**GOOD LUCK GETTING A REFUND!**I would love to leave a zero star rating if I could. The only positive thing about our experience with this Ashley Home Furniture store was the patient and kind young woman helping in the customer service department. We made a purchase at this Ashley Home Furniture store in October 2021. After numerous delays on delivering the furniture, we finally decided to cancel the order and request a refund. It is now June 2023 and we have not seen a dime of the money spent on the couch we DO NOT have.The store is DENYING a refund based on "store policy" that we have to have a letter from ********** verifying our identity. Nearly two years have passed since this purchase was made so naturally life has happened, the debit card we used on the account expired and the account has been closed, and we had a legal name change. Despite bringing in several forms of identification and despite ********** being legally not allowed to provide a written letter (due to security issues), Ashley Home Furniture in ******* Beach at **************************** is refusing to give us back our money.This problem was escalated as far as the regional district manager who basically told us we are ****** and now not only do they get to keep their inventory from our cancelled sale but they also get to keep our money. We just purchased a lift chair for my 92-year-old mother. Our salesperson James was knowledgeable and friendly and took a real interest in making sure we found the right chair. The chair we selected turned out to be a little to large and when we contacted the store we worked with Jerrell and Robin. Once again, the staff took the time to understand the situation and make sure we ended up with a chair that worked for our mother. The chair was a significant purchase for our family and the feeling that Ashley was interested in making sure we received exactly what we needed was the reason we decided to purchase here. I just bought few and on sale picture frames in order to decorate a small 1 bedroom apartment. Ana was the sales person in the ********* store and she was super kind showing me sofas and dining sets.However after reading all the comments posted here from different customers honestly Im thinking to buy the sofa and the dinning set. The Downtown ********* branch is the worst. The customer service people are all incompetent. We had to go to the store 3 times, wait for hours to be accommodated and in the end getting a damaged furniture ( which I refused to accept) and a wrong item which I needed to be changed. I am here to share my terrible experience with this company. I have been coming here for 3+ years spending about $20,000 furnishing my new home. I purchased an electric adjustable bed for $5000 with $300 insurance coverage. Thinking it was going to provide me comfort and stress free nights. I was completely wrong. The motor broke down. I’ve gone into the store several times and they have sent many workers to fix my bed and all of them have told me they couldn't fix it. After so many failed attempts with getting my bed fixed I went back to the store spoke to the manager Jovanny and the best he could do for me was return my $300 for the warranty… After spending so much money I would have hoped they would replace my bed with it only being 4 years old. To start off, our first delivery for a living room furniture set was ordered and they were continuously delayed and pushed back because of the "shipping problems in America" but we did not receive our complete set for 6 months. The delivery drivers were under the influence of drugs, had no tools and need to "piss". The couch was also broken but I was told they would not take it back but it had to be replaced. A year later we tried again (hopeful). Everything went smooth up to the delivery, bedroom furniture coming Thursday, mattresses (ordered elsewhere coming Saturday) easy enough. The delivery driver dropped and shattered the bed frame, then asked if I wanted to keep it broken. I could not cancel my mattress delivery however b/c they (just like Ashley) require 72 hrs and I had missed the window. I was told no ETA for broken furniture other than a few weeks. Furniture gets here however the only thing that was spoken to me was "sign here" & "no" they spoke in Spanish the entire time. I asked them to finish screwing the frame together & then I asked for them to place my newly wrapped mattress on the bed and was told "no" then they ran out of my house. I am being told no because a brand new, newly wrapped King mattress cannot be placed on the bed by the drivers because it was not purchased through Ashley; this would never be an issue if the first delivery drivers did not drop and break the bed frame the first time. I now have to pay to have someone put the mattresses on my bed because I cannot lift them to get them on at all since Ashley screwed up the first delivery. We are now again paying out of pocket to rectify an issue that could have been handled very easily. The fact that these guys stood here and spoke Spanish the entire time & I got "sign here" and "no" is disrespectful. I would suggest, if charging an almost $400 delivery fee, maybe get a group that does it right the first time. The bottom of one of the beds drawers were busted as well but I'm over it.Ashley Furniture HomeStore Southwestern

I made a purchased on 02/16/2023 and cancelled next day at the Mesa Ashley store. As I cancelled the transaction it is supposed to reverse and reimburse to my VISA credit the $486.59 I paid in concept of delivery and taxes and also reverse the entire transaction from my credit line on Synchrony bank. None of the two reimbursement were made. As to today March 27 of 2023, no credit or reimbursement have been made. I already went to the store four times regarding this issue and always the promise is that they will reverse the transaction and refund to my credit card. Purchased my furniture on Feb. 11th. Scheduled for delivery to my new empty apartment on March 2nd. Received a phone call on Feb. 25th telling me that the delivery date needs to move to March 8th (Not happy, but it is what it is). Then March received a phone call March 3rd informing me yet again a delivery date needs to be pushed to March 18th (Really not happy now). Then I receive an email March 7th "Great news...do you want your order earlier"? The only "Earlier date available was March 17th. So what's 1 more day sitting on the floor....Then I receive a phone call on March 13th informing me they need to push out the delivery yet again (Now I'm done with this mismanaged, logistical nightmare of a company). Explain how 1 second "hey you want it early, to suddenly oops we can't do this date now"? This is by far the WORST company I've ever dealt with in my life. They're quick to take my money, and "premium delivery of $179.00", but just can't seem to find a person to do their job. DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY!Ashley Furniture HomeStore Southwestern
