I had the same problem. Did anyone solve this problem? I paid for the two month fee already....

Horrific customer service, if you can even call it that. I tried to cancel my trial subscription as soon as I saw an invoice pending email. That was on a Monday morning. I was informed that I was too late and was charged $70. But that's not even the worst part. I (wrongly) assumed that if I was charged for a month that I would at least have access for a month. WRONG! They canceled my subscription and kept my money without giving me any access. So basically I made a donation to the company since I paid for services NOT rendered. Even if they refused to refund me, they should have allowed me access for the month. I am going to challenge the charge with my credit card to see if I can get a refund. Deceptive, unethical and frankly just not nice. If you want to retain customers and grow a business, this is not the way to go about it. I hope this post helps others from falling into this trap.

My wife signed up for a free trial. These thieves forced her into an annual subscription that charges $70 a month and almost $1000 a year. We have requested that they stop charging and cancel the subscription but they refuse to stop charging us. Charging us for a service we do not want or use is theft.

Scam - subscription and deceptive practices. I signed up for a 30-day trial with istock.com and did not cancel the within the 30 days. When I was charged $70 for the month, I contacted istock via email to cancel and request a refund, I was told by their rep they have a strict no-refund policy. I was a little bothered by the fact they wouldn't do what's right so I ate it and followed the directions they gave me to cancel. I did cancel the agreement. The following month I was charged the $70 again. I reached out to istock via email and was told they have a strict no-refund policy but would cancel my subscription. I feel they are disingenuous and are using deceptive business practices to ***** out whatever they can from consumers. I have the paper trail and will challenge it with my bank. Hopefully, this post will prevent at least one unaware person from doing business with them as I am 100% opposed to companies who use deceptive practices.

We've all dealt with subscription services, but this company stuck a $70 charge on my card after the trial ended and I immediately called to cancel and they refuse to refund despite never using the service and an immediate cancellation. Come on. Don't point at the details -- any other subscription service would do the humane thing here and refunded. AWFUL business ethics.

Signed up for a free trial subscription to download ten free photos. I forgot to cancel it and was billed $70.00. Based on the invoice I received I believed it was $70 per year and I had been charged a full-year upfront so I decided to keep the subscription. I was then charged another $70 a month later. It was not clear to me on the invoice it was $70 per month. It appeared confusing to me and I stare at invoices all the time. I submitted a cancellation request via their website and received an email back saying I would have to pay a $70 "administrative charge" to cancel the subscription. I was told it was a year long contract and I would be billed every month for the full-year unless I paid the fee. I had to put a stop payment on payments from them through the bank. The email was very generic and offered zero customer service and was not even signed by a company representative. If you need photos from them, buy them individually, do not become duped into a contract subscription.

This is so deceptive on their part to offer a free trial for 30 days and if not cancelled a 1 year subscription is automatic. Why would a business try to lock someone into a 1 year subscription? It is obviously deceptive based on the number of these reviews. I tried unsuccessfully to cancel my subscription when I noticed it came out of my account and I emailed that very first day to try to get a refund and cancel my subscription. Now, I have had a second payment come out of my account. I downloaded one image on the first day I started my "free" 30-day subscription and so far I have paid a $140 for that image. I would like my subscription cancelled and my money refunded. Customer # ********

Subscription SCAM - Out of all the subscription experiences from various vendors, this one has to be the most unfair or deceptive business conduct. I could not cancel my free trial (4 days short) due to medical reasons and was told the best they could do was charge me for half of a 1/Year subscription. This $425, in my eyes, is a penalty for my medical status, which included admission to a hospital. In addition, they did not even consider that I had never downloaded content or used any credits at any point in time.

The iStock photo company offers a free trial to entice people to sign up. However, they do not disclose that the regular subscription fee is $75 per month, and they do not provide refunds. Cancelling the subscription is also not allowed, and even after turning off the auto-renewal, I was still charged $75 the following month. This predatory business practice has affected many others, as evidenced by thousands of one-star reviews online detailing similar experiences of being targeted by this scam.

So disappointed in my recent experience with istock recently. I signed up for a free trial, and missed the cancellation date. So I was OK with paying for a month until I could cancel. I am used to a monthly agreement with the option to cancel.HOWEVER - this "free" trial automatically commits you to a YEAR of paying for the premium subscription with NO options to cancel or downgrade. The details are not clear on the sign up page. I was offered an option to pay for cancelation for the amount of 382$ plus tax. I am just sickened by the tricky way that I fell into this.
