      Dont get keys cut here. No price is displayed and its almost $4 higher than a local competitor.Totally outrageous!!!!!!

      Very bad customer service. I bought a big item from them. I asked if they would load it and tie it down and they said yes. I go to pick it up and I asked if it was secure and he said yes. I get 2 minutes down the highway and it blows right out of my truck because he left the pallet under It and did not secure it I called them up and they said too bad it not their problem. I spent thousands of dollars in there every year but I will never step foot in another one again.

      Purchased 25 boxes of Designer's Image New Moon Storm Grey Self Adhesive Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring to put in one of our rentals. Had a professional flooring company install it and had it glued down. Within one day we were noticing bubbling, delamination and peeling of the top layer. We filed a claim with Menard's and they sent out an inspector. This duplex was unoccupied and the floor had not been cleaned. The inspector said that there was too much moisture and that is what caused the problems and our claim was denied. He said that the box indicates particle board or chipboard, concrete surfaces which are below grade and where moisture may be a problem are unsuitable surfaces. Our surface was not below grade level, we have never had problems with moisture in this unit and the box also indicates that the product is great for basements which would be below grade level. If the product had performed like this down the line I could see where that might have been the problem however we are talking about within a day or two not weeks or month. We are out thousands of dollars and we had to wait 8 to 10 weeks for our response on our claim and when we received it, it came in a letter through the mail. We also had 5 extra boxes and were waiting for our claim results before trying to return them as to not muddy the waters. Now we are told that we have to take an instore credit for the 5 boxes. We have called our local store in ************, ******** and talked to the general manager explaining that we no longer want to do any business with Menard's since they do not stand behind the products they sell and do not want an instore credit. He told us he does not have the authority to change the policy and would have to contact the home office. That was 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard a word back. The refund would have been a drop in the bucket for a large company like Menards but is a lot for a small business like me.

      They are crooks!! First of all they manipulate you into shopping at their stores and want you to belive your saving money cause they offer rebates... Ask yourself are you saving money with their rebates if you can only use the rebates in their stores... Your not saving any money!! Your just being forced to continue to purchase over priced poor quality merchandise... And ordering is a joke as well... They will debit your account but will not provide you with items you purchasex.. And give you no phone number to get answers of why you paid for an order they refuse to give you...

      Placed a special order for siding in September for delivery on October 19. Only ordered from Menards because they could have it the soonest. However, I was advised that my order actually got pushed back and wouldn't arrive until November 21st. I called homeowner and homeowner told me that she would let me know in a few days whether she wanted to wait for the order or cancel the job all together (that's the only color that she wanted and she wanted her siding done by Thanksgiving). I live part time in ********** and part time in *********, so I returned to my home in ********** with the plan that if homeowner wanted the job done I would go back to ********* for Thanksgiving and do the job shortly thereafter. If the homeowner canceled the plan was to just stay in **********, and cancel the order over the phone. A few days after I was in **********, the homeowner let me know that she wanted to cancel the job because she only wanted it done before Thanksgiving. Being in **********, I called ************** Menard's to cancel the order, but I was told that I could only cancel in person.That meant that I would have to take a flight to ********* just to cancel my order. I then planned to visit ********* on the 15th, cancel the order, and stay for Thanksgiving with my family in *********. However, my order was delivered early on November, 13. When I went to Menards on November 15th I was told that I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee since the material had already been delivered. I tried convincing homeowner to do her siding since the material was already there, but she was uninterested. I contacted corporate and they refused to refund my order completely. I could have cancelled my order online the whole time, but I didn't know since their employee told me that I could only cancel in person. He thus then misrepresented the facts. That menards fault for not properly training their employees. At the end of the day I lost $1,500 and a job.

      In October of 2021 I purchased Farmhouse SuperFast vinyl flooring from the Menards store in Gillette, Wyoming. Within a month of installing the flooring, there were several cracks in the flooring. The cracks were on the short edge of the planks, where they butt up to each other. After contacting Menards, they told me I needed to contact the manufacturer of the flooring, Farmhouse SuperFast flooring. Menards told me that I had to contact Farmhouse Superfast flooring because this was a manufacturer warranty issue. Farmhouse flooring told me that the cracks were an installation problem and not covered by their warranty. Again, I contacted Menards and they told me to fill out an Installed Guest Complaint Form and they would send a flooring expert to inspect the flooring to see if it was an installation issue or defective product issue. After filing the complaint form with Menards and contacting them several times. They never sent anyone to inspect the flooring. The manufacturer, Farmhouse SuperFast flooring refused to honor their warranty claiming it was an installation issue. I gave up on trying to deal with Menards and Farmhouse flooring but after my latest round of repairing / patching the defective flooring, I felt I should inform others of Menards poor customer service and the horrible customer service and warranty of Farmhouse SuperFast flooring.

      Damaged my truck with their gate and won't answer my messages or emails. No contact from corporate or insurance company. Very rude store manager. At just before 10:30 am on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, I was driving to the rear of your Platteville WI store to pick up some building supplies with my son and his friend. They were in the first of 2 pickup trucks. I was in the second one. They pulled to the attendant and gave him their phone to show that they had a prepaid order and the gate raised, and they drove through. The attendant walked away from the gate, and I proceeded to follow them through the gate. I wasn't told to stop nor waved through by the attendant or any other mechanical method. No signage or anything telling me there was a timed gate or whether it was operated manually by the attendant. Halfway through the gate, it started to lower and struck my 2021 Ford F150 Lariat above the rear driver side door. The attendant told me that he didn't know I was with the first truck and that i was supposed to stop. Having seen the open gate and no other signs saying this and not being met by the attendant, who had turned and walked away to another vehicle at the exit gate, I drove forward. After proceeding around to the material pickup area, I looked and found 5 scrape marks in the paint above the driver's side rear door of my crew cab truck. I took pictures. After loading up, I stopped in the entryway of the store and told the young lady working at the desk what had happened and I was wondering what to do in this circumstance. We eventually ended up at the front desk where i was given a 2×2 sticky note pad to write down my name and what had happened. I gave a brief summary on two of the small pieces of paper and gave me. The store manager was very unprofessional.

      Their rewards program is a joke! Im sure it was in the fine print and I didnt read it so Ill take responsibility for that. The rebate came and it is in the form of a store credit. We purchased the items in ND. There is no Menards in Ok where we live. Guess they are going to get over on me with that one. ??

      Their customer service is horrendous! I've been trying for 2 weeks to return a part that was shipped wrong. HUGE DIFFERENCE in what I ordered and what I got. All I want is what I paid for. Why is this so difficult? I've called no less than a dozen *** Sent emails. Communicated via text 3 times. HELP! Please.

      We purchased paint and all of the necessary painting tools for our NEW steel doors that was highly recommended by one of the associates. Per her recommendation, we needed one quart to paint two coats on two steel doors. It is the worst paint ever! After four coats, it still looks like ****! Bumpy, didn't coat well, smears....horrible! The only choices we have is to try to repaint it with a different paint (certainly not Menards!), live with the ugliness, or buy ANOTHER brand new door and start over!
