      I ordered three doors out of state and paid expensive shipping costs. What made the cost acceptable was the 11% rebate on these purchases. However, *** received a merchandise credit check in Lew of the rebate for $157.19. There arent any menards in ***** and I was counting on the promised rebate to offset the delivery cost. Ive tried to call but first it was sent to *********** who could not help me without an account, then it transferred to an automated that did not get to a person. The definition of Rebate in the ******* dictionary is refund,pay back, a sum of money. I feel this was a scam to get unsuspecting customers.

      I went to the ********* Menards and found a door lock I liked that was priced at ****** then when looking for it the other price was different. I took a picture of the price before the manager came over and said I will not be able to get it for the 129 it was advertised for then he pulled the skew out of the display and said I had to pay the higher price. I told him that was false advertising and he said it was the wrong ***. I told him that wasnt my fault and he said he wasnt going to do anything at all. He was very rude.his name way ****.

      [Hello this is not acceptable, my order was not placed on backorder till nearly a mounth after the purchase date with was December 9th, the original date i was supposed to recive the order was 24th of December. This is not acceptable response there are many other places to source this product, as others still to today are avalable for shipping and would recive in under 10 days. This has been more than just an inconvenience... My father has been battling cancer for 2 years and had a chance to get back to work but needed a tool box as it was requested by the company and a stipulation of employment. My family told him not to worry about it and that we will take care of it, and now this.... Not only is he embarrassed but heart broken and letdown by his family, not to mention the Job position was nor avalable to him any longer cause he didn't have the necessary equipment to start, we need you to get that box to us asap like yesterday  as his emotional and mental health is now suffering! Not to mention I think you should get the item( bottom tool chest) and also the other half (top tool box) free of charge due to this devastating transaction experience. If extra money is needed to next day this order from wherever you can source it, I would be more than willing to pay half the amount. Please make this right I'm the next few days. Thank you he will be awaiting the package.

      We ordered more siding to finish the back of our house and we even took in the paper to make sure they ordered the right stuff. After the guy ordered it and gave us the paper to pay we noticed it was the wrong kind of siding. We went back and told him and he apologized and took our siding paper we brought in that said what we have been getting and he redid it. We went to the front to pay and came home to wait for it to come in. It came in, my husband drove to *********** to get it and when him and the workers started to finish the job yesterday they noticed it was the wrong siding again. They gave us D4 instead of D4 DL which is the Dutch lap. We called to talk to someone about it yesterday and it took forever to get through to them, but all they could do was reorder the right stuff and we have to wait another 2 weeks to get it again. We had the workers here to do it and couldnt plus they had already took all the old siding off so that left us with the whole back of the house with no siding and rain and or snow coming. We have had other problems before but usually let it go but I could not this time, its a BIG holdup

      On 11/22/24 at 7:56 AM CST, I placed an order with Menards using their on line internet store - delivery of items was to have been 11/26/24. Items did not arrive and after corporate customer service did not respond, I spoke with store GM "*****". I was not advised that my order would be delayed. "*****" did advise that he was alerting the proper people and that they do get deliveries on weekends. Still nothing showed up that weekend (attachment 2). "*****" and I spoke on the phone and he stated that he would ship the items to me when they got to the store due to the slow shipping. Order arrived at store 12/2/24 - I replied to ******* voicemail via text, that yes I still wanted the items (attachment 7). I never heard back from *****. I did finally get a response from "***** C" saying that she was refunding my money - my presumption was that this was due to the delay in shipping. I got an email (attachment 5) on 12/3/24 saying my order was ready to pick up. On 12/7/24 I went the store at 7:30 AM and was informed by "*******", that they had sold my items. This violates the contract (attachment 6) wherein it states that I have 14 days to pick up my order. According to the Menards website (attachment 8) screenshot taken at 11;46 AM 12/7/24 after I left the store - they were still showing that they had my order and that it was ready for pick up.The store took my money, then failed to honor the delivery, delivered it late, failed to hold for the contractual 14 days, re-sold the items, then refunded me less money than I paid.These actions violate several consumer laws and the overall lack of quality customer service, lack of response and dishonest business tactics, violate every one of the 8 BBB Standards for Trust.

