      Extremely generous replacement of window panes on multiple windows. Schedule was reasonable for warranty work and replacements were done quickly and professionally.

      After 18 years, the seal broke on 4 windows. Milgard stood by their warranty and replaced all of them without charge. The service was prompt, efficient, and we are extremely pleased with the new windows.

      We orderd large Milgard windows and a glass slider. After our contractor noticed the windows were not square, the Milgard techs came out to inspect them. They confirmed there was an issue with the frame, but on top of that, after taking the windows apart let us know that they were not even sealed (essentially Milgard just sold us materials but not a window). This was the case for several of the windows. In addition to that the single hung windows would not stay open all the way, they would slide down. Milgard let us know that they could not hold the glass and had to replace the glass with a lower quality (less heavy) glass. I let them know I wanted to return the windows as we were not happy with the quality; they not only did not allow this they only credited us $400. This entire process took 8 moths and delayed our construction substantially. I am stuck with Milgard's terrible product. Lastly, their customer service was awful. I constantly had to reach out to them to ask for an update on the situation. The first two techs that they sent out were good, but I will never recommend a Milgard product to anyone/. The fact that we had to keep these windows even though we never would have purchased them if we knew the hardware could not support the glass, is not okay. The dismal customer service was also extremely frustrating. Don't purchase Milgard, there are other manufacturers available, and I am sure you will get better customer service if something goes wrong.

      I have used Milgard for 20 years, being recomended by my son-in-law, a contractor with over 35 years experience. I recently had a warranty issue. i used the Milgard website to file my claim. The response time was excellent. I took the necessary measurements and obtained the mfg # (all easy to do) and in a matter of weeks the defective window (fogging) was replaced. The repairman arrived on the date and time agreed to and the repair was completed in 15 minutes. Very friendly and professional service. And the company stands behind their product. The window was over 15 years old.

      I ordered a multi panel slider door and the door itself came bent and bowed , unable to install. My contractor has installed 1000s of these and says its naturally defective. Milgard is not replacing it according to ********** who I ordered it through. Im not a fan of milgard customer service as they have delayed any response. Im going to replace it with ******* and continue to fight for some kind of defund, ugh

      Our window installed in **************************************************** between two panes do to some manufacturing deficiency. Went on the Milgard site to file a warranty claim against their lifetime guaranty and was contacted within 48 hours to set up a replacement. Was sent an appointment within a 2 hour window and then the work crew called 15 minutes prior to arrival. They got the job done quickly, cleaned up afterwards and were professional and polite. Can't say enough about the great service.

      After placing a warranty claim, the **************** tech showed up on time and answered all my questions. However he was not able to do anything about the problem with my windows. The problem is deformation of the frame due to heat from sunlight. He stated that the deformation was "within company specs", whatever that means. The problem was not with the service tech, the problem is with the Milguard products, poor engineering in my opinion. So the bottom line is, ******** will not do anything to correct the problem with our windows unless they will not lock or a leak develops. Aesthetically I just have to live with it. Hum, thats what 15 grand gets you!?

      The finish on the fiberglass doors and windows could have been better. Many small scratches, small variations in color, and the joints were not clean - no color on some edges. Given that, the Milgard service response was exceptional. However, they could only do so much to fix the problems after installation. We did order more Milgard windows after this first set was installed.
