      When doing a white pages search of ************ for my business a private individual is listed as owning that number. We have owned that number for over 30 yrs. We need to reflect our business when people are doing a 411 or white pages search of that number. This effects our credibility with credit agency's and potential customers.

      Whitepages.com opt out feature does not work. After the first attempt of clicking on the large green *** Out button, following the instructions that included my re-stating every detail they already had PLUS providing my e-mail address (which is a thinly veiled procedure to not only verify their information but re-enter it and provide even more details - my e-mail address - as though I am one of their employees laboring for free to provide all the latest details on myself, fresh and new, in their little boxes) I received a message that I had too many opt out attempts and needed to submit a task request. I only had ONE opt out request. I submitted a task request according to their instructions, and it STILL did not work. I am STILL listed on that site after foolishly following all of these steps, which are a joke. I had a stalker recently use that information to contact me out of the blue, and wondered how the person obtained my closely-guarded personal information that I never provide to anyone I do not personally know, and would never give permission for any third party access. So many entities are simply lying, and now me and my family are in danger, and there is nothing anyone will do about it.

      Whitepages.com is providing all of my personal private information online, without my consent. I've never authorized them to do this, and have requested that they remove it. They provide an "Opt Out" process, but you have to allow them to call you, and this process errors out everytime so it's impossible to complete (many reports of this online for many years now).       Initiated opt-out via whitepage.com website per my consumer rights to privacy on 08/24/2022. The request was not handled or deleted. I sent my second response via online ticket on their website to which they said it would be at least 24 hours on 08/26/2022. Again with no resolution, I have put my third request in today 09/09/2022 because the account is still not removed, deleted, or opt-out.
