Diamond parking has licensed itself to provide parking to nearly all of the lots in the ********************** for the purpose of taking advantage of "event parking" rates at ************** and ***********. As part of this, they have raised rates significantly across the board, basically owning a monopoly on the lots in that area. This is bad enough, but more recently they have been purposely offering "event parking" rates for time frames that end during the event, with the only other option being to extend overnight for a ridiculous price. Then when people stay for the full event, in addition to paying $20 to park, they get a bonus $66 ticket when they return. Just a sleazy operation.Diamond Parking Services, LLC

Zero stars!! 5 March 2024 we went downtown to attend a concert. It was cold out, and the parking machine wouldn't read our debit cards. We looked for a coin slot but found none. Their complaint form is a total joke and they just said " machine worked fine.". Threatened to tow my car. Zero stars!Diamond Parking Services, LLC

************** Apr 26, 2024 Lot at 224 S. 200W ************ is a total scam operation! When I parked into the stall, the employee was issuing a ticket to the car next to me. I happen to notice it was out of state plates. As she finished, I asked what I needed to do, she pointed me to the sign at the end of the driveway to scan the code and pay by phone. As I walked back to my car, I completed my payment, and mentioned that it was easy. This was 6:17pm. At 8:46pm the same person wrote me the citation, I had paid for 12 hours. I called this afternoon and they reversed the charges. But, how many people would have just paid and moved on? The representative told me this happens all the time, and she wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for all the issues. I parked at ****************** underground parking lot(4034), there was only a ** code to scan to pay for parking, there was no other option to pay available. The ** code scan brought up a page that I filled out providing my plate number and I selected 1 hour parking from the menu provided. For the payment options provided, I clicked on pay with apple wallet and it looked the the payment went through as normal, so I went to my appointment in the building because I thought I had paid. When I returned to my car 30 minutes later, there was a payment notice ticket from Diamond Parking that said I had failed to pay. Diamond parking is demanding $86.50 to be paid in 10 days or it jumps to $126.50.I submitted a dispute which took 5 days for them to reply and they denied my dispute saying that payment for parking is due the second you drive into the lot. This is upsetting, because I attempted or thought I had paid, using their ** code that they provided for that lot.Diamond Parking Services, LLC

Went to a business lunch at ************. Forced to use diamond parking as there is no alternative. Validated parking upon arrival. Came back to my car in an hour and had a ticket on it for $60. Customer ********************** number is never answered and never returns calls. Restaurant manager offered to support the fact that I validated parking but no answer from Diamond. Parking machine will not accept card/cash payment. Issued parking ticket without proper resources to pay for parking in the first place, since when is pay by phone the only acceptable form of payment for this kind of service. Please, will another responsible business take ownership of this lot and provide customers with the functions to utilize this other than a QR code. I was on Bay mall parking lot at ******** ******* ** April 16,2024. The signs for no parking were completely covered by snow. There was only one more car on the parking lot beside me. This is just a money grabbing operation. I was literally 10 minutes at my appointment. I tried to file a dispute but that is also a scam.Diamond Parking Services, LLC

I parked in a Diamond parking garage to have lunch with friends. For the 1st time in my life, I used my phone to scan the ** code posted on the wall, entered all required information, then I had to choose between paying for 2 hours or 12 hours of parking. My best guess was that 2 hours would be plenty of time for lunch. Well, lunch look a little longer, so I thought Id have to pay for an extra hour no problem. BUT NO!!! The Diamond Parking Garage issued me a ticket, even though the parking lot was mostly empty. $58!!!!!!!!! On top of the $6.90 I already paid!Diamond Parking Services, LLC

Diamond Parking has taken over many parking lots in ********, specifically the lot in US Bank downtown. They do not have signs visible everywhere letting people know that will be ticketed for parking in these spots after hours. People have parked there for 5 minutes to run to the bathroom, or an errand and come back to find a $36 or $63 ticket! This is unreasonable and egregious! Imagine attending an after hours event at the Theatre to come out to a ticket and threatened with being turned over to collections if it is not paid? This company should not be allowed to continue to take over lots with these types of practices which appear to be predatory. This is ridiculous.Diamond Parking Services, LLC

We had an office party at ********** in Pt Ruston on 3/28/24 at noon. I arrived around 12:09PM after driving around looking for parking. I found on-street parking several blocks away from the restaurant, I looked around, there were no signs, no paybox, no numbers on the parking spots, It was just white lines for parked cars. I walked several blocks back to **********. Our party ended at 1:30PM and we left the restaurant. I got back to my SUV about 1:36PM and found a ticket on my windshield. I opened the ticket when I got home at 2:15 and found a bill for $59. The time on ticket was 1:10PM. Crazy! Apparently, Diamond Parking Services LLC owns the public streets now, they are notorious for not refunding parking fees. I found their website when I got home Their posted rate on ********** webpage for parking was $4 for the 1st hr. and $4 for the 2nd hour. I did not view the website prior to driving there. I only googled the address for driving. I want them to accept the 2hr fee of $8 and waive the rest of the fee. This is bait and switch and unscrupulous behavior.Diamond Parking Services, LLC
