I gave the business over 500$ to start an LLC. It let me do everything only for a WEEK later after the deadline is 2 days and I paid for expedition that I cannot start my LLC because the name was taken(WHY DID YOU APPROVE ME THEN!?) that I had to start over completely. I have been on the phone with them several times CLARIFYING! IS THERE ANYTHING LEFT FOR ME TO DO ON MY PART!? Nothing. Then I was forced to pay TWICE for the new LLC. When I removed the other account because there should be no reason Im paying for a USELESS account. They shut down BOTH accounts in the middle of the work day with no call or notice! Obviously losing our phone/email impacted my business severely. They shut my new LLC because I REFUSED to pay for an LLC I cannot use! Then they blocked all my access and no one knew what the h*** is going on. This company is a scam that doesnt know what they are doing. I have to wait 14 days for a 2 day ***! *** COSTS 200!? THE *** IS FREE FROM THE STATE WTF ARE YOU CHARGING 200 for!? NORTHWEST IS A SCAM and will not refund me the money THEY STOLE from me by not giving me what I PAID for

      Hi ********************,

Thank you for bringing your concerns, we take all feedback seriously and want to address each point you've raised.

*** Formation and Costs: We understand why you feel you've paid over $500 to start an ***, as your total payments across multiple attempts did exceed this amount. However, we want to clarify that this wasn't our intent. Our normal process would have been to work with you to resolve the name issue for your first *** attempt, rather than creating additional ***s. This would have resulted in a much lower total cost. The higher total came about because separate charges were made for each distinct *** formation attempt ******************* 4 ************* and ***************** The largest single charge for any one *** was $194.

Name Availability and Multiple Payments: We understand your frustration about the *** name being unavailable and feeling forced to pay twice. Here's what happened: For 4 ************* our initial check showed the name was available, but the state ultimately rejected it due to similarity with an existing company. Our standard process in this situation is to reach out and offer alternative name options or a refund. However, instead of following up with us to provide an alternate name, you chose to create a new company (Mighty Fast ***) and made a separate payment for this new formation. This is why there were multiple charges, each for a distinct *** formation attempt. We apologize for any confusion this caused and recognize we could have communicated more clearly about your options after the name rejection.

Account Shutdowns: We acknowledge that your accounts were shut down, and we sincerely apologize for not communicating this clearly. This action was taken due to multiple charge disputes filed with your bank or credit card company across all three ***s.

*** Charges and Timeline: You mentioned a $200 charge for an *** and a 14-day wait. Our records show a $50 *** charge with a 6-day completion time. The *** itself is free from the **** but we charge for our service of obtaining it on your behalf. You also mentioned paying for expedition. We don't see this charge in our records, if you have any receipts or invoices showing that was the case please share them with us.

Refund Request: Due to the charge disputes you've filed, we're currently unable to process refunds. When a dispute is filed, the bank pulls the funds from our account and returns them to you. We've had $702 pulled from our account due to these disputes.

To refund you at this point, we would need you to reverse the disputes with your bank. This would allow us to process any appropriate refunds without additional cost to you.

We genuinely want to resolve this to your satisfaction. If there's been a misunderstanding or an error on our part, we want to correct it. However, we're currently limited in what we can do due to the open charge disputes.

If you have any documentation showing different charges or timelines than what we've stated, please share it with us. We're here to work with you to resolve this situation.
Please feel free to reach out to our support team directly. We're committed to finding a resolution and moving forward positively.

I recently decided to start a small business. I used Northwest Registered agent to create an LLC. Everything was fine until i tried to open bank accounts for my new LLC when i was told by a banker that i wasn't a beneficial owner. as a sole owner of the company i was surprised that Northwest Registered agent was not transparent upfront with me; obviously it was my intention all along to open bank accounts. when i contact Northwest they tried to charge me $152 for them to file an amendment. unhappy that a large corporation is taking advantage of first-time entrpreneurs and small business owneres by hiding behind legalese in the initial creation of LLCs. how easy is it to say up front, "do you intend to open bank accounts for this LLC?" this entire problem would be solved. very shady and misleading from Northwest.

      Hi ******,

Happy Friday, I hope you're having a nice week so far.

I'm a supervisor here at Northwest and was made aware of the BBB complaint that you made. I attempted to give you a call, but it was just endlessly ringing so I wasn't able to leave a voicemail.

I specifically wanted to handle this one because the root of your issue, and your solution to the problem is something that I have been trying to get added for a while now. It's unfortunate that it got to the point of a complaint being made, but this should help my case in getting something implemented into the account regarding the issue.

It's not a super common issue that constantly comes up as we do supply the initial resolutions document which puts the company in your name, and most ***** do seem to accept that - But it happens often enough to where I believe it's worth adding a disclaimer on the intake forms for states like ************** that allow member information to be omitted if opted in for.

