I already contacted kohls, but didn't get any refund or reshipment. please help me solve this issue, thanks!I upload three photos, first one is order number and tracking number. On 11/5/22 I was in line at a Sephora inside a Kohls store waiting to purchase items. There were signs all around as there is a sale going on 30% off Sephora brand items if you are a beauty insider. I am a beauty insider, and have an account for this discount. The register at the Sephora inside Kohls wasnt working so I was brought to a regular Kohls register and checked out. I let the employee know I had a beauty insider card for the 30% off and she asked me to enter my email to get the discount which I did but the discount did not apply. It was extremely busy in the store and I did not realize until I got home that the discount did not apply to my order correctly, I made sure the items would fit the requirements of the 30% off. I live 50 to 60 miles away from the store so returning to the store easily is not an option for me. I called the store itself and was on hold for quite some time only to be told that the only way they could give me the difference between what I paid and what I shouldve paid is if I come to the store with the items to return them, and then re-buy them. I explained that I had done my part and thought everything was in order when I purchased the items and to return to the store isnt really an option for me given I live so far away. I was given the runaround and told to call several different places, and none of them could help me . I had two purchases that would have benefited from the discount one transaction for $51 and then a second transaction for $66 so 30% of that is a significant amount of money to me. I feel Kohls should give me the difference between what I paid and their error. I feel strongly that this is a bait and switch situation where advertise a sale, and I did everything I should have, but because I cant physically go back to the store they arent willing to honor discount that they advertise. I think thats misleading, dishonest and an awful way to treat customers.Business Response

I have went to the kohls store in ****** -******* store number **** phone number ************ on 11/01/2022 and bought clothes for my grandson . Then I came back today to buy more clothes but I was shocked that the prices I paid for the same clothes few days ago went down 50% so I went to the customer service and I asked if they would do a price adjustment so the lady at customer service called another lady to ask her but then all the 4 ladies at all the cash registers in the store left their cash registers and all came to customer service to argue with us in a very unprofessional and rude and low quality customer service way . They were loud and RUDE and unprofessional to us and me and my wife we felt very humiliated and embarrassed because people were looking at us since all 4 ladies were gathered around us screaming and yelling at us because we asked for a price adjustment and to my surprise non of them was a manager and when I s=asked for a manager they refused to call one for us . This is the worst customer service quality we ever had at any store or retailer . This is very unprofessional and low class and low quality customer service and very poor business practice. Why did all these employees leave their cash registers and gather around me and my wife to argue with us and yell and scream at us because we asked for a price adjustment. The prices of the clothes we bought went down 50% so yes we are entitled to an adjustment. Then they refused for us to use kohls cash . So we left very disappointed but the poor quality customer service and the unprofessional people and the rude employees and the embarrassment they caused us for a price adjustment. Kohls owe me 35 dollars for the price difference in the clothes we bought and I want that money back into my credit card refunded . I want higher managent to call me and explain to me why we were treated this way with the unprofessionalism and the rudeness of the cashiers at kohls .Business Response

I live in ******, a state that does not have a sales tax. I order on line from may ** states and I am never charged a sales tax. On November 5, 2022, I tried to order for the first time on ******.com. When I went to place my order, I noticed that I was charged a $4.32 sales tax. I did not place the order, but called ****** customer service number to ask why I was charged the sales tax and to remove it. I was told that I was talking to an out-sourced center in ***************, and it was ****** policy to charge a sales tax. If I had a ****** credit card, maybe he could help me. Then I called an ****** ****** store to ask about the sales tax but could not be connected to an "operator."Business Response

I purchased a pair of jeans from Kohls. In less than 1 month, the hem started to unravel on one leg. I contacted customer service to make them aware. I asked for another pair to be shipped and provide me with a shipping label to return the poorly made pair I received. I was told that they dont provide free returns unless it was over $300. I explained that I cannot drive, had surgery, and am unable to return via the store. They made no exceptions and told me I am responsible for retune shipping. This was not an item I decided I didnt want. It is an item that was poorly made. I dont feel like its my responsibility to pay for return shipping. Ive been a Kohls customer for many many years. At one time, I enrolled in the email list for Kohls, as I was a loyal customer and enjoyed their sales. In recent months, they would no longer honor their sales, at least online. I don't typically shop in store. When there was a good sale, the app wouldn't allow me to check out. After several times of this, I was finished with Kohls for good, especially when a customer service person on chat began asking for unnecessary very personal information in order to try and make the order process. I closed my Kohls account and attempted to unsubscribe from their email list. The problem is, the majority of their emails have no unsubscribe link. It took a long time to find one that did, and they send 5 or more a day. When I used that unsubscribe link, it didn't unsubscribe me, but things did change. The emails kept coming with their usual frequency, but now NONE of them had unsubscribe links. They also each came from a different email address. Therefore, I can't block them, it doesn't work to report it as spam, and I can't scrub them. This is harassment. I have even called customer service to ask for help (this was approximately 10/27/2022) and was assured that I had now been removed from their email list. I am still receiving 5 or more emails per day as of today.Business Response

I cancelled an order online with ****** Chat Agent approximately 10 minutes after making it, and was told via the agent that I would be contacted. After not being notified I called their customer service, gave my order number, and was told they could not find my order. I called again and was informed that my order had gone through. After calling at least three more times, being transferred to numerous people, asking to speak with a supervisor and having a representative put me on hold and not coming back, I was finally transferred to a supervisor who told me there was nothing he could do because the order was being processed in the system, and that I could return it when it came. I informed him again that I had canceled the order timely, however, ****** customer service failed to follow through timely, and then asked if I could speak to his Supervisor, or have the supervisor call me. He in essence informed me that he was the Supervisor at the moment and that I could not speak with his Supervisor.I purchase online because I have underlying conditions,have had covid on more than one occasion and therefore for health reasons prefer not to go out. I am now stuck with merchandise that I do not want and cannot use due to their error.Business Response

10/31/2022 I returned an item for a Refund and received less than ****** charged me. They said it was due to Kohls cash rewards but I did not use that program with my purchase. I used a 20% off online offer but not the $50 Kohls cash that was deducted from my refund. Upon review of customer's concern, I verified that Order ********** initially placed October 2, 2022, included a Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill, 7-in-1 Master Grill, BBQ Smoker & Air Fryer. The customer earned a $50 ****** Cash coupon to spend October 03, 2022 October 16, 2022. The $50 ****** Cash October 3, 2022 online via Order ********** towards a ***** Recumbent Mag Cycle .
Kohls advertising of our Kohls Cash, including the coupon itself, clearly discloses that If merchandise purchased earning Kohls Cash Coupon is subsequently returned or price adjusted, the value of the Kohls Cash coupon previously earned and/or the amount of the merchandise refund will be reduced to reflect any unearned value. This information is also found on the receipts, as well as on Kohls.com.
If earned Kohls Cash is redeemed and then the original purchase is returned, the Kohls Cash that was spent is deducted from the return value. Finally, as set forth in the terms and conditions, the return value of merchandise purchased with Kohls Cash may be subject to adjustment.