      Customer did in fact respond to ** Store Mgr via text message (as shown in attachments)  stating that customer wanted the items.  ** store personnel maliciously sold customers paid for items well before the contacted 14 day time limit for the customer to pick up items.  The customer NEVER requested a refund; rather an over zealous female Menards employee took it upon herself to initiate a refund - WITHOUT notifying customer nor without customer consent.  Additionally, ********************** refunded an amount LESS THAN what the customer paid and the customer incurred additional expense in replacing items that Menards had maliciously sold.  Multiple phone calls and emails to Menards in attempting to get resolution to the this issue have gone unreturned and un replied to.  It took well over two full weeks for Menards to refund the remaining amount, leaving the customer without use of the funds - even after the ** store Mgr emphatically stated that the refund had been processed.  A fact that did not occur for over two full weeks according the bank transfer data. 

      The actions of the overzealous female employee violated the contract (attachment 6) wherein it states that I have 14 days to pick up my order. According to the Menards website (attachment 8) screenshot taken at 11;46 AM 12/7/24 after I left the store - they were still showing that they had my order and that it was ready for pick up. The store took my money, then failed to honor the delivery, delivered it late, failed to hold for the contractual 14 days, re-sold the items, then refunded me less money than I paid.

      I bought some items for Christmas and went to do a return. I paid ***** with rebate and 110 cash and ****** on my card. When I went to do the ***** return the only available option was store credit! What?! That is not right when I spent over 300 at the store I can only receive store credit. That is not right!

      ***** en la tienda de Menards los gabinetes de mi cocina, pagu la cantidad de $7, ****** dlares el 14 de ***** de 2024. Me dieron una fecha de entrega de 1 mes y medio. Los gabinetes llegaron a mi casa el da 21 ********* de 2024. Cuando abr las cajas de cartn de mis gabinetes, me di cuenta de que no correspondan al color que yo eleg en la tienda, al abrir el total de las cajas, encontr que los gabinetes venan en 3 colores diferentes. Una ****** **** manchas de tinta regada dando un mal aspecto. Un cajn vena en mal estado (daado-abierto). Habl a la tienda para abrir un reporte y se tardaron muchsimo en venir a tomar las fotos de los gabinetes que recib. Hicieron un total de 2 visitas constatando que lo que deca era correcto y tenan mala calidad. Al final se llevaron los gabinetes el **************** 2024 y me dijeron que me daran un cheque por la cantidad que pagu. Despus de tres semanas de espera, me dijeron que no me daran el dinero, que podan darme un crdito en la tienda por *** cantidad. A m no me inter*** *** forma de devolucin pues es una cantidad elevada y no requiero el consumo de artculos con ese valor. Me queda claro que la tienda hizo este proceso sumamente prolongado para llegar a esta situacin y no pueda recuperar mi efectivo. El primer reclamo se present directamente en la tienda a finales de septiembre de 2024 y fue la tienda quien se tard en dar una respuesta. Lo **** que me inter*** es recuperar el efectivo que yo pagu en la tienda.

      Menards is acting like I bought a product and then I changed my mind and decided to return it after their 90 day policy. And that's completely BS! 

      I ordered cabinets, and it took around 45 days for they to arrive (which is fine, I knew that), so those are 45 days that Menards is counting as I had a their product and didn't think of returning, so that's completely absurd. When I received the cabinets they where far from being what I order, the color was completely different, they were falling apart and there were stains all over them. I started my complaint before the 90 day policy window, but they made me waste so much time in trying to resolve the problem, that when I told them no, I don't want anything they were offering, I wanted my money back they slapped me with the "oh you're getting store credit because it's been over 90 days"

      It is infuriating to be treated like that, I went to the store different in different occasions to talk with the managers, to check how everything was going, and to make sure I was getting my money back because at this point I had already been without a kitchen for more than 2 months, thanks to Menards incompetence, and I wasn't going to wait another 45 days for another Menards product. EVERY single person I talked with in the store told me to wait, that everything should resolve and I should get my money back since I DID NOTHING WRONG!!! I paid what Menards asked for their product, it was Menards who didn't fulfill his part of the deal and is me who is paying the consequences. I wouldn't care if it was $500 dollars in store credit, I could easily spend that in any little project but it is over $7,000 dollars that they want me to spend in their store!! I ordered cabinets from another company while waiting for Menards to resolve all this so I have no use for all that store credit money. 

      All I'm asking is for my money back, but honestly I'm getting tired of wasting so much time and effort with this company. I will not stop here, I can't believe how arrogant this company has been in this situation.

      I ordered some Christmas lights from ************************** to deliver to my address in **************. I updated the address to be sure the shipping address was the new address and Menards shipped the order to my old address 300 miles away. Menards was capable enough to update my billing address but ignored me selecting the box to also change shipping address.