I can see that the original representative had offered to waive our $100 filing fee for the filing and we did submit the amendment for the state cost of $52 but we should've offered to cover the cost in full up front, so I do apologize for that. If it works for you I'd be more than happy to refund that $52 back to the original payment method as well as extend your registered agent service an additional year so when that first year is up you don't have to pay the $125 to continue with us. If this works for you, please shoot me a confirmation and I'll get the refund initiated and extend the service through 8/2/2026.

If not, please also let me know as I'm happy to explore other options on how we can make this right for you.

I do apologize that it got to this point, but please know our intentions are certainly not to take advantage of small business owners. Sometimes there is just a disconnect between us on the front lines who are actually speaking with the customers, and the content writers and developers who are implementing information on the site. We really do value the feedback and I'm taking this up the chain so changes can be made.

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

I cancel the service requested with this company 10 minutes later and they didn't cancel my request, now im facing state charges and penalties due to their fail. Im in the process of a legal lawsuit so just to let people know DONT trust this company services at all.

Here's a quick recap of where we are at-

***** purchased a formation + corporate book and seal back in June of 2023. We submitted formation at 3:53 AM, and he cancelled at 4:05 AM. The timing was unfortunate, but we didn't do a good job of following up to resolve the request and he has every right to expect more from us. It is clear to us that he just wants the company dissolved.

Since the client used their own mailing address on formation, a webfile number was sent to him that is required to dissolve the company. He can't track it down but has requested the comptrollers office to send him a new copy. Once he has it, he will send it our way. As soon as we has it, we are going to work to get the tax clearance certificate and then dissolve the company with the state at no cost to him.

I canceled my Northwest Registered Agent account on January 10, 2024, and I informed all my contactsof my new address. However, some people were still sending mail to Northwest, and I was still being charged $50.00 foreach document to access it. On April 19, 2024, I sent Northwest an email requesting that they cancel my service and cease taking mail on my behalf. The reply was, "We would like to ensure that any mail that is received on your behalf is still delivered to you, even though your services have been canceled." Unfortunately, that mail is locked and will cost you $50 to unlock without active service.A court filingthat demanded my presence in court was one of the letters that Northwest accepted. By happenstance, I learned about this hearing from another source, preventing the issuance of a bench warrant for my arrest. The fact that Northwest Registered Agent can take mail on your behalf without active service, charge a viewing fee, and destroy correspondence after 30 days should be illegal.

      Hi ******,
I hope youre doing well. First off, ** really sorry for all the frustration this has caused you. I understand how stressful dealing with important mail, especially court-related documents, can be.
You canceled your services with us on January 10, 2024, but some mail kept coming our way. As your registered agent at that time, we had to accept and upload those documents, even after your cancellation, which led to the $50 fee to unlock them.
When you reached out on April 19, 2024, asking us to stop taking your mail, we explained our obligations and the associated fees. To make things right, Ive gone ahead and removed the payment locks on all your documents, so you can access them without any additional charges.
Additionally, to help you transition smoothly to your new address, were giving you a free year of service in both ************** and **************. This means you wont have to worry about those $50 fees for the next year, giving you more time to update everyone with your new address.
I genuinely apologize for any inconvenience or stress this situation has caused you. Were here to support you and make sure this doesnt happen again. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
      Take care,

Regarding filing the new business name, you assured me it would be First-*************** with a period after Corp. to indicate it is an abbreviation of the word Corporation. You were late to file, there was no communication, and I had to do more chasing as a follow-up. I paid on April 24th 2024 and was given these time lines *******:Processing Time: Approximately 9 business days ********:Processing Time: Approximately 17 business days ***********:Processing Time: Approximately 7 business days I want to be refunded the money I paid for the state registration, and you must redo the registration for the correction of the name

We would be glad to help out *****. We have attempted to call him multiple times over the past few days and have emailed as well.

As a brief summary, NY puts the (.) at the end of Corp by default, WY Amendment with (.) at end of Corp has been submitted, once we get the WY amendment back the company name will be updated in the account to match the state and then we can submit the ** amendment.

We have also submitted a refund request for the full amount he paid, which is can take up to 10 business days to process but has been initiated on our end.

We believe that this should resolve his concerns, but if there is anything else he can reach out to our support team and we'll do our best to help. Thanks,

I am extremely unsatisfied with my recent interaction with Northwest Registered Agents. I have been using them for years with my business filings. Recently I had them file for Texas and the wrong principal address was used on the form. When I requested that it be corrected they wanted to charge me money for their mistake. I cannot receive my professional licenses in ***** without this address being updated. They have cost me not only money, but great hardship. My principal business address should be *********************************************** How can we get this resolved??

I reached Northwest Registered Agent Service to help me transfer the entity from one state to another. The outcome of it is below:1. ********* does not have a customer ********************** that would be available to assist. After calling them for 3 days, I understood that it was useless.2. I contacted them directly with the question if they have the information what is required for this entity in the state we are moving to. The answer was that ********* could not assist with the sales taxes and the payroll. But it was not the question. They are also incompetent. 3, If I cannot reach them, how the state will be able to reach them to send you any notice? You mostly will miss all deadlines and any notices forwarded to the Registered agent at ************* is a very low-quality service they provide. p.s. If ********* does not resolve the issue until the complaint is submitted on them, how can it be a reliable company?

