      On 3/07/2025 I paid $9701.45 for wood siding material and shipping. Menards *************************************************************************************** Phone Number620-260-9465. We ordered 2X8X12" #2 prime tongue and groove southern yellow pine center match model #*******. The wood product we received was unusable, Dirty, Moldy, Twisted, covered in bird droppings. We feel taken advantage of because we are 1019 miles away making it difficult to return this wood. These 320 pieces of wood appeared to be picked through left overs customers rejected. **** **** Store GM tells us we are to pick through and we will be credited for what was unusable. When I told him it's all unusable for our purpose, he told us there is nothing more he will do. The ad on the Menards website describes a quality Product-which I did not receive. This was deceptive advertising. We did not receive a quality wood product as advertised

      I purchased a dog crate from Menards in **********. I was not aware it was defective until it was opened. My husband put it together and thought it was dirt but it was scratched. I contacted the store to exchange and check to see if the one crate they had was scratched and they said no. I asked if they could hold until tomorrow and they said no. They sold me a defective product and made no effort to resolve since I have to wait for my husband to put it in the car since it is too heavy. I asked if they would discount it so I wouldnt have to bring it back and they said no. Menards takes little responsibility when selling damaged merchandise. When I contacted corporate-this location they gave me the run around and said I could mail in a complaint or leave a message. I opted to leave a message and was told to mail it in! So no way to reach the company.

      I hold a government business account with ********************** and have made two purchases in the past 30 days. I have reached out to both Menards locations regarding obtaining copies of my receipts, but they have not yet been provided. Additionally, when I utilized their "Contact Us" option, I was advised to visit the stores in person for the receipts. These receipts are essential for reconciling my credit card statements, and I find it concerning that obtaining them has been so challenging. Furthermore, their website only offers a rebate receipt, and I am unable to retrieve the actual purchase receipts using the credit card lookup feature.

      I recently had new kitchen countertops installed less than a year ago, and they are already showing signs of significant wear and deterioration. This is particularly concerning because only two people live in the house, and both are very careful and gentle with their belongings. There has been no rough treatment or misuse that would explain such early damage.What makes the situation even more frustrating is that the previous countertops, which had been in place for years, never experienced any issues like this, even with regular use. The fact that the new countertops are already falling apart suggests a defect in the materials or workmanship.Given the short time frame and the nature of the damage, I find it completely unacceptable for the countertops to be failing so soon. I am requesting that the company address the issue promptly as I believe Menards should stand behind the quality of their products and services.Purchase date March 2nd 2024 Price $1620.92 The purchase date is different from the date we received them and when they were installed. We received the product around a month later and they were installed during the week of April 22nd 2024.

      To whom it may concern,

      The offerings given by ************ and ********************* are not solutions to the problem. The laminate countertops made by ********************* (which is owned by *************************) creates unacceptable products. For example not only am I having issues with one countertop piece other countertop sections have started to chip and these haven't even been installed or a year! Clearly you're making faulty products, so offering to send me a replacement piece is not sufficient, as why would I want more products that have shown to not hold up? It's also import to note that the two people living in house and using these products are adults who treat things with extreme care, so there's really no excuse for Menard **** or Midwest Manufacturing. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed at your lack of understanding and care towards your customers.

      Menard **** is ignoring the problem at hand and ignoring the fact that they own the company that manufactured the countertops. These responses feel as if no-one from their department has worked in customer service before, this is disgraceful; the lack of care and concern for the customer is unbelievable. They don't seem willing or want to resolve this issue. I've explained very clearly that replacements will not suffice as the product they make is not remotely quality, my 1970's countertops were holding up much better before I replaced them with the low quality countertops from ***********

      On March 14, 2025 I came to Menard's to buy a battery along w/ other items.On the receipt they charged me an additional $10. to return the old battery which I wasn't aware of this policy as well as it being returned in the form of a gift certificate.On March 18, 2025 I came back to the store to get my $10. returned to ****** was told it would be returned in the form of a gift certificate & not cash eventhough I sent in cash $90.89!Why are people running businesses behind hidden ********************** this is what was supposed to happen then I should have been told when the cashier said, "you will have to go to the customer service desk for your refund of your deposit."I don't want a gift certificate I want my $10. in cash.This company is disgraceful ... I have shopped at Menard's before & put in a rebate & never received the rebate! I called to ask about ******* was told to me that they sent it. I said, "well, I never received it!"Nothing was done & their returns on their rebate method have not changed; people do steal out the mail! *** They need to learn how to treat their customers because ************************* sells the same items!!Signed, a cheated & disgusted customer!!

