      White pages has false information about me. It is strictly false and putting my data on line invades my privacy. I am a 83 year old man, veteran and the stress is causing health concerns.

      I filed a record removal request on the White Pages Opt Out Page due to being harrassed/stalked. Providing my phone number for code verification was required. When I picked up the phone, the machine said "application error" and ended the call without connecting me to anyone who could help. Not only is my personal information still online, my phone number is also compromised now. In addition to the Consumer Privacy Rights, as a resident of the state of ** I am also entitled to additional rights about my data privacy. This is highly unprofessional, inappropriate, and unsafe.

      This fraudulent business has been harassing us for 4 years for services never provided. They prey on small businesses. We received the first call from them 4 years ago offering us more information and then radio silence. 6 months later they are calling and threatening collections in the amount of $895.95 and have not stopped. Their first attempt at collections was from a ******************* who told me that, and I quote, "One way or another you will pay us, Mr. *********** for services not authorized.I just received yet another collections email from them today. This is entering harassment and blatantly violates CASL legislation. I expect no further contact from these people and will be engaging a lawyer if this continues.

      Emailed the BBB on 3/12/2025, 3/14/2025 and 3/17/2025 regarding this matter, however I never received a follow up.  Informed the BBB that no further action is required as this matter had been resolved by the customer support team.  Submitted a request for removal using WhitePages online submission forms after changing our contact number.

      I have attempted MULTIPLE times through multiple different methods (the online opt out request form, emailing the support email address directly, and filling out a ticket with customer service) and each time I am met with either an error or an automated message saying my request is unable to be completed. It is UNETHICAL to host my personal information on this website without my consent and then make it impossible to actually remove my information. If the website truly is complying with the law that I have the right to opt out of my personal information being hosted on this website, there should be no reason why they cannot remove my information and notify me when this has been completed. My resolution: I would like my personal information removed immediately from this website AND all associated data deleted completely from white pages data servers.

      White Pages has taken my private information and put it all up on the internet for anybody to find.I currently have a violent stalker and I need to protect myself. I would like any of my private information removed, including my age and addresses in ******** I really appreciate the BBB. They are strong advocates. Thank you.

However if they try to put up a slightly misspelled name or make any more information public I will reopen the case. Also it says it takes 48 hours for information to be removed so with that caveat being said I cannot prove it has been removed yet but I am marking it as satisfied and will recontact BBB if necessary thank you

      I have never purchase any services from this company. Whitepages charged my credit card $819.21 from June 6, 2024 through February 6, 2025. I contacted them on February 12, 2025 and reported the fraudulent activity. I confirmed the email associated with the account was not mine. They indicated I would receive a credit for the charges. Later that day I received an email confirming a credit would be received but for only 4 months. I called today and was told I would not receive a credit for the other 3 months I was charged. No explanation was provided as to why I did not receive a credit for the entire amount I was fraudulently charged. My Whitepages case # is *******. I have credit card statements proving I was charged $819.21 over the time period .

      Whitepages knows how frustrating it can be to see an unexpected charge, so we'll make every effort to address this. I was not able to locate any accounts or fraudulent payments with the information provided. To assist with this further, please contact our ************* team. We're available at **************, available Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM EST and Saturday/Sunday, 9 AM to 7 PM EST.

      Please have your credit card available during this call. Our agents will be able to locate accounts associated with the payment by collecting the partial card number. Afterwards, we'll investigate to find any products associated with your card. Then we will disable them from future use, and refund any unauthorized payments.

      I signed up for the free trial and canceled the subscription within the trial period. I have since been charged 3 times for a membership that was cancelled, the most recent was not completed due to insufficient funds. The trial period started 12/03/24, was cancelled the same day, charged for a full subscription on 12/09/24 and again in 01/09/25. I reached out to the company for a full refund of both subscription charges, they stated they could only provide a refund of the 01/09/25 charge and could not provide a refund of the 12/09/24 charge since it was from 2024. I can provided a screen shot of the original cancellation confirmation, the charges that have occurred after, and a new screen shot of the communication between their customer service and myself.I am requesting a refund of the 12/09/24 transaction since the subscription has been cancelled and was therefore a merchant error that should be corrected.White pages ticket ID is # *******
