare itself to check if they're open since I wanted to see the day care itself but since it was closed already-their hours are only from 9am to 1pm! I was there at 3:45! I know because, again, I wanted to see how the day care was and wanted to talk to them personally, but since they were closed, I went and looked around other stores around it instead, since why not know the place around it more and I was already parked. When I went back and asked the guy whats going one he rudely responded and shouted, "I AM GIVING YOU A TICKET FOR PARKING AT A RESERVED ONLY PARKING!", I wanted to give a reason but he walked away, on top of that, the ticket says, "I walked off!" I then called and tried to explain my situation, the ***** then didn't really bother hearing me out and told me, "whatever...". I went to try to dispute the ticket from their website and it got denied almost right away. I called them again, and it's the same CSR who answered and told me that they have sent me an e-mail which I have checked but never received anything! I asked to have me transferred to a manager and she refused and refused to do anything. The parking never said, "reserved for day care 24/7". Why waste a spot on a busy area for a business that is closed at the time and then act as if they don't care about anything! I am not the only one who is having this issue. I have done research and this company have placed tickets on cars that are NOT on their lot even! They have been tagged as scammers! Which I am now slowly believing in.

      Hello,

Our goal with any customer, is to provide the reason the notice was issued to prevent it from happening again in the future.  Please note that this location is private property and all parking rules have been created  by the property owner(s).  Diamond Parking has been hired to enforce these parking rules as posted on the property due to the unauthorized use on the facility.  The lot in which you were ticketed has an individual reserved stall allotted to the each business on the property for their customers.  Our patroller witnessed the occupant leave the location as noted on the ticket with is cause for ticketing and or towing as per the signage and our contract. I have however, reviewed your case/appeal and will reduce this notice as a one-time courtesy to $50.  To have the billing adjustment take effect please contact me at ******************** in the next 3 business days and quote your reference number.  Thank you.  Have a great day!

I park at **************************************, the parking lot was sold/or turned over to diamond parking as of monday 12/01/2022. I arrived as normal 430am parked, the **** pay machine was in place no signs indicating a change. I paid my parking, attached is proof ( I have parked here for months) I went to work. I came out to a ticket- the **** parking pay machine is gone, and they have signs now indicating the app to pay on. I reached to diamond- showed proof of payment for the day and explained, they were threatening and said I need to pay again otherwise it would be double and gave no interest in resolving the matter. I paid to park, I paid diamond parking today 12/02/2022 to park... but shady practice and change of operation to scam people needs to monitored and controlled. I want the ticket- dismissed and no future contact from them.

      Good Afternoon *****,

My name is *** and I am an Area Manager for Diamond Parking.
I oversee this location, and I wanted to take a moment to respond to you regarding your notice from December 1st, 2022.

I first would like to apologize to you for any frustration and inconvenience this has caused. As you are now aware, Diamond Parking took over operations of this location as of 12/01/22.  Reef should have been stopped operating at this location and removed their signage and all of their equipment prior to the December 1st date.
Diamond Parking is not affiliated with Reef parking, so we have no way of knowing if anyone had paid them for parking or not.  We were operating in good faith and patrolling the location as our usual standard practice.

From our perspective, we saw your vehicle as a non-payment for parking.  Once we were aware of the situation, we adjusted your notice to pay for the parking due for that day. We then asked you to contact Reef to be reimbursed for your parking, as they should not have had any way for customers to pay them for parking and should not have accepted payment on a lot they no longer operate.

I am authorizing a courtesy void on this notice and it will be all cleared up.

Also, please feel free to keep my information handy and do not hesitate to reach out to me directly in the future if you have any questions or concerns.

      Thank you,

      ***

I parked near the Dicks Drive-in on *********************************. When I drove home I realized I had a Parking Notice from Diamond on my windshield with a ~$60 fee for failure to pay in advance.First, this is an excessive rate that far exceeds parking fines issued by the city. Second, I believe I was parked in a free customer ********************** space. I legitimately dont know if the error is on my end or theres. When I contacted Diamond, they initially told me a receipt from ***** would resolve the issue. Fair enough. But when I attempted to go back and get one the business was closed for what looked like a big maintenance/renovation project. I then received an email from Diamond saying they will only reduce my fine to $50, and made no mention of receipts. I messaged them back to see if they will give me a reasonable one time reduction to $0 as I am not convinced I should have been charged to begin with. Maybe there are paid and unpaid spots there, but it was night and I only noticed Dicks customers only signs. As far as I know, no error on my end was made. However, if I made an error, it was reasonable and not an attempt to steal parking. I also paid for food. I never got a reply and now I see they raised the fee on the portal to over $100. All I am asking is to waive this notice once in good faith. I always pay for parking when it is clear I am supposed to. And, $100 to park for a $3.50 burger joint just isnt right.Im seeking a resolution whereby they waive this notice and I promise to ensure in the future that I am following all signs posted on Diamond lots carefully.