      I have uploaded the receipt again where the respondent from Menard's can see it. I'm asking for my $10. for the battery deposit to be returned to me in cash & not by a gift certificate. Because the store said that was the only way I could receive "my money back" was for the used battery deposit to be returned w/ the used battery.

      I would appreciate my cash versus a gift certificate.

      I placed a simple order for four things in inventory and available at the ************* store. When I go to the online checkout one of the items was required to be picked up at another location 60 miles away. I called to verify that it was in inventory at the Sandusky store and yes it was. They said just come in and we'll take care of it. This has turned into an absolute nightmare. In order to do the exchange they had to delete the purchase and redo everything. Fine. This ensuing accounting disaster has completely rocked my world. When I got home from the store I got an email stating my order was ready for pickup in *********. I now owe more than what I purchased. Then I received a credit for the store 60 miles away that never charged me as they canceled the pickup that further screwed everything up. I've had to call *********** over two dozen times and you can't get ANYONE at Menard's corporate to call me. Email is the only option. I've spent SO MUCH **** TIME EMAILING. WHY THE **** CAN'T SOMEBODY CALL ME AND GET THIS FIXED!!!! I AM FURIOUS. There is even more noise to this story. This is the SHORT abridged version of this whole mess because I am sick and tired of dealing and writing about it.

      On 2/20/25 I placed an order for a few different types of cabinet pulls. Order # ********. There were 2 different sized stainless steel pulls for our current remodel. I needed both sizes to fit our cabinets needs. I was not notified but part of this order was cancelled. The cancelled item was the 3 3/4 stainless steel pulls. It still showed many stores with them available, although my order was cancelled. I did ultimately speak with a representative from Menards, who had me place an order with another store set as my favorite, so they could send the item. So I placed another order #********. These did arrive, but there were multiple open or with opened packaging. They were not in new condition anymore. Part of this may be they weren't packaged in anything but being put in a plastic Menards bag where they were able to hit against one another. Loose/opened product is not acceptable.

      Placed an order through Menard's on 2/13/2025 that was available by 03/01/2025. There was no movement on the tracking order as date of delivery. I did not receive an email about the shipping being changed. Item arrived on 3/6/2025 at the store. I spoke to the store and and was informed it was on the manufacture, *********************. I spoke with ********************* and they informed me that i had to contact Menards. I called the store requesting to cancel the order, they are saying there is a 25% restocking fee. I received no information showing I would have to pay for a stocking fee. I checked the tracking information on 03/01/2025 it showed "Order is being processed". Later that day I checked again and it showed "In Transit to *****************". The order was not delivered by the available date. I am requesting a refund and to waive the 25% restocking fee.

      On 02-16-2025 I went into the ************************************* location. I found a white door on the sales floor that met the description of what I needed. However, I needed two identical doors. My goal was to bring one door home that day from the store and the second one would be delivered. Employee advised me to get two doors from their online ordering system. He created an order for me in store and had the items shipped to the store. Unbeknown these items were "custom ordered" even though the exact item was available to take home that same day, on their floor. I went to return both items and the store is stating that they will accept the return but need to deduct a 25% restocking fee since they are custom ordered. How are they custom ordered if the sell the product at the store and I was able to bring one home? I'm writing to complain about the customer service and the way the employees took advantage of having a female present in the transaction. Nothing was explained to me and they purposely had to me order/pay for two items off their systems website. If I went ahead and purchased the exact same item on their sales floor, I would be able to receive a full 100% refund. This is extremely disappointing. The employee directed me away from purchasing the store item because he knew if I allowed him to order me products from their website, he would get commission and I would not be able to return them for the full value.
