Credit Service International placed a debt on my credit report. I have never been contacted by them and do no know what the debt is or the validity of the debt as they have failed to do their part. Per the fair credit act this business is required to notify me of the debt within 5 days of receiving debt, providing a period of time that would allow me to dispute the debt if applicable. The placement of the debt on my credit report is unlawful and should be removed immediately until such time that the credit service international follows the fair credit reporting act.Business Response

The fact remains that placement of a collection on my credit report was done so unlawfully. I filed a dispute with the credit bureau at which time the reported debt should have been removed until the proper procedure was followed per the fair debt reporting act Consumer protection Law 15 U.S.C 1681-1681x which stated before debt can be placed on a consumers credit report validation and accuracy must be validated. I have not lived on Appleton since 2015 and have always update my address. The law was broken as the procedure as outlined by the law was not followed. How will this be addressed to prevent such actions happening in the future against other consumers?PS: I intend to seek punitive damages in the near future as I believe this maybe standard practice and is unlawful. It is unacceptable and unethical to violate consumer rights. Based on the response I believe a group review will reveal similar practices towards other consumers. I look forward to further communications regarding these practices.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to dispute the collection efforts on my account with ********************************************************************* Corp due to violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). As a concerned Black woman and a consumer, I have the right to fair and lawful treatment under federal laws. I am particularly disturbed by what appears to be aggressive and illegal collection tactics that have been deployed in my case, which may reflect underlying systemic biases in the treatment of consumers like me. Upon review of the collection practices associated with this account, I have identified violations of the ****** specifically Sections 806 and 807, which prohibit harassment, abuse, and the use of deceptive or misleading representations in collection attempts. For instance, I have been contacted repeatedly at inconvenient times and have received threats of legal action, which not only misrepresents the creditor's rights but also causes undue stress and anxiety. The case of ***** v. Credit Bureau, ***** 760 F.2d 1168 (11th Cir. 1985) establishes that any false representation or coercive behavior in debt collection violates the ****** and I believe the actions taken by Credit Services International Corp are consistent with this precedent. Furthermore, in ****** *. *******, 514 U.S. 291 (1995), the Supreme Court affirmed that all parties involved in debt collection must adhere strictly to the *****. Given these precedents, I am formally requesting that Credit Services International Corp cease all collection activities on this account and remove any adverse entries related to this debt from my credit report immediately. Please provide confirmation of your compliance with this request within 30 days. If I do not receive satisfactory evidence of action taken to correct this issue, I will have no choice but to pursue further legal remedies to protect my rights. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Sincerely,**** ****** ********************Business Response

I am not satisfied with the business response because I have made numerous of attempts to get this collection verified as a response I wa denied the answers and documents showing proof of this collection. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Im requiring this collection be deleted immediately due to failure to provide proper evidence. This has been going on for 89 days in counting. I have NEVER received any mail attempting to verify this collection debt ; so once again, this company is providing false information that continues to cause issues in my day to day life. Requiring immediate deletion of this collection. This collection is violating my privacy, HIPPA Law, and 15 USC 1681EB.

This account was added to my credit report without my written permission. I never received any debt validation regarding this account, I dont even believe this account belongs to me. The original creditor is listed as *********** which i have no record of doing business with. This collection agency just bought this account without proof this belongs to me and is affecting me financially by placing erroneous information on my credit report. Unless they can provide written proof that this is my account. it must be removed from my credit report.Business Response
