      This place is a money grab they prescribed a medication that they never have so we have had to go through chewy. They tell me we are in a relationship but only want to see your pet when its time to pay money! Dont use Banfield its a joke a ************************** is absolutely trash! This is the Banfield located at ****************************************************** Dont go there!

      Im extremely upset that I took my dog **** to get spayed at Banfield. She was wearing a cone on her head and the tie wrap was so tight around her neck that it scraped her neck. I had to bring her back to the vet for a look at her neck. The vet provided her with the wrong size cone. I had to pay ***** for antibiotics for her neck because of their mistake.

      We initially started going to our local Banfield in 2019 after the adoption of a senior beagle. We had a good experience that first year - we saw the same vet each visit, appointments were available within the week, we really liked our vet. The Wellness plan was actually a great deal for a dog that we didnt know well that had a lot of issues. They got him tuned up pretty quickly. Then COVID hit and I dont know what changed but it went downhill fast. I can understand the need for walk-back and drop-off visits during COVID, but not two years later. I cant in good consciousness leave a 13 year old dog there in a cage all day. And count the names on the board2-3 doctors are seeing 100+ animals a day? So after 3 years at Banfield we went elsewhereto immediately find out our dog has Cushings disease and has likely had it for some time. All the little deteriorations Banfields docs were telling us were due to old age are due to Cushings. A month into treatment and hes markedly better.I have to wonder if he was even SEEING a doc at all those visits at Banfield. The new vet put his hands on our dog for 15 seconds and knew what was wrong. Testing the same week confirmed it. Banfield would have just let him die.

      Staff is great but the wellness program is a rip off. You do not save money by enrolling your pet and if you pet passes away they make you pay out the annual monthly enrollment charge.

      My pup ***** got in a brutal doggy scuffle yesterday- hurt his leg but hes healin up quickly! ??Just want to shout out to Banfield Pet Hospital on 82nd for their amazing and sweet assistance! I called and talked to **** (hospital manager), texted him photos, he kindly gave me all the advice so we could avoid an anxious (and turns out, unnecessary) trip to the vet. **** was concerned, realistic and responsive. I couldnt be more grateful! Thank you so much!

      all they care about is money !!!!!!!!!!!! they don't care one bit about your pet. they want to get you in there and act like they care and then they start hitting you with all the things you should do or things you need to do and try and rack up the charges as much as they can. then if you decide not to do all that they have suggested they try and make you feel like c*** that your choosing not to do whatever they are suggesting. they use the love you have for your pet as a weapon to get as money as they can out of you!!!!!!!!! run from these money hungry p.o.s !!!!!!!!!!

      Do not go here. They will rob you of all your money. The Wellness program is a total scam. I can not say it enough. I just had to pay $325 to get out of the wellness program. I am currently fighting to get it removed.

      The location nearest to my home failed to communicate to me that my dog had a severe heart murmur, we caught it too late after I took her to another emergency veterinarian not affiliated with Banfield. Lost her to heart failure this past weekend. Never trusting Banfield with a pet ever again.

      I strongly encourage anyone NOT to enroll in the Wellness Plan. Please go to a Veterinarian or animal hospital and pay the 1 time fee. My dog died days after his comprehensive visit; when the doctor told me he was doing well just growing old. When I chatted with Banfield (couldn't reach over the phone) I was told that the 1 visit cost $600!!! That I couldn't cancel my plan and would have to wait for the renewal date in March 2023. I think there should be a law against this practice. I am going to contact my state legislator and make sure they are aware of the practices of this "company".

      Banfield lovers,This post is all about to explain the greediness of Banfield wellness optimum plans, if you are currently a wellness optimum plan member, beware, this plan is a big scam, you know why, because you will have to pay this plan's premium every month even if your pet passes away, yes you read it correct, no matter even if your pet passes away, they will want you to complete the full year payment, please continue to read my story. I had my pet dog "Maya" ****** retriever with Banfield since May 2011, so if you calculate the years, its pretty close to 11 years and 3 months, I have been paying the wellness plan premium every month and I am sure I paid at least 5k or more over these years on this wellness plan. **** passed away yesterday, I called to cancel the wellness plan, person said, they cannot cancel and I have to call different number, seriously, why? If I can enrolled in one of the Banfield office, then I should be able to cancel in the office as well, right? anyway, I called the other # explained the situation, the person was not even sorry for my pet but wanted to talk about how the plan premiums work, really? The plan is basically that provides discounts over the treatments that is done on the pets through out the calendar period of 1 year, she continues saying since May 2022, you had treatment for $800 something and you have paid close to $150 something in plan premium, so I will have to pay the difference either now or in a course of 12-month period, seriously? Is this a joke? Are you all even human sitting behind that phone and answering these phone calls? What kind of greediness is this? Where is the humanity? Where is the ethics? Why are you all like this? If you even had one bit of kindness in your heart, you wouldnt have talked about the balance for the wellness plan. bottom line, Banfield's we love pet and their wellness and everything is fake, all matters to Banfield is Money and nothing else
