2 starsWe purchased 2 motorized recliners and the salesperson assured us that the recliners would include battery packs. Our main reason for buying the motorized recliners was that we informed the salesperson that we didn't have the appropriate electrical outlets for both chairs. When the recliners were delivered, the delivery team informed us that the recliners do not include battery packs and must be purchased separately. We should have refused the delivery but decided to go to the store and discuss the mix-up with the salesperson. The salesperson insisted he informed us the battery packs had to be separate which he did not, the customer service representative was extremely rude and offered no assistance at all. Never again will our family shop at Ashly Furniture and we will do everything we can to advise friends to stay away from that store. They will lie to get your business and smile in your face while offering no help. Please stay away!Review fromSukhi L

1 starManagement at this store is next level . Thomas the manager tells me he owns the store and if I don’t like his answer I can cancel my appointment order . It is taking me over 2 months to recive my order . Other manager Bobby’ is extremely rude and never at work . I can’t get regional manager to call me back . 1 starWe purchased a motorized recliner with the extended warranty.Chair has broke twice. This time I have had to have them out 2 times. First time they couldn't find the problem. This time they found the problem and keep telling me they will order parts and they will fix it in oct. It will take that long because it's coming from *******. I have been told 3 time they will order the parts.They do not call back as promised, give you phone numbers that you back to the automated system. No managers to talk to. I was now told that I should go to the store, they have the parts. What is going on... Never again will I shop at Ashley Furniture.Dont let them steal your money. 1 starOn May 2023 I bought a sleeping sofa at Ashley furniture store in ***********************. I also purchased their recommendation 5-year warranty according to them it was a "no questions asked repair or replacement warranty". NOT TRUE!in June 2024 the sleeping sofa broke I we called Ashley, they said that since their store one year warranty has ended the month before, we needed to get in contact with the insurance that will handle the five years warranty. when we contacted this company (REGUARD), they have been neglecting the service, we contacted them on June 26 2024 and they asked me to take pictures of the damage that was all the diagnosis that they made, based only in my pictures they said that the sleeping sofa needed a replacement part which will take 7 to 10 days for me to receive it at my house and that once I receive the part they would send a technician to see and fix the sleeping sofa it's been more than a month since we contacted the insurance and we haven't received no part and nobody has come to fix the sleeping sofa or to replace it and we've been asking them to replace it but they don't give any resolution. I initially asked them to send the technician first to make sure of the damage and to confirm the replacement part that this replacement sofa needed so we won't waste more time than the necessary for this repair, but they did not agree with that based on their procedures.It is important note, I need to highlight that since this is an sleeping sofa I use it for sleep, I am pregnant and this is affecting my and my baby's health I need this sofa to be replaced or I need my money back DONT WANT REPAIRS and also complete refund and reimbursement for damages and for the inconveniences that this has being costing me because I needed to buy extra stuff so I could have a decent sleep for my health and my baby's health.This has also been escalated to REGARD and been handle by supervisor *********** ID *****. as of today, NO RESOLUTION, please help!Review fromEdwin R

1 starThis is the absolute worst company I have EVER delt with. I wish I would have checked their BBB score sooner..... The CEO of this company Todd ************** is doing a terrible job. Issues like this start from the top!!! Just a little background I was sold a discontinued couch and the sales rep Stella added a different couch than the one that we saw at the store. I'm almost positive she knew what she was doing as stock numbers will tell you on their iPads. She then continued to sell us the "matching" loveseat with the wrong couch and successfully made this fraudulent sale. After that, when the delivery guys show up they text us that they are outside and wait for 5 minutes and then leave. I call them and ask them to wait 2 minutes and they hang up on me. After that, I work with the Manager Alex to have the drivers come back and they deliver the couch. SURPRISE!!! WRONG COUCH!!! I tried to work with Alex to get the right couch delivered and he sets up the delivery for us again with the "right couch" Second delivery attempt happens and guess what, They send the same WRONG couch! At this point, Alex is making all kinds of promises and says the couch was discontinued and this was a mistake on their part. To make it up to us he lets us select another couch set + $150 credit for the store and tells us to sell the loveseat we bought. We agree on a different couch set and he tells us to go in the next day to sign for the new couch set. (Unfortunately he was not going to be there) I get a call the next day from another manager Christa telling us this guy Alex gave us wrong information and they can't do what he promised. Not only that they can't refund us the loveseat until their regional manager approves this and this will take 24-48 hours. Then I realize I am working with a bunch of FRAUDS!!! I tried calling Alex, no answer! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FRAUDS!!! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!! 