This one is a little hard to pin down, but it looks like she was wanting to hire us to design her website and didn't need our help with filings. We would be glad to help resolve her concerns.

Our senior team lead reached out and was able to ask some probing questions and did try to follow up by phone later in the day when she responded via email.

Whereas we were able to leave a message for her in the morning before reaching out by email, we were directed to a disconnected line (twice) by the afternoon. She may have blocked our number.
I'm still on the lookout for more details by email since she did respond there!

I have used Northwest Registered Agents since March 2018, when I incorporated my business, First-****************************** Inc.Part of the services I subscribe to is mail forwarding for $50 per month.Any mail received at ***************************************************************** is forwarded to my local address, *************************************************. On March 14, 2024, my mail forwarding service was canceled due to non-payment seven days after the invoice was sent. All of my previous invoices were paid within thirty days, and I never had service canceled because of this seven day due date. When I attempted to add the mail forwarding service back to my account, I saw it was $20 per month. Surpised by the different fee, I asked a customer support representative when the price was lowered, and she said she could not tell me. Since I received no communication of this change and the customer support representative could not confirm when a price change occurred, I must assume that I overpaid $30 monthly from March 2018 to March 2024, totaling $2,160 in overpayments.Im seeking reimbursement of $2,160 payable to ************************ Consulting Attn: ************************* *************************************************

We have had our senior team leader working to resolve this issue with ******************. We agree that our communication with him could have been better, and are offering to refund the difference between what he paid and what our lowest rate during that time was. The refunds are being worked on with our accounting team currently, we are having to split the refunds between check and returning to original method of payment. We are not able to send a single check due to restrictions with our payment processor. Our hope is that this will re-establish trust in our services and allow us to continue our relationship with his company.

Formal Complaint: Unauthorized Use of Company Information by Northwest Registered Agent LLC I am writing to file a formal complaint against Northwest Registered Agent LLC for the unauthorized use of our company's information. Our company, Obelisco Advisers LLC, has recently discovered that Northwest Registered Agent LLC , under the direction of **************** ************************* which is a client of Northwest Registered Agent LLC, has been utilizing our address, phone number, and email addresses without proper authorization to conduct business. Despite our attempts to address this matter directly, the unauthorized use of our information persists. Our attempts to resolve this issue amicably have been met with resistance, and we have already issued 2 cease and desist emails. However, the unauthorized use continues, compelling us to seek assistance from the Better Business Bureau. This unauthorized use represents a serious violation of our intellectual property rights and has caused disruption to our business operations. Additionally, we seek the BBB's support in bringing attention to the unauthorized use of our information by **************** ************************* and the companies he represents as a client of Northwest Registered Agent LLC. Business Response

I've attached the communication from our corporate guide, including it here as well.

I first want to extend my apologies to you, since review of the prior correspondence from you as well as your legal team has illustrated numerous attempts to reach out to resolve this issue. You mention that you met resistance when reaching out to us for help, and I can definitely understand where you're coming from here. However, review of the correspondence from our end shows a series of misunderstandings and technical errors made without any intention to infringe upon any property or rights. It is my hope that the following explanation can be taken in good faith, and that it provides some reassurance of our steps to rectify the above described issue as well as what our role moving forward will be.

To better explain the issue, it appears that we received a request to release two (2) companies under your management to a former client of yours, ******. We moved nine (9) companies associated with the account tied to your email at *************************** to a different account for your former client. From there, we recognized the error and promptly updated the account to include your contact details, and then moved only the two (2) companies to a separate account for ******, leaving the rest tied to your account. From here, we've taken every step to ensure that your information was limited only to your account in
keeping with our Privacy Policy. No one else has access to the companies listed on your account, which include:

      **** EDUC SOLUTIONS LLC
      DIGITAL BOARD SOLUTIONS LLC
      BOUNDLESS CAPITAL LLC
      TFS Service Company LLC
      TOF Consulting LLC
      Recpam LLC
      CORE LINES LLC

If these companies are no longer associated with you, we can definitely get them moved over to the correct account which is not associated with your contact information so that there is no remaining connection to your company. From there, you will no longer receive any notices for businesses which are being managed by your former client. I believe that this will solve the issue, since the only person who is currently authorized to act on behalf of these companies or view any information regarding them within our database is ********************* (***************************). Moving these companies to a different account will ensure that no one acting on behalf of these companies will be doing so under
your contact information. I'd really love to make that switch over so that we can resolve this amicably, so please indicate whether we will need to move these companies to another person and we'll get that fixed right away!
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us by email or phone. You can also request my direct help, and I'll be able to respond directly or provide a timely callback to further assist you.
