Loans run through BECU create significant headaches as they do not easily setup automated payments. They are outdated and work on Faxes or mail to get this built. Their esign requires you pay their BECU loan with the BECU bank account that you do not have. It's 2023 and they cannot find a way to easily setup automated payments - don't use them for any loan. The only reason I've given 2 star is their CS team was accessible and understood their system was outdated. So +1 star for having good humans i guess.B E C U

I requested that $9500 on my First Tech Choice Mastercard be transferred to my BECU Cash ********* card as part of BECU's promotion of 0% interest for 12 months. The amount was charged immediately to my BECU **** card but no payment has been made to First Tech as of today 2/27/2023. BECU says they sent a paper check on 2/10. First Tech says they do not have record of it.It seems to me that both financial institutions are playing with the system to earn more credit card interest. It is peculiar that BECU sends a paper check instead of doing an electronic transaction. Both institutions claim they have no control over this. Yet when I conduct a transactional charge on either of their credit cards anywhere in the US, the charge appears on my account within 24 hours. But they can't even transfer money to each other within 10 days even though they participate in what is known as shared-banking. I can use my debit cards interchangeably with their ATMs.B E C U

I wanted to love BECU. I've banked there for about 10 yrs. had a mortgage with them, everything. I cannot tell you all the problems. Endless. Very disturbing to think this place is in charge of my money. Hours and hours on the phone. No "common" sense, no ability to problem solve their own issues (often simple ones) no professionalism. I have clearly voiced my concerns multiple times to this institution. **************** people are always polite and I believe they are trying but can't seem to get results. The individuals running BECU, sorry to say, are not bright enough for the job.B E C U

Becu is the worst lender I gave ever delt with they don't care to help or try to provide help even though you tell them that you are going through a financial crisis.just last year I lost my job due to covid 19 I was able to find another job within a week or so I reported it to them that I was making 2000 dollars less than my last job and it was told to seek financial counseling.instead of offering programs that would help with my situation.instead it was can you make they payment today and why are your delinquent.these ppl don't they want you to miss a payment or you can't make a payment so they can repo your property that how they make they money.it's easier to Fuck you over than to help you.i will never do business with this company .i will also let all my friend and family know not to do any type of business with the vulturesB E C U

I have an autopayment set to pay my car loan. For BECU autopayment, you need your BECU savings account to pull payment from other bank and car loan will pull from BECU savings.They pull the money late by one day and charged me every month for late fee and insufficient funds. I only found out after almost a year. We dont have the time to baby sit our accounts and thats the reason why we do auto payment.I called them before and I was told not to worry about the notice I get on the mail as the payments are all good.Other banks will forgive you for 1 day delay but not BECU, although the delay is on their part.I tried to explain to their customer care but they wont hear me out and just insist that it was my mistake for not checking.Their system is very outdated. I will rush to move my car loan to another bank even if i have to pay more as its not worth my sanity to deal with this outdated, inconsoderate and unreasonable bank.B E C U

Horrible place to bank. They have an app to notify you, but they do not use it. Multiple times major changes to my account with no notice. If I had other options I would take it, but I just dont make enough, so I am trapped with this awful company.B E C U

I will tell everyone I know how predatory this credit union is. They repoed my car that I had been paying on for 5 years becuase they didn't feel like processing a payment. Now that I am trying to pay the rest of my car so I can get it out of the repo yard the department that processes the pay off conveniently can not be reached. I have called dozens of times to be sent to a voicemail, be told that they will "have someone call me back" or another BS excuse. They are trying to rake up fees so much so that a person could not afford to get their car out. This company has no morals or ethics. As a health care worker who is just trying to be able to get to work to support their community this is sickening.B E C U

I have had 4 Auto Loans with BECU and been a member with them since 2013. To this point I have always had great service with them till my last auto loan. I purchased a car 6 months ago and added it to my insurance, however there was a glitch in my app and my new car was never added to the insurance. I had auto payment each month from my insurance which I believed to be for my new loan but it was actually being applied to my previous vehicle which I no longer owned. BECU never received my updated insurance card and automatically added CPI for the months I didn't have insurance which was nearly $3000 and over 4 times more then the current insurance I was paying. This was not an attempt by me to save money by not getting insurance since I was clearly paying monthly insurance but it was mistakenly going to a vehicle I no longer owned. BECU did not attempt to call, text or email me once before charging me the **** I tried to talk and explain this to them but they were not understanding at all and claimed they sent me 1 letter warning me which I never once received. I am planning on canceling all my business with BECU and refinancing with a more trust worthy credit union if this cant be resolved.B E C U

**************** is terrible. I had so many bad experiences in ONE year of banking with BECU. I refuse to use this account ever again. ZERO STARS!Go to WSECU instead. Their mobile app is easy to use, they allow you to skip loan payments (if needed), they ALWAYS refund me INSTANTLY for fraud, and they allow a much higher credit card limit. They also call about any suspicious activity on your card automatically, so you dont have to check your app every. Single. Day.Oh, and, WSECUs mobile app actually updates as soon as a transaction goes through. My BECU credit card that got cancelled for fraud still shows I owe a $700 balance 10 months later. What a joke.I have been using WSECU for 6 years and I only opened a BECU account because of the $150 bonus and 2-3% cash back. DONT DO IT!! Its a SCAM!!!B E C U
