      They are a horrible company. The service of their internet is slow. I had to switch internet providers after 2 months because they were not able to allow to work from home. The shutdown my services early. I had to call back to have it turned on because even though I was being charged they had to shut off my service early. Then they opened a whole new account without telling me and continue to send me what I thought were duplicate bills. I called to address the duplicate bills and they said they would take care of it but all they did was terminate the service again that was terminated in July. Then I got another bill in December. I had to call in again and there is nothing they are willing to do. I have not used their services since July but they want me to pay a bill of over $300.

      TDS. Absolutely horrible customer service. Disconnected my account and was told it would be disconnected the same day, now they are charging for a month of service I didn't have. The customer service agent didn't bother sending me a box to return the modem either. Here I am wasting my time with there agents again. Bad business to charge people for a month of service after disconnect. They are stealing from people.

      The quality of their Internet/tv service as well as customer support are simply unacceptable. They have a monopoly on broadband for our community so they have no incentive to improve.

      Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!
      I called to disconnect in JULY 2022 - I made sure I had no outstanding balance. They confirmed I had paid the remaining balance, closed my account and I sent my modem back. Next thing you know I have a bill?!?!
      I went to log on to see what was up and it said there was a problem with my account; I could not access anything. I called the telephone number for customer service. The automated messages said that there was a problem with my service and hung up on me. Next thing you know - they send my bill to a COLLECTIONS AGENCY! After they told me I had NO OUTSTANDING BALANCE.
      This seems to be a common theme with TDS. When will I get my money back? Shame on them. A scam of a ‘company’. Can’t wait for ya’ll to go bankrupt.

      Very upset with customer service! When calling to terminate my service on 10.13.22 I asked the person helping me if I owed any further costs and was told, no. I asked if my monthly payments were for the previous month, or for the upcoming month and was told payments were for the coming month. I then specially asked if there are no further fees, can I go ahead and terminate my auto pay and again I was told there were no fees owed, so yes, go ahead and terminate your auto payment. I then terminated my auto payments. One month later, I received a bill for the monthly fee plus a late fee. Called customer service to hopefully resolve this issue and talked to 7 different people before finding someone that could tell me why I received the bill plus penalty. This process took 1 1/2 hours. I’m not sure if the previous 6 people were incompetent, were trained to drag these conversations out, hoping we’ll just give up and pay, or a combination of both. After talking to number 6, I asked to talk to their manager and was immediately told the reason I received the bill with penalty was because the date I terminated my service was actually the first day of my new service month and therefore owed the fees for the entire upcoming month billing period. Like many other reviewers, I was surprised to find out they do not prorate their services, so I owed for the entire month, even though when terminating my services, I was told there was nothing further owed.
      Why these companies are allowed to not return the prorated amount of unused services is ridiculous. BBB please help us all get back our money!

      We put down $25 deposit in 2021 to hold a place to get TDS service. We were supposed to get it in October of 2021. It got pushed out to spring of 2022 due to winter. TDS did run the cable in spring of 2022. We've been waiting for hook up inside the house. My husband just got off the phone with them as we are approaching winter again and have no TDS service. He was told they tried calling him and since they couldn't get ahold of him the service was cancelled. My husband has no record on his phone of them calling or leaving a message. He was told the $25 is non-refundable. So that's a pretty good gig for TDS if they keep everyone's money and don't give them the service. We no longer want TDS with all the headaches we've encountered. They can keep it.

      The service is bad.
      I was charged $166.00 for equipment never given to me. I talked to Hilary and she refused to take the charge off.
      TDS is an unethical company that scams its customers and gives a bad and expensive service.

      I called TDS to come out and set up service & gave them all my information. TDS came out to hook us up was awesome & super kind! He stated it takes TDS a little while to set up on the back end but you should be all set! I watched emails. TDS stated it would be paperless, which is fine. All the other bills were set up with no issues. Never seen anything via email, no phone call or nothing. I had asked my son if he had seen anything the middle of October. Nothing, but said the service was working great (there is no reception otherwise). I figured with COVID maybe they are short staffed? A week later there was no service. I called TDS & chatted with (Jon?) & I explained that we had been waiting for a bill or email to get an acct # so that we could reference the account to pay it. On 6/23, TDS emailed for appt & updated acct info. No acct # or ph # to call - I had to Google it! I could only see 1 bill dated 10/10 due 10/26, it was 10/27 @ 951 pm. The guy waived the late fees as we didn't recieve anything. He said he could do that and note the account. I said my son is going to pay in full, I'll send him the info, I'm going out of town, I'll have him take care of. Nothing was said other than he would note the account to credit the late fee & restore the service and thanked me for calling. Came back today & my son had forgot as he is busy with work (16 hour days). Called in & confirmed TDS would refund the late fee (there were 2, I was informed) & that I had to pay by phone, that's what I wanted to do. TDS phone pay system acted up and I needed to be redirected. Kadisha was rude and was stating that I didn't pay and service was d/c'd (it was working last night and this morning) & was sent to collections (10/25) and that even if i paid today, a reconnecting fee would apply. I pay my bills ontime or early always. Spoke to Manager Mike, rude & not helpful. Wasn't willing to do much except take my pmt. In 40 years, I've never recieved such crappy service. Scam much?!?

      I've been trying for months to get them to refund my 100.50 credit balance after I disconnected my service. Customer service is a joke (bunch of liars). On September 26 received an email saying my refund would be sent 10/22. Today 10/28 called and was told my refund should arrive by mid November. I've been waiting since 7/22/2022 for my refund. I paid on time always but they continue to keep my money.