1 starWhen I purchased my two twin beds (Order #********0245), I bought an additional 5 year warranty. I noticed that one of the beds showed an issue where the headboard insert begun to separate from the rest of the bed. I contacted the warranty company on May 3rd via the portal and uploaded photos of the damage. On June 14th and 25th I reached out to the warranty company via email regarding an update and I received no response either time. I called the support line shortly thereafter and was told they apologized for the delay and would escalate my claim and that I should hear something within a few business days. I waited approximately one week and called back. Upon calling, I was told that because my furniture was discontinued; to reach out directly to Ashley Furniture for a resolve and hopefully they would issue a voucher to cover the cost of the bed. I have spoken to several representatives, each stating to give it ***** hours and they would call me back. I have not received a return phone call on neither occasion. On July 23, 2024, I reached out to a chat support agent named ***** who was online with me for an hour, asked me to provide the photos of the damage and told me that they saw the notes on my account regarding the issue. I was told to wait and never received another response back from them. I then placed a phone call (after chatting for over an hour) to have an agent tell me to wait another ***** hours to hear back. This seems to be a common response to give to seemingly satisfy the customerhowever, you can only use the we will give you a return call with a solution or wait ***** hours to hear from us so many times before it turns to agitation. 3 starsI bought a TV stand. The sales person was great and so were the guys that delivered the stand. They gave me a delivery window and kept me updated and arrived within the window time. There were 2 glass panels and 1 shelf with minor damage. A man was scheduled to come to my house to evaluate the damage. I was given a date but not a time window until the night before; so I had to block off the whole day. I did not get any updates from him, and he was 40 minutes late. He told me he would order the 3 parts and that they would be delivered by *****. Within a few days I received a package with 1 part. I called the parts dept. again twice. The second time I managed to get a live person by the name of what sounded like Marvey. He told me I had to wait 7-10 days. I asked him if he could verify whether or not they had been sent. He said, "You have to wait 7-10 days." I told him I don't mind waiting, but could he verify that they had, in fact, been sent. He said, "You have to wait 7-10 days." I told him he wasn't answering my question, and could I please speak with a manager. He said, "I already told you, you have to wait 7-10 days." So I hung up and called the store back. The CS agent at the store was very helpful in opening up a case and checking on the delivery status. However, it was taking a long time; so I walked into the store in person and spoke with the manager there. He was also very helpful. I asked for my delivery fee to be refunded, and he agreed. When the parts finally came, I received 4 instead of 2, and someone came to install them shortly after that. This time I was apprised of his progress, and he showed up on time, but I still had to block off the whole day again. 1 starHonestly terrible terrible service and total scam! Don’t ever shop here cause they will twist the truth. Nobody informed to tell me there was a delivery fee or final sale on my item? Why not? Three sales persons surrounded me when they called up my order but nobody cared to inform me of the delivery and sales? Just took my money and then gave me the receipt? ***? That’s when I decided to go back to the store to and I spoke directly to the manager who keeps telling me the sales person informed me of the shipping cost, but when she actually did not. I told him three people helped me ring up the order and nobody told me. He definitely looked surprised, but was not willing to compromise and had a bad attitude. Then I said if u have voice recording on your camera you would find out she did not tell me about the shipping. He still denied. Never shopping here again and nobody should ever! 1 starThe store delivered the incorrect furniture to my home. When I returned to the store to resolve the issue, I found the furniture had been sold to another customer. Jose, the salesperson who had assisted me, had entered the wrong serial number into the system. Also, I discovered that Jose had misled me about the 5-year protection plan. He did not disclose the cost and simply added it to my statement without my consent, which I found to be dishonest. After waiting for 2 hours Christina, the acting store manager, locate an identical set of furniture at a different location. However, she was unable to arrange delivery to my house and suggested I pick up the furniture from a store an hour away. I explained that I lacked transportation, which was why I had paid $99 for home delivery. Later, I received a call from another store, informing me that they could deliver the furniture at 9:30 pm, but I would need to pay $150 in cash for the delivery. Christina explained that the furniture was coming from a distant location and that this was the only way to ensure delivery. She assured me that the furniture would be delivered by 9:30 pm. She needed to void my statement and charging me again only for the furniture, as I would pay cash for the delivery. Despite waiting until 11:00 pm, the furniture never arrived.Throughout my interactions with Christina, I felt that she did not adequately acknowledge my frustration. Despite my emotional and upset state, she made irrelevant comments that did not address my concerns, which I found unhelpful and unprofessional.Finally, after speaking with Ayman, my furniture was delivered. He discount on the furniture and promised to reimburse me for the protection plan and delivery fee. My experience with the Ashley was highly unsatisfactory. I am disappointed with the service by both Jose and Christina. I strongly suggest that the store consider hiring new employees or retraining the current staff.