On the evening of November 22, 2022, I drove and parked my car at ******* located on ********************************************. It was approximately 6:35pm and walked in to the store to get groceries for Thanksgiving dinner. Given the number of items and lines at the check out, it took me about 45-55min, and it was around 7:20pm when I got to my car, where I found a $65 ticket that was issued at 7:17pm. The reason for the ticket was overtime parking. I have been going to the same ******* for the last 3 months and did not have any issue for parking in this location. I did not see any sign on the lot indicating the limit or any change in the limit. The rules were not clearly displayed or noted any where in the lot, which is very misleading and ambiguous. I do not agree with this charge as I have not violated any rules. I would like to ask the charges to be removed in its full.

I received a $65 parking fee/ticket from Diamond Parking Service on 10/28/22 near ***************** in South *******. I had just parked, went inside to ask if I needed to pay in the lot which is right outside the brewery, and the notice was there on my car -- it must have been a couple minutes at most; I know because the time of notice is 7:**** and I recall getting there right around then. It was extremely unclear if it was even a Diamond lot, and the signage was terrible/non-existant. I attempted to dispute the parking fee wit Diamond Parking. They were rude and provided no explanation or evidence for the parking violation, and there is no other recourse. Additionally, they have the threat of doubling the charge (to $102.00) after 15 days.

      Hi ****,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the notice you received.

After further review of all the information, the notice was upheld since proof of payment was not provided and the notice was issued for not paying for parking in advance which our lots require. We have signs posted at the entrance and on posts between the paid lot and the brewery lot showing our multiple mobile payment options.

We have issued a courtesy refund of $52.76 for the notice that was paid after deducting the parking amount due and fees.

Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with.

Thank you for choosing Diamond Parking.

On 10/22 at 4:23pm my husband and I paid to park our ********** 3 lot A674 location **** for 2 hours ($4.44) through the PayByPhone app, but received a ticket before our time was up saying that we didnt pay. I have been trying to email proof for 2 weeks and keep getting delayed automated emails saying I need to re-email a receipt or a screenshot of proof of payment, which I keep doing. I have an email confirmation from PayByPhone showing payment, which included the date, spot #, lot #, that the payment was processed and how much I paid, but Diamond Parking keeps ignoring it. Im being given a ticket of more than $60 when I did what I was supposed to do and paid. I want the ticket dropped, since it is invalid and I paid to park. I scratched out our license plate number in the attached photo for here, but I have sent the screenshot to Diamond Parking directly with the plate number visible.

I followed all posted signage but received a citation for $65.50 following ~10 minutes of parking. My appeal was denied based on the claim that the attendant saw me walk to another business. They will only consider an appeal if I can provide a receipt for the fast-food restaurant which of course I cannot as I don't get or save receipts. I am challenging this citation on the basis that the burden of proof has been placed on me despite good faith efforts to comply with posted signage, and on the basis that the fee is extortionate and unregulated.

On 10/27/2022 I parked at the **** ***** lot in North ******* to fill a prescription for my child. The signs at this store state that I am authorized to park there for up to 4 hours while I shop at this venue. I only went to this **** ***** and no other store. And I was in the store for less than 25 minutes total. As I came out of the store I saw a demand for $65.50 payment "overtime" had been placed on the windshield of my vehicle (notice ********** ).Since I had my receipt from the pharmacy and was clearly only in the store for a short time, I followed the instructions on the notice to file an appeal at diamond.paymynotice.com. I submitted the evidence as requested and explained that I was not overtime as the notice claimed. Less than 24 hours later my appeal was rejected without explanation. The only comment is "dispute resolution upheld". The site will not allow me to request further appeal or to speak directly with the company about this issue.I am just a poor single mother and cannot afford to pay a $65.50 fee that was unmerited and undeserved. You can review the security footage from **** ***** (or just look at the receipt that I submitted to you in my appeal) to verify the time I was in the store and that I went nowhere else.I believe that this company is engaging in deceptive business practices. In the future I will choose to do my shopping elsewhere as I will not spend my money at a store with a lot that is managed by this disreputable parking vendor.

I was issued a parking notice saying that I walked of the parking lot even though I did not.On contacting the Diamond Parking through their online portal, they refused to waive the ticket.I called their customer ********************** line and the agent argued that the company can issue a ticket and it is up to the customers to fight the ticket. And since I didn't have the receipt from the business, I have no recourse. This is weird system. The burden of proof should not lie with the customer. In fact, if that is the case, ********************** has incentives to keep issuing the tickets.
